How funny you talk about smoking, I gave up about 7 years ago and it took me a few years after that before I stopped the craving. Last night I had a dream of going to the bar and buying 10 silk cut and got back to this table of people and they had ordered a sea bass dinner for me and I was so angry..hehe..U hit the nail on the head about the future and cooked food and booze being like ciggies..I have thought exactly the same thing. Good luck on your journey.
Hi,would love to take part in this, but how does one go about it.... sorry, bit of a novice at this Im afraid! Is it just a case of starting all together on the 1st or is there an official site. Kindest regards, Blackcherrypink x
Having watched all your video clips, you have totaly inspired me and sent me on my very own journey with raw food. You just look fantastic and your enthusiasm shines through. Can't wait to see more clips and recipes. Thank you for being you.x
Congrats! I've found; to ride myself of cravings- to do a fast. I went on a vacation for a week and ate cooked food (fish and fries). the day we flew back I only drank water. the next few days I cleansed the colon and ate light raw foods-- that was about 4 days. After that I was able to go a month without cravings. I unfortunately caved in at a Chinese restaurant when my husband had food left over on his plate... but I'm fasting today and getting back on the wagon.
Ah! I miss Brighton! I used to live there ... though London is good of course too :-) Is wine raw? The closest wine to raw is organic, because it's free of pesticides etc. I've been known to decide that a glass of wine is "probably organic and therefore raw" in the most unlikely places! Some people just say no, no, no but I say we do what we can, when we can ... enjoy whatever you do :-)
Paula here...congratulations my friend! You are doing so well. Your dancing made me smile! I am on more of spiritual journey now. Stop by some time and show your pretty face :)
Anthony ! Yes this is a lovely blog, I was mostly only interested in your blogs from the kitchen--- this one is good though... b/c you really adress the "mental" side raw,, and food addictions and comfort zones that lure us to cooked--- going through staying 100% raw well reward you because eventually your tastes well change --- for myself: I have had a life long history of hating celery, but now it is a staple in my diet that I cant do without - RAW VEGAN is transformational magic..
Oh how exciting! I wonder how my tastes will change as I transform? I'm certainly not among those who have green smoothies with lots of greens and just half an apple (yet). But neither am I the child I who needed sugar (((sugar))) sprinkled on his tomato sandwiches to make them palatable. Looking forward to the transformational magic :-)
Yes Iam one of those people-- I have actually been working in the direction of Gabriel Cousen's " Rainbow Live", I eat little to NO sweets (fruit) and my green smoothies mostly appear as savory green soups: to ME: the celery , cumin, sea salt, hot pepper and stevia is the key. I love middle easter, mediterranean and thai tastes, throw some tumeric and coconut in their to take it further. But on a simpler level: leafy green, celery, salt, and the CUMIN is the key--- avacado is a good addition
WTG Antony! 3.8 lbs woohoo! Look at you all smiley and dancing :D I need treats everyday too :) I am so proud of you my London buddy :) I am so happy that you are enjoying your new lifestyle.

That's a good tip about fasting and a good thing to do, as cooked food always makes me feel so heavy! Thanks & good luck to you as well :-)
