  • what kind of music is it that's played at 2:30 to 3:40? Would be greatful if some one could tell me where to find the music to this vid!

  • @Kibbeg

The music you are asking about, starting @2:30 to 3:40 is from ethinic Kunama traditional classical music by Dehab Fatinga, a veteran of Eritrean libeation struggle & national popular Eritrean star.

You can find the ethnic Kunama songs in CD, in any Eritrean music shop or search the Internet for For More information about Ethnic Kunam Music.

  • Erteria did you know that you and ethiopia where one people one nation during the Aksum empire?

  • @joshuaethiopia Aksum was an empire of its own which included parts of yemen and sudan, nothing to with Ethiopia. Aksumites no longer exist. Eritreans are Eritreans, the only people we consider our people.

  • @TheEritrean the Kindom of Aksum included parts of Ethiopia Down far as Rash-Dashin and also you got to remember the obliges in Aksum

  • @joshuaethiopia You don't know who the people were. Again, Askumite empire also included parts of Yemen and Sudan but I don't see you Ethiopians obsessing over them. There are Obelisks in Eritrea in the ancient cities of Matara and Qoahito. Eritreans live in the present, we have better things to worry about. I suggest you do the same.

  • @lulaeritrean

    Lula,

You need to realize the wicked sadists mindset believing in "some people's misery is other's people's treasure".

Therefore, you need to know there will always be some people who have no interest in the good will & well being of the people.

    Your good will is appriciated.

  • Your collections of theories is arguable but at least i give you credit for giving an idea of how we Eritrean are comprised.

  • Shabia making up their own story LMFAO

  • Look at the "Old Testament" of your Bible & find the "Erythrean Sea", where Mosses cried, "LET MY PEOPLE GO" and crossed the Erythrean sea to liberate his Jews people from Egyptian slavery. The Eritrean's who conquered this sea are called "Bahre Negasi", king of the sea.

  • Bahre.... stop lying, we never conquered a sea called bahre negasi that is lie of some tigrinya speaking people like you, the name Eritrea comes from Greece (Eritria) that city still exist in southern part of Athena Greece Capital City. you as habesh your history and culture is tigray history plus the King Negash was Tigrian national he was mentioned in our holly bible. I don't mix politic and history I am not emotional and liar like you. or like shaebia who fraud history and everything.

  • @MrHagad84

Too bad you can NOT read & comprehend the writing on the wall.

Where did you see me writing we "conquered a sea called bahre negasi"?

It's gratifying to know, the enemies of Eritrea are as retarded as you.

But, if you have question about "Periplus of the Erythraean Sea"

Call Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia & TELL them they are wrong.

Wikedepia, the Old Testament & the authors of "Periplus of the Erythraean Sea" are NOT shabia.

    Are they?

  • Bahre... you stop lying. yesterday was my first comment in youtube and you was the first to reply to my comment by saying quote" you are agame" quote. we never met we don't know each other, you create lie because I have different view and I expose shaebia regime, I am a professional activist I will not go to low level of debate with you, I don't have problem with any nation, any one who have problem with whole nation he/she is mentally is not fit for debate.

  • While Europeans massacred each other for 3000 years, since the Roman empire's crusaders in vicious cycles to the end of WWII, Eritreans have been living in harmony for thousands of years, intermingling among each other with traditional values, cultural heritage & pride, peacefully meeting in villages, mosques & churches, resolving their difference peacefully, for mutual benefit.

  • Bahre...... all the reference you mention is based on lie like shaebia, don't mix history with politic, leave your emotions and wishes and talk true.

  • This is the Eritrea, your mother forgot to tell you about & your master's refused to admit, until the Eritreans forced the world, to succumb to Eritrean's will & determination, acknowledging, THE INDEPENDENCE OF ERITREA.

  • @BahreNeGash ....uuuuuuuuuu plz don't blame mskineyti adey weriduwa,..lol..about the rest of ur comment however, ohh my god I have never read anything so true and powerful like this..Thanks God, I am Eritrean!!!!!!!

  • @ThePodarek

While I appricaited your compliment, I'm not sure what you are refering to when you said,,, "uuuuuuuuuu plz don't blame mskineyti adey weriduwa"?

  • @BahreNeGash I can't exactly remember, why I said "UUU, don't blame adey weriduwa", I remember however, that i was trying to make a lighthearted humor, don't worry my intentions were not bad. Thanks for the uploads and Keep it up bro/sis

  • @ThePodarek

Hey, We have been TOGATHER, through thick & thin.

Nothing is going to break us apart.

