Mrs. Ford was an inspiration to millions of men and women, who were struggling with the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction. She was very important to my mother and a role model in my mother's recovery from alcoholism 30 years ago. I will always be grateful to Mrs. Ford for her candor and honesty about her own demons, as it gave hope to not only my mother, but also me when I got clean 2 years ago. May you rest in peace with the love of your life Mrs. Ford and God bless your legacy!

I was shocked at how she had aged by the time Jerry died.You can tell she had a facelift within the last 20 years.She and Jerry are together again.I visited the Ford Musuem in early May.

God knows we ARE ALL STRUGGLING...i SAW THE ORIGINAL...i cried the and cry now..my dad and me we so against each other...and my mom was the best mom any one who know am 53 ..feel like 23 hahaha kinda cute but still this guy at the gym said hey u look great how old are ya and i said guess and he said 53 and I said OMG  AM I?

What a wonderful couple. I'm watching the Betty Ford documentary on PBS now, and it reminds me how much I love the Fords. I am a Democrat and I'm PROUD to say this. One of my favorite Presidents and First Ladies. Pioneers, honest, full of integrity, REAL family values, real role models for all of us.
