  • HE IS A TRUE DOVAHKIIN!!

  • "Jesus Christ....!" lol!

  • how much for one. and how long

  • why the fuc would cloud use such a fuc heavy blade and its ahhhhhhhh

  • why no sharpen blade?

  • Did you really just call other people nerds in a video? HAHAHA you toothpickarmed geekface!

  • Time to hit the gym, hagrid... 50 lbs aint that much to swing a few times.

  • @Germz4U It's probably not the actual weight, so much as how it's distributed. With a weapon that size, it would take a lot just to get it swinging. This is a terrible weapon idea for lots of reasons.

  • @terminator9990 By the way, I am a huge neeeeeeerrrrrddddddd

  • Thumbs up for when he says jesus christ lol

  • you know what they say about guys with big swords there compensating for something

  • in a real duel u was dead at beginning .. u seem a dwarf :D

  • lol 20.9kg?

  • Put on muscles first. For your health.

  • omg....I could just imagine how much of a workout this could be till you get use to using it....

  • over sized swords make everything better :3

  • Tis AWESOME but i LOVE the one that Angeal and Zack had :D i admire it.....^-^

  • @bellahorse151 If you got to this guys channel he has made Zack/Angeal's buster sword its absolutely beautiful and detailed to a T!!

  • FOOL YOU ARE NOT INFUSED WITH MAKO ENERGY YOU COULD NEVER WEILD SUCH MAGNIFICENCE :DDDDD

  • Un-fed Tryndamere?

  • And now you know why the Buster Sword was the worst weapon Cloud could equip.

  • At least it isn't a delicate replica.

  • fucking epic beard

  • Wow. How... clumsy and useless. I don't suppose anyone expected any different.

  • Bigger is not always better, people.

  • @Redirukod

lets not forget he doesnt look to be mr universe here, no offense to him of course. but these swords did exist as real weapons, and back when they were used, they were used by VERY powerful and skilled warriors, refered to as Berserkers.

  • @myrkyrormr

Uh, put down the JRPGs and read up on some history or something, because your average berserker, or any warrior back in the day, never used weapons that big, ever. Not even close. Your average sword back in the day was only 2-3 pounds, and rarely got over 5 pounds.

  • @Redirukod

i do not remember what they were called, but if i recall, they were roman warriors who used very large swords, not as big as that or as heavy im sure, but they existed. next time, dont be an ass please, im all for a good debate, but with those who are respectful

  • @myrkyrormr Germanic warriors used heavy swords such as zweihanders, I assume that's what you mean. Still, they aren't all that much like this sword, the blade is unnecessarily wide such that it is more heavy than it needs to be, in this case.

  • @firelegendmushroom Yeah, Zweihanders rarely weighed over 5 pounds. Nothing at all like this airplane wing. I looked it up. It's the first result when searching "weight of medieval weapons".

  • @myrkyrormr Please tell me you're kidding.

Buster Swords did not exist throughout history and have VERY Powerful and Skilled Warriors using them.

Try turning off the TV and going to school once in a while.

  • @Redirukod unless you can hold it properly and swing it like a stick(one handed optional) no one would dare fk w u

  • I thought it's light weight. Cloud said (to Tidus) Quote ''it's no that heavy''

  • ...whered you get it?

  • how the hell cloud uses that

  • that is the weapon which should be used in the gravity of moon or may be lighter gravity, i think.

  • Stop hating, hes just the smith, you dont expect Godo to wield the Dragonslayer do you? Youtube hating bunch of slack jawed faggots. I like the sword dude, excellent job.

  • Don't get me wrong, the sword is sick as fuck, however, why have a sword that you can barely handle or lift?

  • Hey, what's the name of his song?

  • Maybe that would have been cool if they had a man using it instead of the little girl they had using it, come on if its really only 46lbs then its not that heavy but they are acting like they are trying to lift a car. Hit the gym ladies.

  • @therealsteamingpile Hahaha, have you ever tried using a 3lb sword? Even that feels much heavier than 3lbs. It's not about lifting it like weights over your head. You have to hold it out in front of you, which makes it feel much, much heavier. Like in elementary school science when you found out that if you use a fulcrum, you can lift much heavier weights.

  • @ctemomo yes, his problem is he has zero upper strength and hes carrying it too far out in front of him and letting the blade lead him, if he held it closer and led the blade to his target he could get a better swing. Its just like a boxer, if he has no shoulder strength he cant punch, find a guy who can lift more than 60lbs then let him swing the sword.