Therefore, lighten up, we are entitled to make fun of each other, for the hell of it,,,

  • Periplus of the Erythraean Sea

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Names, routes and locations of the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea, describing navigation and trading opportunities from Roman Egyptian ports like Berenice along the coast of the Red Sea, and others along Northeast Africa and India. The text has been ascribed to different dates between the 1st and 3rd centuries AD, but a mid-1st century date is now the most commonly accepted.

  • Although the author is unknown, it is clearly a firsthand description by someone familiar with the area and is nearly unique in providing accurate insights into what the ancient world knew about the lands around the Indian Ocean.

  • Although Erythraean Sea (Greek: Ἐρυθρά Θάλασσα) literally means "Red Sea", to the Greeks it included the Indian Ocean and the Persian Gulf.

  • cool video 5*

  • THUGLIFE

  • I love Tigre!!!!! ash ash ash ash!!!

  • I love kunama song!!!!

  • I've seen your comments about habesha people, it seems like you hate them or whatever. Where are you from?

  • cushiticmale is a confused somali, don't take him serious

  • "The oldest written source about the territory, currently known as Eritrea is the chronicled expedition launched to the fabled Punt (or "Ta Netjeru," meaning land of the Gods) by the Ancient Egyptians in the 25th century BC under Pharao Sahure." Egypt State Information Center

  • hehe the Land of Punt was in the Horn of Africa, in Modern day Somalian Region of Puntland.... and northern eritrea was part of the Beja kingdoms close to Cush.. get ur facts right brah

  • where was it then?puntland in somalia?hahahahahahahahaha

  • @sirwallaby fool, stop steeling history that doesn't belong to u , puntland is in somalia . i challange u if u know what the name puntland means ?????

  • @sirwallaby land of punt is somalia you idiot, look up ancient paintings in somalia on youtube and see they paintings are similar to those found in egypt

  • @sirwallaby somalis were in the ethiopia-eritrea region before moving down 2 somalia FYI

  • Punt land is not in Eritrea. Sorry but that's a fact.

  • so if land of punt is not in eritrea why is there almost 60,000 artifacts in the middle of eritrea including many ancient egyption pots and logs of scent traded, why is the capital of land of punt in central of eritrea (qohioto)???while nothing under djbouti discovered is older than 1500 yrs old which is mainly persian???check your fact first buddy.

  • It's not there. Save me your pride moment.

  • its not there????loool where is it then exactly???what was the capital of land of punt???you dont have one proof that land of punt was in somalia, the oldest artifacts you got is from the persians merely 2000 years ago.

  • You bitches are Ethiopians.

  • lol you mad now because you cant back your argument???its understandable one day if you get to travel to eritrea you will see it infront of ur eyes.looool

  • Actually, Punt is set to be in Sudan not Eritrea. Or Somalia or Some other place but not Eritrea.

  • Where is the proof?where is the capital?i dont know how your archology works buddy but where there is artifacts thats where the proof is,60,000 of them with the ancient capital and its port, lol

  • that's because it was brought there by Sudanese people or Ethiopians or Somalis.

But not Eritreans, eritreans are small in numbers and they are ape like humans.

  • wow is that how inferior you feel to eritreans????i think im dealing with a hater here..the people of erth are the land of the ancient people maybe you should do few research before you start spewing your verbal nonsense here.

  • It's EARTH not erth! you dumbfuck.

    Spewing my verbal nonsense?

You should consider grammar school!, seriously!

  • bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha earth?erth as in erthrea you dumb idiot now i bet you will remove your comment..let me take a screen shot before you do that so i can have a record on the dumbest reply ive seen in my life from the dumbest person...erth-rea,erth means people of the red land rea=sea...so erthrea the sea of the red land people hehehehehe dumb idiot.you can tell when someone is losing an argument they tend to pick on grammers and spelling but i never expected this bahahahahahahahaha.

  • ok so you tell me where is puntland and where was its capital??lol

  • Puntlands capital is called Boosaaso... and its at the Tip of the Horn of Africa.....

  • @sirwallaby Ancient puntites were NOT semitic speaking tigrinya

  • remember there was a time without borders.

we are all a mix of something. sharing is the only way out of a miserable boring life.

    celebrate ALL humanity, move forward,

    Peace to you all.

  • dont forget the Afar people of DANIKIL

  • The afar people of dankil or the adali's are the most ancient eritreans together with the kunama's...the afari tigether with the saho's are the desandants of the earliest land of punt people..they are as much as eritrean as anyone else....their land stretched from djbouti all the way close to the border of sudan along the coast....together with the kunama's they are considered the ancient people of eritrea.

