  • hæ ég er íslendingur, svaraðu á móti ef þú ert líka íslendingur

  • if this doesn't make you want to watch DW, then nothing will lol

  • what is the background song that starts to play throughout

  • Comment removed

  • I love the fact that I have seen every one of those episodes and can name them xD

  • Epicness

  • So epic!

  • the end is just the beginning? don't you mean the end is the beginning of a very long wait. every time an episode of doctor who ends now its a half year wait for another episode.

  • The next doctor should be gay :D

then people could make some fanfictions...ehehEHEHEHEHEH....mmm..yeah.

  • @Ascending567 The Doctor is asexual... and that should never change

  • @Yetaxa Asexual-ish I'd say.

  • @Yetaxa Surely his wives and children would disagree?

  • @Ascending567 People already do make fanfictions silly. You don't need canon approval.

  • @Ascending567 the doctor can,t be gay if you want gay watch torchwood

  • @james10690 There are more gay characters in Doctor Who than Torchwood...

  • Comment removed

  • @JamieHowitt that is true but torchwood has sex in it and doctor who doesn't because the doctor is asexual

  • @james10690 Except for his children and grandchilden, of course :P

  • @JamieHowitt Assuming that Gallifreyans reproduce in the conventional manner, which, if certain novels are to be accepted, they do not.

  • @Yetaxa If you mean Lungbarrow, I thought it was generally accepted that it's not canon :L

  • @JamieHowitt Well, even if it's not canon (and there's no good reason to say it's not) who's to say that Gallifreyans do reproduce like us, and even then, we have artificial ways of doing it, without two people having sex.

  • @Yetaxa True, but even if it's canon (and there's no good reason to say it is), there's still plenty of evidence in the show that the Doctor's sexual on some level.

Queen Elizabeth the First, for example, and (implied to a lesser extent) River Song and Madame De Pompadour.

  • @JamieHowitt how do you know that?

  • @james10690 How do I know what?

  • @JamieHowitt about the doctors children not being asexual

  • @james10690 I meant the Doctor's children are proof that he's not asexual, and his grandchildren are proof that at least one of his children wasn't asexual. :)

  • @JamieHowitt oh now i get it

  • @JamieHowitt Technically true, given that almost every character in Torchwood is bi.

  • @blayzebright Jack is bi rite?

  • @IamEpicization no gay

  • @Posiden178 NO HE'S OMNISEXUAL. HOW COULD YOU MESS THAT UP?

  • For 2012, I resolve to start watching Dr.Who. That seem like a good new years resolution?

  • The end is all ways the beginning. yeah right. All Doctors have a different persona.

  • crazy shit

  • "Trust me, i'm a actor"

  • @Booyah706 "I'm An actor, not a actor :p"

  • @Turtle7291 Whatever

  • aww i dont want it to end!! well... at least theres a christmas one for 2011! xD

  • VAMPIRES IN VENICS AND WEAPING ANGELS BEST ONES

  • @ankeny123456789 I love weeping angels episode it was both really funny and scary.

  • I have a question. I absolutely ADORE David Tennant as the doctor and as anything he plays. He's my favorite actor. I have one episode of Doctor Who left before he regenerates and I am SOOOO sad. I'm open to Matt and looking forward to it, but honestly once he comes along it seems to me like it becomes a completely different series. Are seasons 5/6 really different? Are the true to Doctor Who?

  • @marisajts This trailer kinda misrepresents the season.

It's still Doctor Who, but we're seeing it through a slightly different creative lens. The main difference is that time travel is used more and the show is now treated like a fairy tale and this works very well.

The transition from Tennant to Smith is smooth. By Season 6, I had to admit that I love Smith just as much as Tennant and I NEVER thought I'd say that.

It's still funny, suspenseful, stylish, touching, and fun as it was before.

  • @marisajts The David Tennant ones aren't exactly true to Doctor Who anyway...

  • awesome

  • Matt did a good job in Series 5, but I felt he completely out-did himself in his second series. By far my favorite Doctor, aside Eccleston.

  • @ironjoker101 my brother in law's too

  • Does anyone know the name of this music????. Matt smith is a brilliant Doctor to say he is no good is stupid, yes David t was brilliant but each version of the doctor is brilliant that`s what makes doctor who what it is today each actor brings something new and fresh to the table !!!!!! I will be sad to see Matt go just like when David went but I will be excited to see who will be the next Doctor !!!!

  • Is Zach Condon doctor who?

  • the tenth doctor (david tenant) was the best doctor ever.