Again, hit the gym ladies, hell I know women who could swing it easier than he did.

  • Actually, using your body as a pivot and keeping the sword close until it builds momentum might give your swings more power and supply a fulcrum, so you didn't have to bear all the weight of the sword in your arms. Say with a downward chop, rest the bulk of the blade on your shoulder, pull down on the handle, the let the blade move away from you while it makes its downward ark.

  • Cloud's sword is weaker, less affective, and also harder to weild and strike than Guts's sword.

  • now you know why they fight turn-based.

  • lmao if only he knew about momentum and letting it get going for a good swing befor contact dumby hope the back feels good after that one

  • @william80255 I think the joke's on you this time. Newton's first law of motion is that an object in motion tends to stay in motion (i.e. momentum), and an object at rest tends to stay at rest, unless acted on by an external force. The more massive an object is, the more energy you must spend to get it from standing still to moving fast, and this is 48lbs. It's so heavy that gravity actually brings it to a stop when you pull back to swing, wasting any momentum you had going.

  • @deathbyazure I figure that out by the minute mark in the video, that's why I start lifting and dropping instead of swinging. People don't understand physics. I've had people buy this off me and then say I lied about the weight "there's no way this is only 50lbs!", not realizing the difference between 50lbs hugged to your chest and 50lbs out on the end of a stick. My favorite is the guys that say I should swing horizontal, for more force. Your comment explains why that's lunacy too.

  • There is no way this guy is anything but a Scot. Alba gu brath!

  • Well, now I understand why Cloud needed to have a 10 second breather in between each attack.

  • Actually, pretty good smithing, getting that thing to weigh only 46lb as an amateur.

  • I think a sweet way to use that sword would be to spin around lots and go fast then move into something, see if you can't smash stuff apart really well that way

  • Now I know why Diablo II has a Minimum STR requirement on its heavier weapons and armor.

  • haha either way youtube wins

  • should have just started spinning

  • did anyone order one of theese?

  • 0:34 - 0:40

    WORST. LIMIT BREAK. EVER.

  • @wellsey89 ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ...5 hp lost

  • Comment removed

  • ok first of all how does cloud carry a buster sword like that and jimp like 50 feet high?

  • @sinjidboijcs1 He's a super-soldier.

  • haha michael, your Limit break was kinda sad... why did you call it "Jesus Christ" ?? :P

  • he swings like Aerith

  • Glancing blows.

  • would be scarry, if a bunch of people with Guts and Cloud swords starting attacking towns out of nowhere, not even guns or bombs or lasers can stand against these giant blades.

  • lol, epic song, slow killing action.

  • i would train with this every day till i could fight like cloud

  • @AJTV12 same man cloud would still kick my ass but her awesome

  • @AJTV12 then your an epic..

  • using one of these has to be included in the those worlds strongest men tournaments who's with me!

  • Now flip it 3 times and latch it magically on your back!

  • use your limit break!!

  • You need more muscle to properly wield that.

  • @613TheEvil Lol.. no. It's impossible to properly wield that. No matter how strong you are, it's the proportion is too far off to use it. Real life isn't video games.

  • could've been epic if he accidentally tripped over

  • Looks like a CABAL sword.

  • Use your shoulders and hips to swing. You have to let you own momentum fuel the swing of the sword. Good old FF7 led everyone to believe you can just free swing a buster sword. That's not how it works

  • @legendbooks These people also seem to forget that the guy who kept swinging that sword in the game was a genetically altered superhuman.

  • @CrimsomS Yea, part of the fanbase I guess, wanting to emulate our heroes..

  • @legendbooks It doesn't work because it's a sword that's twice as big as the guy using it. Even if he was swinging it like you say, it would be pointless to not just use a different kind of sword lol. The only thing this sword is good for is decoration, with absolutely no offense to the maker.. if ANYONE made this it would be the same thing.

  • @Ryfasol Its size depends on length and weight. This sword is no where near the weight of a man.Its effectiveness depends on the user's ability to properly use it and in this case, requires proper leverage in order to swing.Large weapons require a special style of use to be effective. In order to demonstrate the use a weapon, regardless of its size, proper use must be implemented.THAT is what I'm getting at.Using a smaller sword in actual battle would be the correct choice, this is a demonstration

  • Some people have waaaaaay too much free time....

