  • To this day an internet fave, but you gotta pause and repeat or go away about one minute and ten seconds in.

  • @MidiPunk Nice of you to say...thanks Punk...!

  • "Ray Stevens - Everything Is Beautiful" is the perfect accompaniment.

Before your time, I know. Things were different back then.

  • @MidiPunk Almost nothing is before my time these days...lol...Ray Stevens ?...will have to google Midi...ignorant me...

  • Gosh! That was goooood

  • @OscarTurner Thank you so much Oscar...I am replying as this cos my computer does this on automatic...poems and xyz are one and same...cheers...

  • Nothing changes. What was the sixties slogan: make love not war?

  • @alleiaegeria Another was...Make Tea not War. lol

  • Ahh..that was so intense. Deep and kinda sad.

    Peace

  • @pennysayspeace Not to mention dangerous...! Thanks for watching..

  • The threat of war will never cease as long as there is profit and power to be gained, as long as a single bud of beauty still remains.

  • @Perroquet51 Oh P...how true...we evolve not one inch or meter...we are horrible really aren't we...us humans...with a few exceptions...like yourself...;)

  • @SugarCandyCherryKiss Thans for that Sugar Candy...sweet of you...sorry, no pun intended...k

  • I think YouTube ate my comment... If I tell you how great your voice, style, and flowers are twice, I meant it. Glad we bumped into each other. Slan!

  • @MidiPunk Thanks so much MidiPunk... It actually only did go up once...YT does that sometimes...Slan !

  • I have to say...some do not like Brahms...but I LOVE this violin concerto and often play it...

  • Just when I thought this was going to be a beautiful film about spring and happiness. . . . . . .you have yet to disappoint me with your poetic intensity. Sad that our peace of mind is interrupted by reality. I too have a similar video. . . . . -Steve-

  • @OceanTownPictures Thanks for BOTH your responses..Stevie Boy...

  • @Poemsapennyeach Growing up, all of my relatives called me Stevie. My grandmother continued to call me that until the day she died. (we shared the same birthday) I always took it as a sign of endearment. -Steve-

  • @OceanTownPictures And so it was in my case...haha....krickles(what some of my family call me)

  • If only! Things are bursting in colourful shades and song on my allotment now. For me your meditation is a vivid, in your face, essence-sketch of the eternal conflict between Oberon and Titania!

  • @Caspar33 Thank you very much for watching Casper...nice way of putting it...Oberon and Titania...

  • @Poemsapennyeach Have a look at their first scene in the play again - you'll see what I mean.

  • @Caspar33 Ok...will do...thanks...

  • Make flowers not war. Superior garden!

  • @longhairred Indeed Red...Indeed ...thanks again for dropping by...xk

  • omg, I love it! Could be a page out of my own diary on my day off... interrupted by Lucy! The bitch. This was very well done, dear. Thanks for sending. :)

  • @sonofwalt Thanks for watching Son of Walt...

  • The pwoblem with wine wings is that theiw stains on wooden fuwnituwe just can't be washed out...[I'm wealy sowwy I just coudn't wesist that] because once again BWILLIANT!

  • @gypsyjazzer Ugh...hope your head has cleared by 2mor....ha ! tanx..Your comment came up twice the first one has been marked as Spam...for some reason..???

  • War begins at home.

  • @Hellishcrusade Sorry about that...keep trying...after all those centuries...you will get there eventually....

  • Wow.

I can relate to the line - "We have order in our veins, and beauty at our core".

It got me thinking that war is never really against another country, but is about the ones who do not wish to fight - because they can see the truth behind their leader's lies - against the ones who do, and cannot see...or do not want to.

The ones with 'wine wings' against the ones with 'lager wings'

Educate the squaddies, because it is they who fight wars.

  • @Hellishcrusade In all fairness Hell...I do not think think the squaddies press Nuclear Buttons....

Did you mean...you have order in your veins and beauty at your core...sounds interesting... ? ;)

  • @Poemsapennyeach - It'll never happen - Wars are still reliant on kids with hate in their veins.

  • Flowers are intelligent , unlike War.

  • @tanx2u2 I agree...tanx Tanx

  • You speak from my heart as well..

the world is wonderful but some of us tend to step on it constantly..what a shame!

    Thanks for this reminding us!

  • @steffproductions Aw thanks Steff.....we can only hope...

  • You have a beautiful garden. Is it any wonder when the wider world is so threatened that we retreat into our gardens. Nature sure has to struggle with what we chuck at it (oil slicks being topical at the moment) but in the end i like to think that nature will prevail. Great video, great collage of images....and great garden! Thanks

  • @andrewnorris1 Thanks a lot Andrew...yes, my garden has its moments...and then looses the plot ..oops pun there....from time to time...lot of work checking rogue aspects of nature...It's not only humans that have rogues...as you know..

  • beautiful contrast and flowers for war anytime

  • @77nova454 silly me I meant flowers before war.

  • @77nova454 Knew what you meant...did not even notice mistake till you pointed it out..!

  • @77nova454 Thank you 77

  • Very well done... thumbs up!

  • @DavidRandallCurtis Thanks very much David.

  • Very well done. Graffiti here is just not the same as over there. It's all about me I stuff, not society and politics. In my day I used to spray and I always put up images that where affecting people I know not some fancy looking name.

  • @AxeMoose Yes...it is great graffiti Moose

  • thank you

  • @LaurenzoMierendo Thank you for watching Laurenzo

  • a nice experience, this, in word and visuals!!!

  • @tinySpectacle Thanks very much Tiny...

  • And still people don't understand why war is not powerful and strong and heroic, but rather ugly and mean and destructive. Throughout the years, the lies take hold and the truth keeps getting buried. Sometimes I wonder about our collective intelligence - or it's lack. Wonderful, thought provoking video.

  • @thizizliz I could not agree more Liz...thanks for watching..

  • I like the layering of sound and image in this piece and yes, I, too would change war for those things. Nice work.

  • @TheAeolianHarp Thanks for watching...Love the Lee Miller you put up.

  • I would change war for all those good things, too ... a very fine piece.

  • @liz1060 Indeed...and I Liz...thanks for watching..

  • Wonderful. Impressive and great. I want to change war for parties-----and those other good things. Let's do it.

  • @Idlinfarm Thanks Ida...yes...let's do it...!!
