  • Hey dude, may I ask what's so good about Wii Linux? Is it better than the Wii internet browser, can it do more things, does it have wifi, so I don't have to connect my wii to the internet box? Thats it... Thank you.

  • there was no big deal about installing it.... i just made the video to prove that it could be done

  • @caylan200 You can use it as a computer - Run different apps or even make it into a server!

  • Comment removed

  • the way the files are configured you need the USB drive too.

but if you are good at coding then feel free to download the source and edit it.... but the files the would be on the usb need to be in a separate partition of the SD card... so i would just recommend using a USD drive and SD card

  • well i used boot it and a xwhiite.img on a flash drive and it worked fine but i think im done fucking with it anyway beacuse i cant manage to find any way to get any linux to work with the built in wifi adapter thingy i know theirs a way to do it but im not smart enough to do it so i think im done with it anyway

  • do u have to use the usb thing? need help

  • just wondering could i use my mp3

and stick it in the port or could i have all the files on an sd card plz type back

  • yes you can use an mp3 player but to put everytihng on the sd card you need to edit the installer files

  • New MINI Kernel in GC-Lunix web wiki says it has the wi fi daughter card support (the preinstalled internal one)

  • i heard this was a debian based linux. if this is true, can i just do a sudo apt-get command and install a gui?

  • OK I have Linux on the Wii but I have no idea what to do next. Like how do I put an operating system into my wii?
