  • I am planning on buying the 3000's in like 2 weeks. Are they a good buy if I just want to them to listen to music, because I'm worried that they won't sound as good as I think. Also, are they over ear or on ear ??

  • update, I still have both sets, no cracks or any quality issues whatsoever, if anything the bass has gotten heavier due to breaking in the drivers =]

  • whats the name of the second track playing during the 3000 review?

  • @Ch3if137 "HandGuns" - Alex Gopher

  • wahts the name of the track in the background ?

  • @1215314 first track is "I Remember" - Deadmau5 second track is "HandGuns" - Alex Gopher

  • Does'nt Tiesto use the 3000's

  • @DeejayErez Tiesto used to use 2000's not sure what He's pushing now.

  • are the 3000 good? like honestly? im trying to get them for my dj stuff. i need some goos starters

  • im 13 and starting to dj would tem headphones be to big for my head

  • I hate the fact that all manufacturers make weak hinges. I swear to God it's on purpose so you buy new ones more often.

  • Lol, the mono stereo switch just cuts down the cymbals and stuff

  • I'm going to go with the 2000's they seem to be more trust worthy and durable compared to the 3000's (skull candy like hinges >>cheap<<) which aren't. But still keeping the quality.

  • DO NOT BUY THESE HEADPHONES !!!!!

Very cheaply made and break within months

  • The 3000's I would choose

  • You reviewing Tiesto's (old) Headphones while listening to Deadmau5 Music hahah pretty funny

  • i have to buy these... my first name is stanton haha not really a choice at this point

  • Adapter, is he included in the box?

  • Comment removed

  • hey i just got the dj pro 2000 and my music sounds distortioned is that ok? or is there something wrong?

  • the 3000s are AWFUL with bass response!

  • Altoids is actually a headphone amplifier with db bass boost =)

  • @MikeFrozt yo mike what do you think is better, the Stanton 3000s or the Pioneer HDJ-500?

  • @donclip01 To be completely honest I love both those sets, you can't go wrong with either or.

  • i like the altoids the best

  • I recommend the 3000's I'm a dubstep head myself!

  • What headphones would you recommend for dubstep or bassy songs?

  • hi. nice vid. Can you tell me, for example, for a guy just want listen music in pc or a mp3 but with great sound, nothing pro, what headphones you would buy? sorry bad english.

  • hey man, for as ipod and pc use i use and recommend the zune V2 headphones, the best quality and sound for the money.

  • I Remember - Deadamau5 :)

  • why isn't there a mono switch on the dj pro 3000? wtf

  • are the stanton 2000s durable? cause the black connection piece to the headphone cup looks like thin plastic

  • Thanks man

  • How much for the 2000s????

  • @bazoem13 depends where you get em, they can run anything from $75.00 to $100.00

  • Nice vid man euh but how mush for the 2000s

  • @3runsmackheads

Yes, pretty much all headphones you buy work with mp3 or just about any other music file type. I have not come across a pair that doesn't. Yes the larger "DJ" cable do come with it as well as the pouch. You can go to your local video and audio store such as RadioShack and pick up a pair of cables with a 1/8 3.5mm plug.

  • uhm do you get the dj cable whith em? if you do where can i get a smaller cable thank you and you now have one new subscriber (me!) :D

  • 3000* sorry

  • will the 300 work for mp3?

  • i got these headphones and the led light shit doesn't work (not that i particularly need the lights, but i just wanted to try them out). do you need to do anything to make them work?

  • thx for the video man

  • i remember by deadmau5 ;)

  • @Honker103 all the way

  • @pickupman204 aww yeah ;)

  • great vid :)

  • how is the bass in these? im buying new headphones cuz i need more bass reproduction, these good?

  • where did you get the 3.5 wires at?

  • @SMDXxSpEcIaLkXx Radio Shack!

  • @MikeFrozt Thanks for the help :]

  • After 1 year of using these headphones my clip on the side completely broke ! The Sound of these headphones are very good and loud but quality wise they are made very cheap but I have to admit they do look strong !! The Stanton Pro Dj 2000s are wayy better but I would go with Sony and Pioneer for headphones

  • dude ALTOIDS!!!!!!!

  • @cholovilchez not just altoids headphone amp built into Altoids tin =)

  • are these better than the beats pro?

  • @paulinchi I preffer these over Mainstream headphones, yeah.

  • tiesto uses 2000's

  • Dude im having a real hard time choosing. The 2000's are built better but the 3000's have a sexier look and little better sound quality. You think i can just like super glue the hinge area together to prevent from openning and breaking??

  • Dude im having a real hard time choosing. The 2000's are built better but the 3000's have a sexier look and little better sound quality. You think i can just like super glue the hinge area together to prevent from openning and breaking??

  • high quality aluminum!!!!