  • It is no lie and is supported by genetic evidence, also yes the habeshat did not only penetrate into the highlands of ethiopia but are the ancestors of all habesha people so this includes amhara and tigrignyas as well. Evidence can be found in books and in genetic and linguistic evidence. I can forward you studies if you want

  • you forgot to include habeshat migration from yemen..

  • habeshat migrated to the highland of ethiopia not eritrea, habeshat tribe occupied ethiopia agazians moved to eritrea not habeshat.

  • all evidence proving that a tribe called habashat that was different than those on the other side of the redsea is all fabricated and lies.

  • what evidence do u have for the migration of a small tribe called habashat.

  • The alhabshat tribe a prominent tribe among other semite tribes in the sabean time in yemen, they migrated to the horn as they were pushed by other semite tribes and their land started to be unfertile,You dont know the history of the habshat migration to ethiopia?u must be blind its all over books, records and recollections...the best desandants language and physical appearence can still be seen by the harari people in ethiopia as harari is considered a sabean language not ge'ez.

  • ofcourse today we know that the agaz or tigre are desandants of sabteca son of kush fifth son who is the son of ham.ofcourse if u were eritrean u would know that but a bantu ape like u only lineage is fufu the great ape ancestor.Dont waste my time our history is there from the scriptures of ancient babel to the walls of ancient egyptions to the records of arab writers, who defeated the assyrians and saved juraslem jews in 700bc?it was the A.E with their ONLY allies the tigre.now get out of here.

  • they were known as part of the sumerians, once the assyrians annexed babel and retook it after defeating the "tigre" people as they were known they allowed them to stay for few hundred years but slowly they moved east and then south from iraq where they settled in yemen before crossing into eritea between 2000bc and 1000bc,as they moved they were labeleed "agee-zays" by themselfs because of their nomadic movement till they settled in yemen and cross in eritrea....

  • wow all that shit and you still got it wrong!! GE'EZ is a fucking ALPHABET lmao!! WHAT IS THIS ALPHABET BASED OFF OF lmao!! DONT WANT TO ADMIT IT DO YOU!! my theory now is a FACT!!

  • Moron stupid bantu idiot..geez is the name for the language...the writing you talking about is called "fidal" or "fidal lita" ,now stop embarrsing yourself and go back to your tree.

  • Sirwllaby: Are you African? What is the Race of the Sphinx in Gizeh/Egypt? Which EastAfrican can claim the features of the Sphinx? What is your Race? You talk about Bantu being stupid?

  • The race of the ancient egyptions is myzrami's they were completely diffrent race to anything todate, the closest people to them are the beja especially the bisharin beja...they have melted and the closest you will get todate to ancient egyptions are inhabitants of the qena/asyeut/luxor and its surrounding...im proud who i am,im eritrean and we never try to claim to be ancient egyptions because all they are now is dust,we are living and walking and our sphinx is who you see in these videos.

  • one more thing..next time you try argue with your afrocentric garbage make sure you go to your usual places and argue with the modern egyptions, dont come around our video's and try to lay out your garbage insecure beliefs because you will look like a fool in here, just go away you are worthless in here to us.

  • Sirwallaby: You are European. Never will Eritrean Hate Afrocentricism cuz it speaks for them. Never will an Eritean tell other African they are "Apes"; such words are from European/Arabs. You said Bantus are Ape's (you Lie). Bantus ruled the World; the Sphinx is Bantu like Eritrean & all African. Phyramids are in West with largest river Nile. You have NOThing to do with above video or Africa. European/Arabs will never divide Africa. We know your tricks of divide & conquer. God bless Africa.

  • HAHAHAHA what ever makes you happy.

  • yes you are right im a eritrean i agree with you eritreans will never use these words atleast in eritrea diversty is respected because thats what the eritrean nation is diverse to deny the respect for others mean the end of civilazation and the start of wars

  • Eritrea is a beautiful country rich in culture & ancient history what many ppl. don't know. It is proved that the fabled Land of Punt or Gods Land was in the area of Eritrea due to much evidence...Peace & Love

  • Eritreans today are a product of BANTU SLAVES and ARAB bloodline. the HABESHA people might have CREATED THEY RE OWN LANGUAGE but they re original understanding during the arab slave trade was SWAHILI. and it is a fact HABESHA PEOPLE speak Ge'ez which is derived from Arabic =D the original people of east africa are the Bantus who migrated south from the nile valley.

  • loool the bantu originated from apes....the only people that inhabit east africa long ago mightve been the sans but no way oygmies resided in east africa....MUCH LOVE TO THE CUSHTIC AND NILOTIC TRIBES THE PRIDE OF EAST AFRICA.