  • @FilipeLazarevic He did slipped a few disks apparently, he has another video where he goes for a second attempt but a chick stops him. They get a pretty built guy to take a go at it instead

  • Maybe if you let gravity take over instead of swinging you would have done more damage.

  • Someone send this to Tobuscus.

  • if gimli was in final fantasy...

  • make me one?

  • Ha ha ha, dude how come you can't hold it? It is only 20 kg.

  • @LatestUFOSightings It's the balance. 20kg is kind've hard to swing around like nothing, though holding it isn't that big an issue. Holding =/= swinging.

  • This may be my ADHD speaking, but as far as I can tell this is the greatest example of epicosity ever exhibited by man that i have ever seen xD

  • i want one how much that shit tight

  • whats with the matrix music lol

  • @FilipeLazarevic

Ahh, no. The reason he's not doing damage is because swords we're meant to weigh about 3-5 pounds, not 46. The swords to heavy to get started so the necessary velocity you'd need to cut right can't be generated. I'd bet you could get better results from a 5 lb sword with a blended edge that was on the dull side. It's cool, don't get me wrong, but it's not a sword, just a sword like object.

  • what metal it made out of?

  • that wall has a HP of 30,000 or more.

  • THE ff7 buster sword?! stick some Fire materia into it and watch... it... BURNNNNN...

  • thumbs up if you a fed up of 'thumbs up if' comments. wait a minute...

  • Whoa! And what is that music?

  • i had one similar to this.. there is a trick on how to use it due to its massive size, not saying its a good weapong irl, but i coudl actualyl manage to swing it and do real (slow) damage :D, check out Dream casts' guts sword of bersek, bhasic moves to see what i mean, slow movements that take advantage of the weight

  • my bro made a real buster sword that could break into two swords, it was really heavy and epic. it's either my bro is way stronger than that guy, or his sword was way better, cuz in 3, 4 slashes that wall of wood would've been destroyed! :P

  • add some materia to the slots dummy

  • Protip: kinetick energy equals to (roughly) 1/2 (m*v2) in joule, so it's way better to have a light sword that you can swing fast than a heavy one you can barely lift.

  • @KingOfNormans

Ding ding ding! Give the man a prize.

  • Estuans interius,

    Ira vehementi!

    Estuans interius,

    Ira vehementi!

    WOODEN PALLET!

    WOODEN PALLET!

  • It might be blunt, and impractical. But it looks awsome, and be honest. If you saw someone run at you with that, you would probbably crap your pants and die of a heart attack anyway. :D Then again... It might not be blunt, that could be a sturdy plank... :D

  • CHALLENGE TO THE CREATOR: You are swinging it all wrong, due to its massive size and weight you must use technique akin to a sledge hammer... the hand that is at the top of the hilt needs to slide down to the bottom one as you are down-swinging, look up a sledge hammer tutorial on youtube lol.. it will cause a massive increase in force and youd have probably demolished at least half of that shit in one blow! RE-POST a video trying this, cuz I am damn curious, if it works, make me a blade FREE!

  • since when did chewbacca weild a sword?

  • fukin legend

  • sorry but its true

  • not a very good remake not enough effort put into it

  • not a very realistic remake

  • god damn practice with tht 10Xs a day and ur arms will be huge

  • how can i get this sword!?!?! how much :O!!!

  • Looks heavy lol

  • or its triangle heads sword

  • ive seen cloud spin that thing around his fingers so it cant be that heavy

  • Wooden pallet stay- 0 damage

  • onackvmnvjn

  • these kinds of swords are too large and the design is impractical for real combat.

Thumbs up for the effort though.

  • Why do all white trash have these swords

  • I take it it isn't sharpened.

  • Never quite understood anime's fascination with stupidly oversized weapons, such as the buster sword or soul edge when one considers that more historically accurate greatswords look badass and were actually practical.

  • @Oppetsismiimsitsitc

That's like saying "I never understand super hero's power with shooting laser beams and such when historically guns were used and they are quiet badass. and practical."

It has nothing to do with being practical or keeping it true to history. It's about making ones imagination come to life. They look a hell of a lot cooler then the normal ones (which are also badass) it's really just fun imagining and if you can make other people like it too then why not?

  • @Funnyman088 Keeping in mind that the opinion that big swords look cool is just that - an opinion, and not all people share it.

Don't worry about it though. Some people like them, some people don't. Some people don't care.

