@mrstevehartman Pete Best is one that I'm referring to. But there are several others if you go back earlier to the beginning of John Lennon's band (that Paul McCartney and George Harrison joined). The Quarrymen. I believe some of the Quarrymen have reunited. At one point, the lineup was John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Colin Hanton. The lineup years later was John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ken Brown. Rod Davis played with John in the Quarrymen before Paul.

All kidding aside tho, it would be cool if Paul and Ringo could find a " substitute " John and George and go for it, whomever they may be. Kinda like the guys who play J & G in the knockoff group " The Fab Four ". Paul and Ringo are getting on and, what a treat it would be to see The Beatles ( at least 50 % origional ) one last time !!! @mrstevehartman The way I see it is, they're going to bring in other musicians to work on their songs. It would be nice if as many surviving members of the old band would come in to do work on one song. Even if it was just a little talking at the beginning or the end of the track. Or maybe a little backing vocals. Or anything. I kind of look as the Quarrymen, the Silver Beetles, the Beatles, etc. as all being different lineups of the same band. One band, but different lineups. It'd just be nice.
