  • I've ridden since I was four, but I really really admire your courage. Very good idea to practice without the pedals first. It's about 90% confidence and the rest is practice. Well done. Maybe later when you get very skilled, you will like to raise the saddle (a lot).

  • I'm 40 and have not ridden since 1985, and at that time I had gone 2 or 3 years without riding and it took a short while to adjust again as I was a little wobbly etc. Not sure how well I would do now as my balance is a bit crap these days, although I am still the same weight and body shape as in my teens. I am thinking about getting a bike and riding again for pleasure though, but need to be able to transport it in my car to nicer places, where I can ride in clean air & beautiful surroundings.

  • Im 12 and I got a painful cut while attempting to learn how to ride a bike in the park. ._. Im gonna try again this Sunday. :P

  • What an idiot...looks like an asian...haha typcial they're really fucked up. Seriously...only a retard would find it hard to ride a bike...I mean seriously....and when she crashed...how the hell could somone crash doing that? I mean she ran straight into a pole....is she blind? or just fucked in the head...

And Wow she got back on the bike after, wow! I've crashed going down a steep hill, when my handlebars twisted and I couldn't turn and I smashed into a tree, now thats a crash I rode again.

  • @IIproductionsII

Not everyone was priviledged enough to HAVE a bike as achild to LEARN when it doesnt hurt to fall off.

Balancing on 2 wheels is a LEARNED skill. and ususally when you are an adult and cant do it, you are too scared to learn how because you are embarrased and scared of being hurt. Adult bones break easier than a child's. Therefore I think ANY adult wiling to learn deserves encouragement, and congratulation for deciding to take that leap.

  • @thebluebell89 Oh please, bike riding is one of the easiest things to do.

  • @IIproductionsII So I'm dumbass because at 22, I am getting my first bike on monday? Since my family could never afford one?

I hope you never find yourself in a position of disadvantage. Given your attitude.

  • @thebluebell89 Please state where I called you a dumbass.

  • @thebluebell89 Good for you bluebell! And to hell with that bozzo who insulted you, you're a star!

  • @IIproductionsII - It is when you've been doing it since you were 5, but when you reach maturity without ever getting on a bike, it's like learning a foreign language.

Google "Egocentric" while you're at it.

  • @thebluebell89 i hear ya. i'm 24 and never learned to ride a bike as a kid. Used to love being on my bike with training wheels as a 4 yr old but then i had a bad fall when taking the training wheels off and refused to ride for the rest of my childhood. i'm 24 now and feel embarrassed that i never learned. i think im gonna make it my new years resolution to learn in 2012!

  • @IIproductionsII You're a prick, a disgrace to humanity

  • im 10 just learned yay

  • I am re-learning at 32... just bought a bike 2 days ago and I love it (as long as there's no curbs, people, or traffic around, hah) It'll be awhile before I can bike like a pro but it just takes practice.

  • @kaote hey, how's that going so far? I'm 27 and I just got mine too but I'm not happy about it. Long story cut short, my mother (yes, not embarrassed to say so) bought it for me and it was bulky, couldn't refund but I could only exchange. Took a foldable one instead with those gears, whatever nonsense (all I wanted was a simple vintage bike!) Got to hate modernization for that..ha, I tried cycling in the dark (yes, incognito) but its been zig zagging away hm..its terribly heavy too

  • MY BOYFRIEND JUST GOT ME A BIKE SINCE I JOINED THE GYM...THOUGHT 'TWAS A GUD IDEA TO STAY FIT, AM 29 I HAVE TO LEARN ALL OVER THOUGH .WAS A BIT SHY GOING AROUND MY NEIGHBORHOOD ,AFTER SEEING UR COURAGE AT 50 (30:))ACTUALLY AM ON MY WAY OUT NOW. IT NEVER TOO LATE...THANKS FOR UR VIDEO

  • i'm 39, and RElearning to ride, this makes me feel better. good job!!!!!!!!!! ( btw if you wait long eanough you CAN forget how to ride a bike lol)

  • I wouldn't have put her at 50, if you hadn't told me...

  • I am 12 and dunno how to ride so I feel better lol

  • wow. i was 6 before i got my training wheels off.

  • At what point was she "learning" to ride a bike? Was there a video before this cause there isn't much more to bike riding than what she is doing. Minus the crash ofcourse.

  • @Infamous2000bklyn Um, yes there is, eg connering correctly, peddle up on the inside of corners, hand signalling whilst turning, using brakes correctly (the front brake), using correct peddling cadence, having the seat at the right height. She is doing well for a beginner yes, but there is more to riding a bike.

  • You did great!

  • She isn't learning! She already knows how!

  • Yep, cycling makes you feel younger DAMN STRAIGHT ;)

  • haha the music in the end!

    bravo :)

  • @mne202001 ohhh, i'm sorry..

  • 1. cost of a cheap helmet : 30 $ cost of broken head : too much

    2. hahaha how did she manage to hit the only lamp post ? is she blind ? is the steering of the bike broken ? are the brakes working ? is she just dumb ?

  • Am 45 and just got my first bike 3 weeks ago, And i took for spin around the block where i live just today, And found that bike kept going all over the place like as if diding have control of it.

  • i am 47 and starting to balance! i am checking the net to help me give courage ...& finally hope that one day, i too, can ride one! ....

  • @mne202001 I am 34 and just learned this week. Totally go for it!

  • @shimmerngspirit is it easy?

  • @Prejudice54 It took some practice but a month later I can ride to the park , the library and the train station over a mile away. Its nice:) It took a couple of weeks of consistent practice to get the hang of it.