  • even if I can carry and manipulate it too heavy to be effective.

  • fuck i never thought it must be so heavy

  • Those wood bars are very easy to break, and the sword is not heavy as it look

  • buff up atack speed

  • kinda dull for a buster sword, but its still awesome

  • If i had a sword like that, I would increase my workout regimen until I could cut a pipe cactus in half.

  • Question: Did you sharpen this thing at all, or did you just kind of count on the weight of the blade being enough to break through?

  • i deal you don't think i was going beat it... you be tire too easliy with that sword because you not able hit a power..

  • Yes, but will it blend?

  • @Bleopping lol sir

  • All you need now is a pyramid on your head.

  • its called the buster blade not buster sword

  • this just shows how awesome cloud is, swining it round with 1 arm :D

  • your not holding the sword right

  • The only time that sword can work is if the handle weighed more than the blade.

  • He kinda looks like Dimebag Darrell :O

  • Maybe you should spend more time at the gym and then use that sword. No offense ofcourse. Fantastic work mate. Although some basic details are missing, the quality looks decent and can definitely kill someone. 5/5 stars.

  • 2:46 look how big my sword is

  • How much?

  • the one thing that bothers me is that you guys never tried to flourish with that sword. its overall weight would give it greater momentum and then end up looking cooler as well. but given that the weight of such an object is around 80-130 Lbs. or greater, it may not be a viable option.

  • @NurinInarin Good idea. Cept you'd spin the fuck out of control, fall on your ass,and this big thing might fall down on top of you as well. But you can always try it out if you want ^_^

  • idk why but i was laughing the whole time watching xDD thanks for the reality check though

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn! that shit huge compared to him

  • give it to a farmboy whos used to moveing and stacking 50 pound bales of hay all day every day all summer long lol

  • @ruku871

    LOL.

  • hahaha awesome!

  • Epic. Blacksmith.

  • Jesus...Cloud must have had some of the best rotator cuffs in history...

  • wonder if it would work better if it was made of lightweight titanium... Or if you had a powerlifter wield it lol

  • now lets see how well Ghal Maraz would work

  • hell yea

  • i have my own sword.. nothing that big.. looks to big there for the balance is off.. but still a good laugh lol

  • This is one of the most retarded things I have ever seen. Even more retarded than JRPGs.

  • i would like to see brock lesnar use this sword he could probably swing it like a dagger

  • with a nice counter ballance , this thing would be nasty in the right hands , line mine >:)

  • Gimli son of Gloin.

  • heh, Juno Reactor playing in the background.

  • Why can't i live in USA :(

  • Amazing that it didn't break with the very first impact! The weight seems to suggest that it should snap at the connection between the guard and the handle, or even just by swinging it!

Still it's a completely silly weapon. You die with that thing in any serious battle. I'd not even use a sword against this. Bare hands would suffice or maybe a dagger.

  • @kenninast Anyone wielding a sword is going to die in battle nowadays, what with those newfangled things called guns.

  • @Chupacabrathe2nd

Smart ass comment of the decade?

I don't mind that. I do it myself too.

Obviously I mean "battles in the days when they were fought with blades, spears, lances, axes, maces and what not".

  • @kenninast Well yeah, but it was a perfect opportunity for a guns vs. swords joke. I get what you're sayin' though, the buster sword is basically a long, thin club.

  • the music makes it so much more hilarious

  • physics? physics started not working with clouds hair pfft fuck the sword hows his hair do that? lol

defying the laws of gravity everyday

  • where can u get a buster sword?

  • DAM YOU PHYSICS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • DAM YOU PHYSICS

  • Well, one reason you may be having trouble wielding it is that I guess you haven't had any practice with this, you don't have the feel of the sword down yet.

More importantly, Cloud's sword isn't even that big. Based on the descriptions of his sword, the blade actually doesn't go anywhere near that tall or wide, you're wielding a sword bigger than Cloud's. Cut down the width by about an inch, and the height by a good foot and you've got it perfect. Seriously, you'd probably drop a good 10 lbs!

  • what kind of steel did you make it out of as in the carbon content and the thickness

  • That guy reminds me of the dwarf at lord of rings....... no offense though

  • not worth it methinks

  • how long did it take to make that?

  • There was an exact production replica made by a larger company that used aircraft grade aluminum to reduce the weight from around 50lbs to only 13.5. Smart idea :]

  • what a music plays in this awesome movie?)