  • @avyeris Except for William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Paul McGann (if he had a chance), and Matt Smith. Other than them you are absolutely correct.

  • @duke1425 And what about two of the greatest of them all, Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker?

  • @Yetaxa I don't know about the greatest of them all but I do like them both. Baker got some crap stories and some bad direction from JNT. If he was allowed to play it the way he wanted he could have been a great Doctor. I struggle liking McCoy during his first two seasons. However, in his last season he is brilliant. So, I have a hard time putting them above Tennant in public but I probably would rather watch them than Tennent if given the choice. Except maybe Silver Nemesis.

  • (This channel is not available in your country) Really Youtube? Wow.

  • i wonder Who the Twelfth Doctor will be?

  • oh my gosh. can people just stop fighting over who was a better doctor and watch the video.

  • David was shit. Matt better

  • So this looks.. Incredibly retarded

  • @M3t4lManiac So does your comment.

  • I hate Matt Smith, the fact is imo he has not got that look all the other doctor have, no like his face, like when a mysterious scene comes all the doctor have this look which makes you curious and a tad scared of them. Matt does not have that.

  • @SageOfTheSixPaths21 Sorry you seem to have got the name wrong. The word you need is 'David', not Matt -_-

  • @Yetaxa No, I definitely mean Matt, imho he is a rubbish doctor, david was way better, but there have been doctor who were more better than david, just Matt Smith has bee n the shittest, also the the recent series finale was extremely predicable

  • @SageOfTheSixPaths21 What do you matt was the shit doctor. he better that colin. He really was badase. to be honest i did find matt annoing with he came in the last david ep and his first ep but when he made that alien shit itself. i found he can be good as the doctor. He getting better just as david did.

  • @CPTTAYLOR592 I have always found him annoying, and shit. But I suppose many of Moffats episodes have been a flop, so you can't blame him, and Colin was much better than Matt.

  • @SageOfTheSixPaths21 People because his chin is to big but chris had big ears but everyone like him and david had spiky hair and was to of a crybady and everbody likes him but matt has big chin and everbody hate him. that just supid. get lost if don't like him. matt better than david. David got to annoing so i was ready for a new doctor.

  • @CPTTAYLOR592 firstly don't hate him because he has a big chin, in fact I did not even notice it, the reason everyone liked David was because he brought doctor who more emotion and heartfelt moments, ever since Matt has joined they have become very rare. Other than the an odd joke, I have found nothing amusing about Matt's reign as the doctor.

  • @SageOfTheSixPaths21 ok that ok. i thount you did. sorry i had to say that. it just that there a lot people hate him because of his chin. i did not like RTD making david doctor being human. david was good to start off with but after when rose left he got all being a jerk to marthe and donna. it was just not right. i like david but i just don't think he was the best doctor. i think John, Tom, Chris and Matt are the best Doctors

  • I'm new to this who series and all but what season should I start with?

  • @TheDevirtue I'd watch series 1 of the new series first and once that's finished possibly go back and watch some of the classics. Then once you've finished 1 just work your way up to 6. It really depends on whether your most interested in the new series or the old series, but personally I'd start with the new series and watch some of the classics later.

  • Matt is getting better as the doctor now.

  • Regarding the Tennant fangirls: I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

  • @Yetaxa im not a Tennant fangirl (or girl generally) but I do regard Tennant as the best Doctor, and he wasn't even my first Doctor. having said that even i must admit that his fangirls go too far at times. i mean like i said, I loved Tennant, i miss Tennant, but Smith is mindblowingly awesome. hell they all were mindblowingly awesome Hartnell-Eccelston. don't diss Matt cos David chose to leave, the role has to be replaceable. i don't blame tennant for the fangirls tho, ain't his fault

  • I don't get why people don't like Matt. He's playing brilliantly yet everyone says he's bad and everything. I feel sorry for him. :(

  • @MelodyRaindo David Tennant in my opinion was the best and always will be.

  • @MelodyRaindo i think series 6 has mostly Silenced (get it :) the Smith haters. i mean i'll admit i liked Smith in series 5 but thought he might've been a bit too much like Tennant at times. but tbh i felt a bit like that when David took over from Chris. it wasn't until both of thier second seasons that i really began to enjoy them. Smith is awesome. Tennant is awesome. end of.

  • @227060 i LIKED him right when he stuck his head out of the Tardis and sed "I love apples" He just has what it takes to play the loony-ness of the doctor

  • @MajCinematic well the doctor being loony is very dependant upon the interpretation and incarnation. I mean Hartnell was rarely loony or even eccentric

  • @227060 Which one was he?? The blond?? After Baker?? Matt already has his fan-girls but in more time he will be just as big as Tennant.

