I loved using Signet of Midnight and Clumsiness on Assassins, those who didn't watch their debuff bar would just attack me until they died. Lots of rage quitting. Though SoM was nerfed>.< Johnny Cage Wins !!!!

Hey, i'm about to get guild wars, and i am stuck on a choice between Necromancer/elementalist or Necromancer/Mesmer. what are you opinions?

@OrbitPrime: Necro itself is really self relient on its own skills. Layering in hexes are helpful from mesmer and mixing in some conditions and damage from ele is helpful too. Its really your style of play. But the main thing about a necro is Soul Reaping. That is your main source of energy management. Guild Wars in general has been pulling away from primary professions using all secondary profession skills. So choosing a secondary profession is not as important as it use to be.

@CaptainBlackSparrows I do because ANET brought a new style of game play to the RPG and PvP area of gaming. Plus we do know that the Queen is a Mesmer. I think that Mesmer is the 8th profession and that might be why it is taking so long to bring out. The mechanics of force decision making and hard CC is going to be hard to implement in GW2 I think. Especially when hexes have been removed from Tyria.

@Waffle2213: mmmmm, of those above? N/E can stack conditions and hexes that you can cause a lot of problems for the other team. N/A is kinda blah, tried it, didnt work, but you get different hex options that are kinda cool in deadly arts. E/A is ok, I love my AoE bomber build, but thats for AB only. So from that, N/E would give you the most options to play with. Plus you cant go wrong with the almost unlimted energy of a necro in PvE.  Try skill combo glyph of immolation with Vile Miasma.

Mesmers are easily the most fun profession once you understand how to use them. There is nothing more satisfying than disrupting and pissing off other players! Hopefully they'll be in Guild Wars 2.

@zeusz25: That is a tough one to go through the game the first time with, so I give you some credit for it! Like I said in the video, Mesmer and Necro do go together pretty well with the hexing and hinderences you can gain from both profession. Plus the Fast Casting from the Mesmer profession should help a lot with the longer Necro casting times.

Who am I? Well I am a Mesmer Master. I know all that is to know about the Mesmer.

Making a Me/N mainly refers to DOMINATING your opponents with Curses and Domination Magic. This provides you with more skills like Empathy and Backfire. But dont be afraid to go beond that.

You should soon learn that enemies die TOO fast for spells like Empathy, so what I do is I use ILLUSION MAGIC in PvE to sustain constant dmg. and DOMINATION MAGIC in PvP or Hard Mode

To be honest i was playing the trial version and i wanted to buy the trilogy, but it seems that it is inpossible in my country, since there's no place where you can buy it. :/

Im now waiting for GW2 and hope that mesmers will be there too. (I hope i can buy it lol...)

@zeusz25 I started playing as mesmer/necro and im currently lvl 12 its good fun but im still a noob and hardly know what to do, but i reccomend it if you like a bit of a challenge but i would advise you start with the warrior as theyre the easiest to start of with

um... if you mean pre-searing... like lvl 7... if you got friends and hook ups... you can leave at like lvl 3 andget run to drocks orwhere ever for max armor.

At this point, lvling and armor in GW is just way to easy... you can get max armor in lvl 20 in like 3 hours. I post a how too vid... but I think ANET would not be to happy with me...

Are Mesmers really a good starter or overall a good profession? How do you keep your mp level high? I have an elementist that uses skills that drain my mp quickly and it's annoying lol

mesmers are the toughest profession to start on in GW... I dont recomend it as your first... or second.

As for Ele energy... attunement, aura of restoration... still have issues? maybe cheeper skills or grab a skill like Mind Blast.

its not bad. Although I would not use Spirit Shackles... kinda of a wasted skill there for PvE. I think the part you would have to worrie about it the long recharge of all your skills and the obvious fact you do not have an Elite Skill.

So what I would do is drop Spirit Shackels and go with a skill like Mantra of Recovery. This will speed your spell's recharge by 33%. So those 20 sec recharges will take about 13 seconds.

Also, go with about 10 points in Dom, Inspir and Fast Cast.

Thanks for your suggestion. I dont have mantra of recovery unlock yet because i just start the game. Is it a good idea to put mesmer virtuoso's and prodigy's insignia to all of my armor piece?

Now i will be buying all 3 GW's and the expantion and i was thinking of going warras main prof and mesmer as 2nd could you give me any tips and any other ideas if mesmer could be replaced by something more beneficial? As a Mesmer secondary on a Warrior, you will be greatly limited in the begining for skills to use. However, later down the road there will be more skills at your disposal... which by then you would be able to change your secondary to anything anyways. So I recomend always going with Monk or Dervish at the start, then change from there. But when you are able to get a lot of good Mesmer skills... Stay in the Inspirartion line for Heals, Mantras to raise you Armor and lower costing skills.

1)There is no such thing as the best profession! But if your a newbie i recommend going elementor.

2)The best 2 combinations of the professions..... Ele/Mes Ele/N

3)Assasins are good dont get me wrong.. but the fractons canpeign SUCKS!Assasins need lots of skills for combo chain but all fractions offers is experience and gold!

besides for the PVP request could u make a video of you beating Magni, preferably with a Ranger and few PVE skills (I haven't gotten too many of those yet) even tho I know You Move Like a Dwarf is used widely. Perhaps Pin Down and just kiting until he runs back or interupting Purge Signet (that should work), but I was wondering if there's a faster way. I know that it could be done easily with a sin or rit (maybe rit secondary), but I'm very eager to see a ranger one.

depends on what you have for PvE only skills... I will try to stick with Standard Skills, but there are PvE skills that are more powerful...

How about a Dark Mesmer?

I am going in order by appearence in game... starting with the cores and then moving into the other 2 games... So Sins will be after my Ele and Monk vids... its a slow process due to real life work and GvGs... and Eles will take a while since it is such a broad profession.
