Someone should tell Melissa Chan that China is not a capitalist country. It is a fascist country with a little sprinkle of capitalism. Capitalism is an outgrowth of whatever free market there is. State control of society makes people poor.
Actually capitalism makes people poor. Or more precisely, it makes a small percentage of the people richer while making the majority of the people poorer. So in a sense, China IS a capitalist country. Their saving grace will be the government for the people.

It looks like he no less senselessly interpreted this as a negative report on Chinese success from "Muslim" AlJazeera, though it's certainly no less negative than the average Western report on the issue. I don't know, though; I'm not an expert on the psychology of fools. For the record though, Muslim Dubai's "successful culture" is far closer to the West's than Chinas.