  • where the fuck do you think you ORIGINATED from NIGGER!! your not even FULL BLACK!! YOUR A HALF BREED! your a HALF ARAB AND HALF BANTU you fucking MUTT!! you dont even know you know you HISTORY!! why is habesha ALPHABET IS BASED OFF THE ARABIC? huh maybe cause of the arab slave trade you sorry son of a bitch. =D

  • Thats why i hate morons like this coming to our video's and making fool out of themselves...hahahahaha our alphabet is from arabic?half arab?hahahahaha i think you need more reading before you hit it with me.

  • Ge'ez what is that!! what is GE'EZ got damn uncle tom muthafucka WHAT IS IT!! explain to the world what the fuck GE'EZ is.

  • ge'ez is a word derived from agaz..or aga'ez or aga3ez..aga'ez means nomads and was labelled to a group of nomadic people who moved from iraq after they invaded iraq babel with the help of the 12th dynasty egypt..upon the invasion the people of aga3z were known as the xasa and were considered to be close to the canaanites kins but they adopted the ancient semitic tongue, then they were called the tigre or te'3ra by the jurds for their warrior style courage and named the river tigris...at that ...

  • But you cannot deny that 3 East African nations ( Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia) are more of a mixture between Arabs and Africans.

Though Western Africans drifted further away from Egypt, they seem to have retained more customs compared to the East Africans above.

I read that Wallis Budge believed the Egyptians had an African shamanic tradition. The same tradition permeates throughout Sub Saharan Africa.

    Contd....

  • Contd....

The 3 Countries, are basically Christian/Arab states. Not that other African nations aren't but the point is, Western Religions has done more eradicated indigenous practices in this places compared to Western/Central/Southern Africa.

Sudan is an interesting country where Northern Sudan is basically an Arab State, while Southern Sudan though Christian, for the most part has elements of indigenous African practice.

  • i think you are mistaken here..how is north sudan arabs?other than the 2 arab tribes the rest are african are you telling me the fur are arabs?lol the arab only existed for the last 2400 years while in eritrea for example most of the 80,000 historic artifacts dates back to 3000bc at the earliest..i know eritrea and somalia are not arab states but might had an arab influence through out their history through trade or migrations and subsaharan africans have nothing to do with north east africa.

  • I do not necessarily mean ethnicity but rather mindset. The power structure in Sudan(which is in the north) considers itself Arab.

There is evidence as far as Dogon and the Yoruba in West Africa that have customs related to the Egyptians.

Somalia is closer to Egypt than the Dogon/Yorubas people yet the latter appears to have more in common culturally with Ancient Egypt.

  • ebertnroeper: North Sudan consider themselves African. Since Arabs/European enslave them, some will ofcourse want to become Arabs/European. Its the same everwhere: Once (100yrs) most AfricanAmerican didn't want to be AFrican. In Brazil, Carribean, etc same story. As Sudan learn her History, that African ruled the world, such inferior feeling will quickly go away. Who can look at the Sphinx in Gizeh/Egypt and say He/She is not African? Phyramids in are in WestAfrica. "sirwallaby is European !!!"

  • sirwallaby: You don't know Africa. You are NOT an AFrican. Some of you come on these forums to confuse African. You will never again make African fight each other. Is the Sphinx NOT a Bantu? Who do the Sphinx look like?

  • bahahahahahahaha the descandants of myzriams are now bantu bahahaqhahahahahaha i cant stop laughing looooooooooool if you really want to know who the ancient egyptions really are maybe you should read what they had to say regarding the "pygmies" ancestors of yours.lol that is the funniest thing i have ever seen in youtube bantu=ancient egyptions bahahahahahaha.looooool

  • the 3 countries you mentioned are in a way mixture of some semitic people yes not neccassary arabs..the eritrean are agazian who were already mixed with the assyrians and other semtic race almost 4000 years ago but are a hamitic based origin, the ethiopians are mixtures of sabean semites and agaw and oromo population, while somali mixture came more recent especailly if you look at tribes like the isaaq and darood.

  • lmao GE'EZ IS AN ALPHABET YOU FUCKING IDIOT got damn YOUR OWN PEOPLE BUILT WEBSITES regarding this LMAO!! YOU ARE A COMPLETE FOOL anybody to agree with what you have to say is an a complete imbecile too. your LYING TO MAKE YOUR PEOPLE FEEL AS IF THEY HAVE A PLACE IN THE WORLD lmao fucking idiot. YOUR ENTIRE CULTURE IS BUILT AROUND arab CULTURE YOU FUCKING UNCLE TOM lmao!!

