  • Oliver Stone was wrong. We didn't stay.

  • Best moment in the film. Richard Dreyfuss should have been oscar nominated for his portrayal of Cheney.

  • I think much of what "Cheney" says here makes sense. The U.S. needs to have as strong a presence as possible in the Middle East. Protecting the world's oil reserves is a matter of global security. Politically correct or not, much of the Middle East is populated by bloodthirsty fanatics who would love to use the region's oil to wreak havoc all over the world. Unfortunately, the war in Iraq became a mess and the American people just wanted out.

  • This movie was terribly damaged for being shot and released in 2008 instead of 2012. Read the newspapers today (or search the words IRAN URANIUM BUNKER). "Time will tell", they say. Well, the only mistake Oliver Stone made was being right before time... like most visionaries.

  • Νέα Τάξη Ισχυρή !

  • this is just stupid.

  • What the hell are smoking disinfotainment? Cheney had no exit strategy for Iraq Cheney only wanted to control Eurasia and take Iraq's oil...drain the swamp and conquer.

  • With the depopulation programme that is happening right now, The world's population will decrease dramatically, using up fewer resources for the elites to consume. The population will be leveled out to around 500 million as stated on the georgia guide stones. With clone bred worker sheep kept alive to do the bidding of the elite. It's a small club and You and Me ain't in it.

  • Diabolical

  • The scary thing; I agree with him.

  • fuck the entire bush administration they bombed the wtc's

  • Dick Cheney is the worst man in the world. More than Osama, more than Bout more than Hussein, over Pot, more than Jong-il or any dictator in the last 50 years

  • @TheCrisisKings

Whoa, whoa, hold it. I hope that's exaggeration. Dick Cheney sparked a war in a third world country. Kim Il-Jong sends his citizens to work camps and lets them suffer without basic necessities. Osama Bin Laden killed thousands of people in the name of God and gloated when both millions of American and Afghan lives were lost as a result. Pol Pot killed his own citizens for petty reasons.

I'm not defending Dick Cheny, but the comparison is ridiculous.

  • And for less than 1/2 the cost of the Iraq war, the US energy infrastructure could have been converted to solar.

  • Dick Cheney has such an ego, he'll watch this scene of himself and be very pleased with his portrayal.

  • @fivealive2 that's because in the long run...he's probably right. They should have told us a truth...we would have supported the war more. It's our control or there's, that simple. Simple Darwinian truth. Liberals call it evil, realists call sustaining our way of life.

  • @DanielHendricksSimon absolute power brings corruption and it sure went to Cheney's head. its scary how much control this man had over president Bush. If it was up to Cheney he would have invaded Iran and Syria too. Thanks to this man, the American economy and its super power status is down the toilet.

  • meanwhile 8 plus years later...

theres thousands of dead and injured US soldiers. Hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqis. An economy that is a border depression thats spending billions of dollars it cant afford to rebuild Iraq. A world that practically hates us. Gas prices that still rise. A weakening of the USA all together. People losing their homes and jobs. Higher inflation and unemployment....

I'd say your plan worked out well Mr. Vice president and fuck you very much.

  • There is no exit strategy. Cui bono.

  • This is an insulting portrayal of the Bush administration. Fuck this movie, and fuck the liberal shitheads who thought that this is honestly how President Bush and Vice President Cheney planned the 2nd Iraq war. This is honestly heresy, and liberal propoganda, Bush-bashing bullshit at its finest!

  • @SAOrules The movie reeks of satire. Why so serious?

  • Hehehe, great reaction by Colin Powell, saying to himself: This is bullshit...

  • Great plan...but it failed, and with that failure they brought the irrevocable end of the US era of world dominance. We're living in the first years a multipolar world, that will likely end in global chaos

  • @mdgarciasa the US wasn't built for and was never intended to become a dominant world superpower or empire. the moment it strayed was the moment it's downfall was ensured. the moment the south was told it can't leave the union it voluntarily joined was the end of this nation of United States.

an empire is not a small group of people bullying the world. that's just a small group of delusional idiots. without support from the citizens you're completely doomed and without hope.

  • @msa1985 Haha it would be interesting to see what a separation of South and North would do to the US. My guess is that the south would quickly decay into a christian theocracy with completely closed boarders, a sh1tload of weapons, death penalty for abortion, legalization of slavery, redirecting "inappropriate" internet traffic to conservapedia etc.

  • This is exactly what the United States needs to do to secure this region and ensure the safety of American citizens.

  • Say what you will about Cheney, the man is a dedicated mother fucker, and a badass lol. And I couldn't be more liberal.

  • thanks god we're allied. (ita here)

  • Dreyfuss should have been nominated for this role. He did an epic job.

  • America wants to Control Iraq and they used 9/11 as an excuse to go all out. What happened on 9/11 was unforgivable and i want to see Bin Laden hung up by his balls as much as anyone. but George Bush and his govt were fucking bullies and America went to far when they invaded Iraq. Since the invasion 4000000 iraqis have left 100000 of them were christians. America does not understand the middle east and cannot see beyond there own pains and self interests.

  • I guess you forgot Tony Blair and the Uk went with Bush, you would be living in the Third Reich if it wasnt for Americans who dont understand the world.

  • @St984 true enough but that dosent give your country the right to tell others how to live. I aint against American people only those in power. Your country needs us as much as we need you. You may have helped get ridden of facism but that was over 60 yrs ago allot has changed and now we have had enough trouble from a govt that up until recenty was headed by a stupid shit kicker of a cowboy. Thank god Obama and the democrats are in power at least

  • @St984 UK may have joined but I never supported the war as did many people both here and in America remember that. I only support the troops as they are doing there jobs. I just don't like the corrupt cunts of politicians who have never served a day in Uniform (Bush Rumsfield and Blair) telling us that war is necessary. if we had gone there in 91 we'd still be there and we would still be paying 90% of the costs for that country. Even Stormin Normin Said that and he was a fucking general.

  • @St984 Actually he would be living in russia.

  • @041363238

I see there's still some sheeple... you better get your facts straight bud... go watch TV

  • dick cheney is my hero

  • agreed, smart man