  • @MajCinematic Hartnell? lols, no he was the very first one. the 'blonde after baker' was Peter Davison altho the next guy Colin Baker was also blonde. they were the fifth and sixth doctor's respectivly. I agree he might be as big as tennant eventually. i mean im a tennant fan but i was tutting at the DT fangirls insulting Smith before his 1st ep even went out. mind you fans of the older doctor hating on the new 1 isn't anything new. go on a Jon Pertwee video + you'll find pl callin him the best

  • @227060 This is true.....it is common. I took to Matt right away in the 11th hour I mean that whole scene with the food and Amy was hilarious.

  • @MajCinematic I took to him then too. in fact i think the eleventh hour is a real contender for best ep 1 of a series yet. as well as 1 of the best of series 5. i dunno maybe Rose should take the cake since it had a harder job to do

  • @227060 Well put ;)

  • @MajCinematic cheers

  • @227060 Well when you're thinking about it, the first season they take over the role of the Doctor it's implying that they've just done a regeneration and are getting used to their new body. There would still the leftover mannerisms and stuff. Like the eleventh Doctor obviously still having hidden remorse for Rose Tyler. Ta-dahhh.

  • @DCson17 hmm nice theory

  • @MelodyRaindo its just different and we never needed a new doctor

  • @thefelts2 Well, since David Tennant only wanted to do 3 Series, we needed a new Doctor or the series would have ended.

  • @Norikins well thats ture I wish he stayed a bit longer

  • @MelodyRaindo its not that hes not brilliant is that everyone has there favorite Dr. and because this is the 10th generation, everyone is against the 11th :P the "successor"

  • @MelodyRaindo exactly! the only thing is, I wish there was less of Amy. I honestly can't stand her, but that's my own personal opinion. I say less of Amy and more of River Song, or get a new companion altogether.

  • @MelodyRaindo Who doesn't like him??? What little David Tennant fan girls??? They sit through Hamlet for David but they do not understand a word of it......they are just stuck on him and he is GREAT I like David .....but they are just the fan girls .....Matt is doing really well I took to him right away he fits into the role smoothly Give him more time

  • @MelodyRaindo Spot on. Honestly when Matt first came on I refused to watch DW, but I got back into it at the start of season 6, and by the time I was done with the first episode of season 5, I realized that I was going to like Matt just as much as I liked David. Honestly, he brought back the alien in the Doctor, which is more true to the actual story. I think people originally just thought he was too young...or something...

  • series 2 have the best actors. thi is a shit

  • @justoneboy1 haters gonna hate!

  • I think the 11th Doctor has actually revitalized the action in Doctor Who, that action you remembered from the 9th Doctor, and the classic Doctor Who series. Even though the 10th Doctor was awesome, the action felt like it was gone or something. Then the 11th Doctor came, and then that spark of action-packed adventures came back! :D

  • Who actually wishes that Amy was a policewoman? What does she actually do for a living besides being a kissogram and make up artist?

  • @SinDawg030 Give Amy a break - reality was collapsing from within her bedroom, so must have been hard to earn a decent living. :D

  • Like If your watching this in 2011

  • Didn't think i'd like the new Doctor but he's pretty badass!

  • @wolfgang123456789123 No idea why, or when I said that. I was probably possesed and then had all memories of posting these comments taken away from me, or the fact that I posted them a year ago.

  • @hemily54 It's cool. Like I said, I agree with most of what you say. I've been very disapointed in Moffat this season too. IMO, it's still better than most of RTD's stuff but that's not saying very much. I'm tired of this "River Song" arc and I long for the good ol' days of the Classic Series where they didn't use (much) the season long story arcs. I'm hoping for more self contained episodes next season. I think that will help but time will tell. It always does.

  • I like all the Doctors

Seriously, people moan too much. They'd moan if David Tennant was still here, because they want another Doctor. They'd moan if he left (which he did) you just can't please some people!

  • Matt Smith is a good doctor. And I trust him.

  • this doctor sucks

  • @AndreiaSaid This doctor is better david

  • @AndreiaSaid I only joking. they are both good. lol

  • ok wat have you got for me tonight on bbc 1 at 7.10pm :)

  • Too emotionally attached to a certain time lord. I DON'T CARE WHO PLAYS HIM. ITS THE CHARACTER I LOVE.