  • Hahahaha just stick with proving ancient egypt was your ancestors you insecure afrocentric moron..watch the video again thats how history look at it.

  • were INSECURE it is you WHO IS AFRAID TO ADMIT THAT YOU ARE PART OF THE ARAB FAMILY your afraid TO ADMIT THAT YOU ARE MUTT RACE OF BANTU AND ARAB!! your nothing your scum of the earth nobody cares about you over there if you got nuked nobody would give a two clicks in your direction nobody of the habesha race has came out to the world and effected as much as us BLACKS HAVE DONE!! from cultural changing to political views WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? NOTHING AT ALL

  • very interesting

  • Thank you so much for putting this out! This is very indicative of the fact that Eritrea has its own history contrary to what others may want us to think. I seriously commend you for this bro. Much love to you and my Eri people:-)

  • I love this clip. As an Ethiopian, I felt good to see that there are Eritrean out there who focus on the historical facts that the two peoples share...

It is sad that most people are stuck in what happened after the 19th century. Instead of our shared glamorous history, we focused on the wrong things and we allowed colonizers to write our history. Hope our gandchildren will do better.

  • I love the music.

  • Squeky, Excellent Job,

You are a very facinating Eritrean & everytime, you never fail to amaze me.

Proud to call you my Eritrean brother.

Thank you for representing my homeland with eternal facts & graceful colors.

I enjoy watching all of your videos. Kee it coming,,, Thank you.

  • The land of punt was known for Frankincense and Myrrh. Somalia has both of those and still sells them. Show me natural proofs, not man made ones.

  • The Puntites themselves also sailed to Egypt and their products, fauna and flora

ecologically coincide with northern Eritrea/Ethiopia and east-north-east Sudan. This identification

is supported by references in ancient egypt to the rain on the Mountains of Punt draining into the Nile flood

which thus excludes an identification of Punt in Somalia as has sometimes been suggested.

  • there has been some debate about the origin and location of the land of Punt. Most theories that locate Punt in Jordan,Sinai,Lebanon,of southern Arabia have been discarded. The most likely place according to Kenneath Kitchen is northern Eritrea/Ethiopia and east-north-east Sudan. One vital evidence that locates Punt within this vicinity is teff being found in 5th dyansty pyramid bricks. Teff only grows within Eritrea/Ethiopia and not within Southern Arabia,Lebanonor Jordan.see egyptsearchdotcom

  • lol when land of punt was trading with ancient egyptions you ethiopians were still monkeys on a tree..can you tell me what kingdon you had at 2000bc?lol a banana kindom.lol

  • lol you say something and ancient artifacts from matara, qohioto adula empire say something else...you can blapp all you want and u dont hurt my feelings you dont know about these tribes you talking about the nara are the latter ruler of kush the hedarebs are the closest kin to the ancient egyptions and founders of kush when you think of meroe its in tabdawi but dont expect an ethiopian who till 300ad spoke and wrote in yemeni sabean to understand u should go back to hadrameut where u came from.

  • how could it be in somalia when 1,000 artifacts from the old and middle kingdom in ancient egypt has been discovered in eritrea while not one is discovered in somalia...who is making up stuff show me one site or proof that its in somalia without the "guessing" game.

  • No you're wrong hundreds of ancient artifacts were found in somalia, the archeological process was halted because somalia is not pretty tourist friendly right about know. There is alot of evidence claiming that punt might be in somalia, one of the being hafun is the ancient trading center of opone in which hundreds of egyptian artifacts were found.

  • show me links please because thats the main reason the have doubted somalia been as land of punt lack of evidence beside the 18th dynasty are believed to be from land of punt and all spoke a second language including hatchpsut thats why she called land of punt land of the ancestors....the only somalians that could be possibly part of land of punt are the hawaie's since their past the roamed the north east africa before migrating further south, but i agree its a complex issue bcoz of migrations.

  • Another being the cave paintings of laas gaal which date back 3'000 BCE More archeological reasearch should be done, because there is evidence it could be somalia, eritrea, sudan and some people even say it could be as far away as lebanon which i dont agree because the puntites were african

  • gewal no way today somalia could be land of punt except maybe the northern tip of somaliland...maybe you could be right that the land of punt people could be from the three ethnci group hugging the coasts..the tigre/beja of eritrea..the adals who are most likely candidates or somalias..one problem with the somalis no evidence of somalia been ihabitant 2500bc which makes adals or afars or tigre/beja the most likely candidates.Facts is in the region around zula there are alot of egyption artifacts