  • hey bro is stanton better than bose?

does it have noise cancelling system?

i own bose, and i like them, but the reason is that they are too pricey.

i plan to buy another one, help me out

    cheers

  • I Remember - Deadmau5 and Kaskade!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have the Pro 2000's and I find the 2000's way better than the 3000's... Much better build quality also

  • these are da ones that tiesto uses

  • nice review. i don't know wether i want to go with the 3000's or pioneer djm 1000's. Ive heard the 1000's are very fragile

  • @MikeFrozt Thanks i was searching this song for long time xD

  • What is the second song???

  • @jezzel1234 "Handguns" alex gopher (dadda life mix)

  • okay dude, you made this video about 6/7 months ago, so i have to ask; how are the dj pro 3000 holding up? stand the test of time?

  • @sakeya absolutely, I was just using them last night while remixing couple songs Virtual Dj, Is like I said before as long as you don't use them all extended on the hinges, there's less stress on the plastic and much more support.

  • Comment removed

  • @dwai1967 after 1 year i still have them both, i have not seen any cracking on my 3000's as i take care of them and i keep them closed when i wear them, so my theory goes strong still.

  • @MikeFrozt Thanks bro. Bought the 3000's and yeah definitely worth the money! I have to open them a little cause I have a big ass head but so far no troubles! Thanks for the review.

  • were did you get the wier from

  • @M1CKYB33 local Radioshack. make sure you get the 6 - 7 foot male to male with plastic connector holds then shave one end down so it can look like the stanton boxed jack end and there you go!

  • What is the first song?

  • Deadmau5 - I remember (original edit) @yz450fyamaha1

  • @MikeFrozt thanks a lot man

  • @MikeFrozt Man, u got both...I cant choose between them, I like them both, but 3000's look sexier for me, but I heard they brake a LOT! so many complains on the internet in reviews..

Which ones would u recommend buying?

  • @madedd02 all preference really. The 2000's have the reputation for having a better construction versus the 3000 in which have a slight better crisp sound. I have had them both for a while and I have to say that as long as you run the 3000's hinge closed, you shouldn't have a stress problem on the plastic. go ahead and feel free to get whichever of your choice, these phones won't disappoint !

  • @MikeFrozt thank you you help me a lot.

    I have buy it already!!

  • I am a beginning DJ.

Do i have to buy 2000 or 3000?

  • @TecnoBas Honestly, both headphones have pro Dj level features but since they're affordable, you can start off with either or. the 3000's are a bit more pricey, but I'll say they are both great. check them out at a local retailer and go with what fits your style better, but My vote for you is, get the 2000's first. hope i helped.

  • Awesome video man! Just bought the 2000s myself and compared them to the pioneer hdj 1000s... I personally prefer the stanton 2000s... sound, quality, durability, and price are just down right excellent! Thanks for the video!!!

  • @harrismach5 I'm glad I could help and yes the 2000's are awesome for the price and quality all around.

  • @wexbroadcast very welcome and I concur.

  • do you know anykind of site that transporst this kind of headphones in any country? For example Romania?...pls answer

  • ooou.. why that long jack?? what is it?? i dont understand... really cool headphones.. but what does mean that long jack :/

  • @AlexROXTON it's basically an adapter to use the headphone cord with your ipod or any 3.5 mm jack device, what I did was i went to radioshack and bought a male to male 3.5 cord and shaved two sides of one end of the jack to fit snug in the headphones.

  • Couldnt a regular 3.5 to 3.5 work? Or is the Jack input on the phones different?

  • yep, but you would have to shave the outside plastic/rubber of the headphone jack side to be boxed, otherwise normal round jacks head won't fit. simple customization but very well worth it versus using that big adapter thing with your ipod.

  • Ok, Judging from you, You say the quality is amazing, Does it still give the same output with the 3.5? D:

  • same exact sound no difference. I tried to see if there was a change myself.

  • I have the Pro 2000's and they are amazing.. Better than any Pioneer headphones i've ever used.

  • deadmau5 - I Remember (original mix)

  • hey bro ive bin looking for those headphones now i live in cali round hollywood area do u knw if they have sum in stock around there or like a 50 mile radius?

and wud u consider these or the denon dhp 1000 or 700

  • check online as a best bet, but some best buys carry them and guitar center, also sam ash can be a possible source.

  • now im totally getting the stanton 3000 :)

hey whats the name of the second song? sounds pretty sick...

  • Alex Gopher "handgunds" (dadalife remix)

  • How do they stack up against the beats by dre ones? It seems to me that those are overpriced.

  • hey i wen to guitar center and tried the DJ PRO 3000 and they r awseme so cnfurtable and lgihts and strong

  • @DjBrianProductions hey which guitar center did u go to try those dj pro 3000?

  • Hey thank you very much for the Review! Very nice details! I got one question. I saw you were talking about there are some headphones that are fakes. So, how can you figure out which are the fake ones and which are the original ones? Is there any difference on the structure of the headphones or is just the quality?

