  • Well done! Absolutley enjoyed that treat of vintage Page!. Great stuff. Thanks!!:)

  • @LiLhusLLa094

Master and Pre at 10 o'clock. I use the Throbak Stonebender between guitar and amp.

  • did you crank the master for the tone or just the preamp

  • @LesterPaul01 Tank you very much! Was a lot of work! But I feel it was worth...

  • You get the closest to page's tone that i have heard on you tube. Rock on.

  • Wow very impressive. *Subs*

Hey I'm buying a pedal that I want to get close to the Zeppelin tone and I saw you mention you have the Stonebender. I didn't know if you think it's the best one for mimicking the sound. Thanks.

  • @Fldzpln11 Yes, This is the pedal, if you want to recreate those sounds. Jimmy Page used on How The West Was Won Tour the Tonebender Fuzz. This guy from Throbak has rebuilt that pedal with best components. I love this pedal! Go and get it!

  • @GrandZeppelinBand Awesome! How the West Was Won has some of my favorite versions of their songs too so I can't pass that up. Oh by the way do you know how to get a later Zeppelin tone off hand? I've seen pedals that recreate the earlier stuff but wasn't sure if there were ones that did the later sound like the Tea for One very well.

  • were do i buy these caps ? at one time i bought supposed to be vintage nos bumble bee's and vintage pots ..later found they were fake..and why they didnt sound right... a little help from were you got your would be a big help to me!!! any other tipsas well' thanks keith

  • sounds sweet! nice axe too!! Im using a pair of gibson classic 57's with alfa pots ...thinking of using orange drop caps what you think?

  • @keith6plant I think youll get good results. But I use the Vitamin Q´s. Best sound to my ears...

  • @GrandZeppelinBand yep, you do have a point. rock on

  • @keith6plant Dude, I put them in my SG standard. Along with a tonepros bridge and tail and it sounds sick. My bandmates swear it sounds like a custom shop. And this is a SG Standard I am talking about. The 490 498 crap had to go. Yep you will love the orange drop caps. Rock on

  • sounds sweeet!! im useing a pair of the gibson 57 classics and a quad od alfa pots ..thinking of using orange drops what you think?

  • @CJsoccer4

Bring it on home, Black dog

  • whats that first song???

  • @MrJohnnyDistortion

You can easily buy Us made Holmes pickups in America... They seem to me a bit brighter than these. I ve allready tryed to get a new pair from Japan, but it's impossible.

  • @MrJohnnyDistortion

I ve bought them on ebay. They were used and I payed about 450 $.

best pickups compared to all those other replicas...

    My opinion...,

  • Could you please give information on where/how you purchased these pickups and how much?Sound great of course, thanx.

  • @eladtall Hi Elad!

You get this Pickups sometimes on ebay. But you can buy them online in the USA!

I use the Gibson Abr1 and a Faber Stoptail.

  • hello , your guitar , and you sounds realy grate ,

i build a 59 burst replica and i tray many pickups

finaly i chosse the throbak , the peter green mod , they are really amazing

but i want to tray the tom holmes you use ther and i dont find them

can you tell me how can i get them ?

and another thing , what bridge and talepice do you use on this amazing guitar?

  • @lucianogt I use the vintage kit and Vitamin Q caps

  • Please, what Rs Guitarworks Kit do you have? Vintage or Modern? Luxe Bees, Jensen Caps or RS Guitarcaps? Thanks!

  • These are the Japan made H450 and H455

    Neck 7,46 k and the bridge 8,2 k

  • Hey, what model are those? And do u know the olms readings?

    Vary airy and harmonic overtones...

  • @jojogun1957 my luthier and I made a blind test. He built two replicas at one time out of the same materials. In his guitar the Joelton made pups and in my guitar the Japan ones. We were not able to hear any difference! Maybe there are "magic ear people" out there who could? I can not hear any difference! But the tone of other manufacturers is noticeably diffent! Even for deaf born guitarists!
