thers a custom firmware floating on the internet for the ipod touch that u use to jailbreak it..but its not like any other.. after you jailbreak it..thers no returning from it.. restoring the ipod wont do shit to help u...it stays exactly the same.. thats why im not risking it.. so be careful when looking for cf for the touch on the internet.. the touch is similiar to the psp.. and the psp has a coupl cf that do the same.. i caution..all of yu..

oh, a solution that ipodtouchmaster came up with was if you are stuck on the chicken screen. Just keep tapping and tapping till it goes in. If it automatically goes to the home screen, just restart the process.

At the beginning I had to do it a couple times before it worked.
