In every single fight fighters are measuring each other - once Mir saw Carwin's power he got scared.

Descent review. Carwin wasn't dominating against the cage, he was just giving him some knees and short punches, to wear him out. Only when carwin stepped back, got some distance and unloaded a left, followed by uppercuts, that mir got tagged. Lesnar shit himself, it was obvious, his nervous laugh and posturing, gave it away, as well as his stupid comments after. He already knows hes in for a beatdown. Carwin is too skilled standing, equal or better strength, and far better mentally.

I agree with most of what you say but disagree about the comparism of both Brock and Shane's time on Mir.
Note that Brock's first fight with Mir which was his 2nd fight in MMA could have ended early in his favour had he not got caught in the Kneebar. Before his 2nd fight he made it clear that he would go in to hurt Mir hence the reason he took his time and also to ensure he doesn't get caught in another submission due to his inexperience in the sport.
if you put carwin and lesnar together and look at there stats lesnar is better than carwin in all aspects speed,strength,wrestling,etc... but not in the stand up and of of course brock will work on his stand up and head movement and fights are all about game plans just because carwin beat mir faster does not mean that he will beat lesnar.
Not taking away much from Lesnar but strength wise on paper I suspect Carwin edges him a tiny bit. Lesnar has a more athletic shape to his body and is a little larger than Carwin, but something that is not always easy to spot is the sturdiness of bones and joints. That being said Lesnars body is surprisingly mobile and quick and it is possible his non wrestling mma skills have leap frogged. Always thought Carwin would beat Lesnar, but if Lesnars' skill has leveled up I don't know.

They were all taking steroids in the WWE anyways, so even if he did bench that, he was cheating. At Brock's NFL tryout after the WWE, his max bench was 475. Secondly, I know the heavyweight limit is 265. Carwin and Lesnar both walk around at close to 300 lbs, but they cut weight to make the 265 lb limit. Mir had to bulk up to get to 265.

This dude is scary! Frank Mir is my favorite fighter and even though he was well prepared for the fight I had a feeling that Carwin's brute strength would dominate the fight and it happened. I felt sorry for Frank because he did not do much apart of one combination he threw. Brock does not realise the danger.

I think frank was unfocused. He really didn't do much offensively. I think he might have been overlooking his opponent and looking for another Lesnar fight. As for Carwin, we all learned he's the real deal and I can't possibly predict what the outcome between them two would be.
If you remember with the Lesnar Couture fight, Couture was able to control Lesnar somewhat similarly to that of the fight last night. Also, Lesnar hasn't really fought anyone his size yet and he's been sick.

mma.He has explosion and accuracy in his punches.That means that when he has a target he takes the game.From previous fight we know that he doesn't have ANY punch defense but he can take at least two punches (in the head - not in the chin) and recover.He definitely doesn't scared in the ring even when he tries to recover.

In every single fight fighters are measuring each other - once Mir saw Carwin's power he got scared.
Once he got scared his mind blocked so he was playing with silly combinations that would may give points in another sport.
What we can see in every Mir's game in that he fights alone - he cannot read opponents - he might have some good skills but his level in not that high to be able to give any fight.

Descent review. Carwin wasn't dominating against the cage, he was just giving him some knees and short punches, to wear him out. Only when carwin stepped back, got some distance and unloaded a left, followed by uppercuts, that mir got tagged. Lesnar shit himself, it was obvious, his nervous laugh and posturing, gave it away, as well as his stupid comments after. He already knows hes in for a beatdown. Carwin is too skilled standing, equal or better strength, and far better mentally.

I agree with most of what you say but disagree about the comparism of both Brock and Shane's time on Mir.
Note that Brock's first fight with Mir which was his 2nd fight in MMA could have ended early in his favour had he not got caught in the Kneebar. Before his 2nd fight he made it clear that he would go in to hurt Mir hence the reason he took his time and also to ensure he doesn't get caught in another submission due to his inexperience in the sport.

Not taking away much from Lesnar but strength wise on paper I suspect Carwin edges him a tiny bit. Lesnar has a more athletic shape to his body and is a little larger than Carwin, but something that is not always easy to spot is the sturdiness of bones and joints. That being said Lesnars body is surprisingly mobile and quick and it is possible his non wrestling mma skills have leap frogged. Always thought Carwin would beat Lesnar, but if Lesnars' skill has leveled up I don't know.

@Laneooo1, first of all Lesnar was not spotted benching 650. That is something Kurt Angle said he saw Lesnar bench, which is BS. They were all taking steroids in the WWE anyways, so even if he did bench that, he was cheating. At Brock's NFL tryout after the WWE, his max bench was 475. Secondly, I know the heavyweight limit is 265. Carwin and Lesnar both walk around at close to 300 lbs, but they cut weight to make the 265 lb limit. Mir had to bulk up to get to 265.

Agreed, but two facts remain true:
1. Lesnar cannot compete with Carwin on the standup. Anyone who thinks otherwise is very confused, or doesn't watch MMA.
2. Carwin will be difficult on the ground, and if there's a time where Lesnar will be vulnerable - his entire career - it's now, and it's against a formidable wrestler.

Well you never know exactly what was going on with that disease. Doctors can get in a lot of trouble for false reports, but I still am not sure about Brocks Miraculous recovery. This dude is scary! Frank Mir is my favorite fighter and even though he was well prepared for the fight I had a feeling that Carwin's brute strength would dominate the fight and it happened. I felt sorry for Frank because he did not do much apart of one combination he threw. Brock does not realise the danger.

I think frank was unfocused. He really didn't do much offensively. I think he might have been overlooking his opponent and looking for another Lesnar fight. As for Carwin, we all learned he's the real deal and I can't possibly predict what the outcome between them two would be.
If you remember with the Lesnar Couture fight, Couture was able to control Lesnar somewhat similarly to that of the fight last night. Also, Lesnar hasn't really fought anyone his size yet and he's been sick.