  • Woot! You should be so proud of yourself!

  • Woot!!!! Good for you learning to ride at 50. I am in my 30s and am learning too:) Thanks for posting this. I am glad that I am not alone.

  • Woot!!!!! I am now learning in my 30's and this is so nice to see that I am not alone. Thanks so much for posting this:)

  • Good job! :) I just learned today and im 12! We can party together lol

  • 50 age???-30age???

  • ok now whats left is bunnyhop and you're good to go

  • seat is to low.....thats great!she looks 13 years old.ha.never to old to bike, good for you.

  • How sad.......

The only humane thing to do there would have been to wait till she is pedaling away from you and not looking. Then you could have shot her in the back of the head. She would have died painlessly and in a happy state. And you could have saved yourself from having to put up with a retard that went 50 years without knowing how to ride a bike.

Sirously, you should just put her out of her misery.

  • @BholeViolater What is wrong with someone who wants to learn something new no matter how old......?? No one was born with bicycle riding ability, people learned different stages of their lives. Please stop such rude remarks.

  • that is one sad thing, 50 years, never biked....

  • @joshmoss108 SO WHAT if someone is learning how to ride at 50 yrs old? everyone is not born to learn everything at the same time ASSHOLE so get off your little stupid high horse because there are people born with disabilities where they can't ride a bike at all!!!!!!! GROW UP because it's people like you that make other people not wanna learn JERK

  • @PopCulture20 Get off the crack celeb head, SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH

  • im buying a bmx off a friend and i dont even know how to ride but im hoping to learn can anybody give me any tips?

  • I learned to ride my bike at age 9 by just balancing on the seat, without even moving the bike. If i stayed up i would start to peddle the tiniest bit forward and then lose my balance and start over again. it took maybe a week to learn but i didnt do it everyday.

  • i have to warn people about my experience:

i am 48 now and tried to use the trick of taking the pedals off and lowering the seat so i could learn to balance. but when i got on, and tried it, the seat was not low enough, i was on my tip toes, and the seat was digging into my inner thighs/groin,i was only only the bike about 3 minutes.

as a result i got a pinched nerve in my left leg that sent me to the emergency room a few days later because the pain felt so bad. cont....

  • best looking 50 year old, ever!

  • her seat is a little low but I guess it doesn't hurt if she is just learning, feels safer lower I guess.

  • What? The seat is WAY too low. It's not safer and it's painful to watch

  • That's awesome you go girl I'm 19 and learning :D I have training wheels though o.o

  • it's much easier without training wheels. the main thing is figuring out how to stop and get off when you are learning haha, but yeah good for you for learning!

  • @Retr0xRainb0w how is it? i find it difficult when i am about to get on the bike :/

    i'm losing my balance.

  • Buahahahhaha

  • i dont know how to swim either =3

  • ERm, she has an OFF and THEN removes her helmet???

    ERRRRRRRRMMMMMMMMMMM? lol

  • I noticed u were looking down @ the wheel. something I used to do too... i learned when i was 12 i think... and is great. my son doesn't know how to ride so im on that challenge now.. and i have to teach my 2yr old too. oh so much in one day... and on top of that.. i have another challenge for my self.. learning to swim lol i know right. so many at once... Do you know how to swim. I think ppl that can do one.. can't the other, but will see

keep on practicing. you were great!!

  • yayyy !!!! at the age of 23 ..i finally got it !!!

    thanks for inspiration . :-)

though still I fall down when make turns , bruises on legs but all I need is lil more practice. :-)

  • Bravo girl !!!!

  • My older son is 6 yrs can who can ride a bike like a pro . he got his friend's bike, and start paddling..thats it. in fewminutes, without any help at all.and look at me, i cannot ride a bike !!! bcz i never learned when i was a child now i really miss this fun . i bought bike for me but i dont have any partner to help me. and its like impossible to learn alone. my husband always makes funof me.i will appreciate if you tell me how to learned and how long it took you time to ride like this.

  • oh, how encouraging you are!!! It was because of nasty people like you that I avoided trying to learn to ride a bike all my life. Now I am 49, and I have finally got enough nerve to try it, no matter how much nasty comments and laughter I know I will get. I just hope that when you try something new, IF YOU HAVE THE GUTS, that you will not any any support from anybody!!! :-P

  • this video is a big bull...t!

  • 2nd song's far more fitting

"I,m warmand caring and would like to meet girls or guys 14 to 16 1946 is my street addy, not my age lol. I,m 15" -from his profile.

  • This is a hilarious video! I especially like the sound effects and music, very nice. The lady is cute too :)

  • I guess that means there is hope for a 43yo fat man to learn to ride.

  • hey, how did you know about me and what i am doing? who told you anyway?

  • I am the worlds laziest detective, I find out things I am not looking for. Imagine what I could do If I put effort into it.

  • tq for the inspiration for keep on learning at any ages...

  • Yay! I'm 23 and just now learning, this makes me feel alot better.

  • Here's what helped me. Found a bike with a seat low enough to stand flat footed on the bike. This overcame my fears of falling since I could just stand up if I lost my balance. Took off the pedals and walked around on the bike like a scooter till I got my balance with longer and longer steps and push offs. This video was the day I put the pedals back on. Good Luck!

  • You should include the information in the above reply in your video's description as well. You're definitely not alone in being a late bloomer on a bicycle. I got back on a bicycle after 21 years, and now my wife, who's also 50 and never learned to ride as a child, wants to learn so she can ride with me.

  • Good job, you make it look easy. :)
