Don't believe the figures given for the National ME Centre, they only use CBT & GET. You get put on a ward with many other people that also have neurological conditions. It's noisy and light. This was the place where Sophie Mirza refused to go, and so was sectioned.

They invented CFS as a coverall for all fatigueing illnesses. ME is NOT the same thing as CFS.
She'd be better off not going there! I'm so glad my pct denied me funding as I think it might well have finished me off. She'd be better to buy the Invest in ME dvds and find out about the real advances in treatment than submit herself to behavioural therapies which can harm further or to psyche drugs which, in my experience, will lead you sraight to hell. Google the Whittemore Petterson Institute and see that there really is great hope for proper treatment on the near horizon :)