    Thanks in advance! ;D

  • aesthetically, it is impossible to tell fakes by pictures, best way is to check the sellers feedback for any negative ones and if there are any complaints in quality or anything like that, then stay away. also make sure is a sort of powerseller, this way they are less likely to sell fake goods. fakes look like reals but sound like poop.

  • Cool, thanks for the answer Mike! I'm from Argentina and I was searching for this headphones, and I just wanted to see a review before buying them. I'll search for a good seller! Thanks once again! ;D

  • how much are they my friend had ones the 2000 i loved it bad that it was stolen after a week

  • about $75 + dependings where you guy them, beware for fakeness though!

  • thanks for the reviews

  • i just got the stanton pro 2000 today..LOVE THEM :)

  • congrats man, I'm glad this review is helping out. when i first came across these headphones i was going crazy on which one to get because they both have such great features, luckily for me my insanity drove me 2 buy both and now i can share my opinion and compare and contrast these to the world.

  • i like the Stanton DJ Pro 3000 Headphones how much were they?

  • it depends where you get em,they usually run up to $100 on ebay or less just make sure they aren't fakes.

  • hi its me again my ears are about 3 inches tall and 1 and 1/2 inches wide, whats the lengths on the dj pro 3000 ?? thanks

  • the 3000's are about 3 inches and a half all around.

  • what about the durability, bass and isolation?and whats your favourite of this two?im not a dj and i dont know much about headphones, but i really want a good heaphone because my previous ones were really crap... is it good compatible to an iPod? how long is the wire?

    -Thanks

  • good bass overall, i like the bass on the 3000's over the 2000's and no bothe headphones come with the jack converter for ipod or other 3.5 jack devices. but like i said i just went to radioshack and got a 3.5 male to male 7 foot cable and shaved one end to fit the headphones and is way better than carrying the "cross" everywhere you go.

  • how much power the 3000 got

  • The 2000's have bigger ear cups. the 3000's power peak is 16 Hz 22 kHz frequency response without artificial bass boost.

You can use 3000 mW of power which means you can drive them as hard as possible without fuzzing out. Of course, it is not really recommended to use them at high sound pressure levels, because on the one hand, the lack of distortion is misleading, on the other hand, your ears will give out long before the headphones do. hope this helps.

  • wish ear cup are biggier 2000 or 3000

  • Can you turn off those LED lights?

  • Yes, there's a small switch under the right ear cup which allows you to turn it on/off

  • I REMEMBER!!!! dope song

  • werd!

  • do you know anything about the headphones ath-m50 by audio technica??if you do then would you know how they compare to these headphones??o yeah and is that the deadmau5 remix or original??

  • the ath-m50 are great set of monitoring/mixing headphones. I have tried them on and mixed a little with them, extremely comfortable and sick design all around. compared to the stantons, I like the bass better on the technicas. overall good choice of headphones if you ask me.

  • yeah my cousin has the ath-m50..i tried them to, they were amazing...im looking for good headphones besides those because he dosent want me jacking his style....would you recommend these??or another set for under 100??(besides the ath-m50)

  • do these headphones rest on top of your ears or around the ears like ur ears r all inside the holes?

  • i would say a little of both if you have lengthy ears, but in my case my whole ear fits snug inside.

  • are the 3000's better then beats by dr dre?

  • Honestly, i have yet to try those out so I can't really judge. now as far as design goes, I think I'd go with the stantons.

    hope this helped.

  • pretty sure the dre h/p's are more style than substance. just like skull candy's, they'd sound good, no doubt about it, but compare them to something in the same price range by sennheiser or akg or audio technica and they'll fall

  • Thanks man:D

  • Hi there!

I just watched your stantons 2000 and 3000 headphones review. I am currently looking for appropriate headphones for myself and thinking of buying the stantons 2000, however I am unsure if they fit on my ears which are pretty big (about 7 cm long:)). Could you give me the dimensions of the stantons 2000 ear cup?

    Many thanks in advance:)

  • the cups are 3 3/4(inches) tall and 3 1/4(inches) wide =]

  • Alex Gopher - Handguns (Dada Life Remix)

  • Yeah man!!! U trully completed my video!!! 10x!!! Now the stanton headphones have a true review. I have a question also about the 3000's: what matherial is the piece between the earcup and the middle big piece witch stand's on u'r head (I don't know how to call it :P)??? it looks skinny and kind of unsecure i guess... Although, they look preetty cool and I guess the're more expencive. NICE VIDEO MAN!!! Cheers!!!

  • word, thanks! ok if it's the piece i was pointing out the i said a lot of people complained about cracking it there, that piece is plastic just like the sony v700 headphones. in my opinion these are the enhanced version of the sony's. but let me know. The only piece that's aluminum are the ear cup shells.

  • Yep, that's the piece... Too bad it's plastic... That's why @ this time the Pioneer's HDJ 2000 have no competition. Neighter on the qualitty and also neighter on the price ;))

  • @SilviuRaulio

Sony MDR V700 & Technics RP-DH1200 ... the best ones.
