Would I be correct in that Jenny Lake is patterned after actress singer Tina Louise who sang for the troops during the Vietnam war with Less Brown's band with Bob Hope? As you may know Tina Louise played Ginger on Gilligan's Island?

This was probably the best scene of the whole series. They really did well with splice real footage from the USO shows and they got the look and feel of the 60s navy, not to mention the irony of the song vs Hammer never coming back.

I'm not sure if the DVD's out in The Netherlands. And I can't get the USA-Dvd 'cause the USA are region 1, and Europe is region 2... Too bad. I believe over here you can get the DVDs up to season 6. I've only got season 2. ;-)

Absolutely one of the best episodes...if you followed the show. it definately a teary eye cuz thats how Harms father went MIA when he was shot down. The song made it sad...Anytime i hear that song I think of JAG