  • My favorite doctor is The Doctor. There's no point fighting over his regeneration when he's the same person.

  • @MrStarWarsandtrekfan On the contrary, the idea of the regenerations is that the doctor's personality changes. I think people have been pissed off just cause they were expecting David Tennant's Doctor, only played by somebody else, and they got Matt Smith's Doctor. I honestly think they're both brilliant (along with all the others), I don't compare them cause they're all unique. If people want DT's Doctor, they should go ahead and watch his series' instead of moaning about it.

  • OH get over it??? The doctor regenerates get used to it! I only started watching from 2005 series but I loved all of the 3 doctors...you would have to get used to the new doctor as he regenerates...

  • Doctar looks so violent from this trailer.

  • It scares me. Dr. Who is awesome but it scary! I DIDNT SLEEP UNTIL 4:00 AM IN THE MORNING!

  • I wish people would stop wishing Tennant would come back, yeah he was a brilliant Doctor but seriously he's not coming back and Smith is equally brilliant, so stop complaining

  • do you know what i love about doctor who?I love that anything can happen and it makes scents but if you put that ANYTHING in real life it makes no scents in anything thumbs up if you understand because its hard to explain. Oh and i absolutely LOVE all the people who made this show absolutely brilliant! too many words? >------<

  • Ironic how during tennants run, all the die hard fans hated tennant and RTD. RTD for the rubbish stories and David Tennant because he's a miscast.

When DT is gone they criticise the next doctor. Seriously? The doctor is the doctor, doesn't matter who acts him, its the same person.

  • Oh my God, I still can't put up with The Doctor shouting 'GERONIMO!' What is the next Doctor going to yell ? Cowabunga ?

  • Series 5 was like a fairy story. A small girl with an imaginary friend and no parents, who meets her imaginary friend years later and he turns out to be a magician from another world. She has a boyfriend who seems lame but waits for her for 2000 years in the end. Her imaginary friend brings her parents back from the dead, but he himself vanishes, only to be brought back by the girl who still believes in him.

I loved series 5. Despite it's fairy tale nature.

  • i miss david tenant i want him back

  • @poppy3899 I miss William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, and Paul McGann. I want them back.

  • @duke1425 Yeah any other Doctor but Tennant!

  • @duke1425 you might bet 5/8 on the 50th

  • @poppy3899 No way. i don't want back

  • It's a bit weird to see the Doctor using a gun.

It's because I know he didn't shoot anyone with it. But it still feels strange..

  • @dieskie2479 The Doctor used a gun more frequently then you might think in the classic series...even shooting and killing monsters. In fact, didn't Tennant fire a gun in his final story?

  • @duke1425 True, but it still feels a bit strange, can't explain it ;).

  • To end, it's a TV show. It's just, a TV show. I don't care who likes it, who hates it, who wishes it was how it used to be and who thinks the new series is better. This is coming from a huge (classic and revived and Tennant) Doctor Who fan, myself, but you have got to stop fighting over something as insignificant as this. Stop criticizing Doctor Who, whether it's Tennant or Smith, or just because you don't understand science fiction. Take the overall moral of Doctor Who and live your life.

  • @LlansleyNinja141 Oh please stop trying to be so politically correct! You sound more of a nerd than any Doctor Who or Sci Fi fan...

  • I want David Tennant back u mother fu....

  • Stupid remake, we already watched Doctor Who, we don't want a stupid remake with tons of special effects and no story! Enough Daleks, I can't see them anymore!

  • @ninjaspion No it's not a remake, just Steven moffat who can out write RTD anyday. The Doctor regenearted into Matt Smith who has outproved himself more than capable of playing the doctor. I don't think you really know what Dr who is. You just like the DT era and bag everything else, so you're not really a fan at all

  • @ninjaspion It not a remake. It still the same doctor who.

  • @CPTTAYLOR592 yeah, I saw it now, Doctor who just turned into this guy. But there will be Daleks again?! I can't see them again, they never die!

  • @ninjaspion I know. They do they lol

  • Matt Smith is okay-ish. Steven Moffat CAN'T write at all. Thats why I think 11th doctor is shit

  • @ShawneeObsessed Its way than tennant. Get the fuck off here and go and watch that crybaby tennant

  • @CPTTAYLOR592

Ewww stop speaking to me O_e

  • Matt smith. best doctor yet

  • i like the two new doctors (10th and 11th) first time that i watch dr who, it was at 5th doctor and i dont really like but when i start with 10th doctor now i just AGRO!

  • 0:15 Gross.

  • what I find out.
