  • Yeah, you're supposed to be able to stream your videos and stuff from Azureus (Vuze) but it doesn't work yet. Do a google search, there are discussions about it all over the place.

  • wot u have to do is load up azurues click options then tracker on ure left hand side the scro; down to a UPD Protocol Version 1 or 2 . u need to set this as 2 then click on the tab that says Plugins u need to maximize this tab and then click on media server it this set the stream port to 2 then click apply now load ure PS3 when azureus shows give it about 5 mins then open it now u can copy or direct downloads files u r or have downloaded 2 ure PS3 :)

  • Cheers mate, got it working

  • i hit the search for media icon on ps3 and the azureus icon disappeared.

    what is azureus?

  • dude somehow i automatically got azureus on my ps3 it like downloaded itself on it or something

  • ya, same here.

  • me 2 wtf

  • Dude, crap my ass. Pretty decent for a gaming tv. Why doesn't your grandpa go buy you a new island?

  • what was the point of even stating that.

  • This argument is over 3 months old but just to entertain you I shall explain: The only reason I posted that comment was to point out how owning a ps3 and not using it to its full HD potential is somewhat of a waste. It's like buying a high-end audio system and listening through it with crappy one dollar headphones...

  • I hate to say it but the man has a point. Three days after I bought my PS3, I went out a bought a new TV and HDMI cable.

  • The same happens to me, and I don't even use torrent programs such as Bitcomet, uTorrent or Azureus.

I don't know what the hell is going on.

  • same thing happens to me, maby if u download a ps3 gae and torrent it on azures it will show up on ps3 :p

  • i want my 187 seconds back

  • Me too. 3+ minutes to show nothing? At least tell us who is the blonde chiquita!

    Hmmmm.... chiquitas

  • i got it to work go to preferences > plugins > media server > then click publish media or something. only supported formats work though. (mp4 or mov) maybe. the ones ive downloaded thru vuse havent worked. but it displays anyway

  • yeah, I reached the same point. No way to see anything. Only the directory listing. I gave up. If anyone is interested a product for UPnP Media Server for PS3 just came out. Only for OSX, tho. It's called Medialink. It costs only 20USD/14Euro and it seems to do the job. And works with the folders you choose. Sometime I lose the connection, but I think it is because of the trial release (it allows only 30 damn minutes of testing, then it goes bananas and it is better to reboot OSX).

  • im gunna pass. ill let you know if i can if their is any light of supported media files

  • Yup me to

  • This isn't "nothing". I just had the same thing happen to me and this page actually helped me figure out what was going on.

  • same thing to me aswell =[

  • this happens to me to but when i click it it gives me an error

  • yeah that happened to me to but it was my neighbors and it showed up random, how do u use it?

  • happens for me wtf is happening

  • ive gone into preferences, and saved, publish media. more drop down menu's appear on the ps3 menu (music, video, pictures, downloads on each page).. but when i click on it i get "Media Server Error, A DLNA protocol error (7522)has occured" any suggestions?

  • First, you need to go into preferences >> plugins >> media server and check the box "publish media... etc" and click save. After that you need to restart azureus.

Now all the files that are in your azureus library are visible.

  • That doesn't work for everyone guy. Officially, Azureus says the program isn't designed to interact with the ps3 this way. Try Windows Media Player or TVersity.

  • wtf

  • crazy :)
