Interesting to SEE the difference in GREAT Athletes when they were young and in their prime to when they are older, past it and ageing pre-maturley. I mean, just look at the grandiosity in his talk back then and yes he was obviously egging it on for the sake of making fights bigger but you could see he really believed it as well and this is why people feared him and thought he was crazed.

@TigonOrLiger I also believe it's for this reason he was the greatest fighter ever too. Almost all mental disorders (bipolar, ADHD and Autism especially) produce OBSESSIVE thinking patterns which of course, gear towards perfection.
And that's what you see in Tyson's style. Almost every punch he threw was perfectly formed, the form of them were so rigid and full-on, never sloppy or loose and his timing was robotic. And as you probably know he's incredibly analytical and obsessive with study too.

Interesting to SEE the difference in GREAT Athletes when they were young and in their prime to when they are older, past it and ageing pre-maturley. Nothing lasts forever, but it is SAD to see Tyson fading quicker than nature intended. Contemporaries Lewis, Bruno, Witherspoon, still look quite 'fresh' in their older years.
