Once he grew up a little he probably realized, Ginger was always there. He was the perfect girl from Darren. At least he realized that in the end.

I don't doubt that as a possibility, but an ending of them just being able to be friends again in the future is an also equally true and a satisfying end. I'm saying that babies ever after for these two was a very easy and typical ending and one I don't think rang true in the end. Darren and Ginger didn't split up just because of his shallowness but because their interests had changed and they were becoming other people. That's it.

Yes, they watch it, but it's not their whole life like it was in high school. Same thing goes for gingers band. Those things fade away, but loyalty, experience, and the deeper things are long lasting. I know it's not typical but I am saying it is possible and a good thing for kids to see, so they know what's important.

This show always reminded me of myself. From when she kept a diary in middle school, to her single parent mother and not-in-the-picture father to her first heart break and losing a best friend at the same time. Greatest show ever hands down.

I can't believe all the hate Darren is getting. Granted, he shouldn't have broken up with Ginger and especially not for that basic cheerleader, but at least he was upfront about how he felt about his relationship with Ginger. Most guys would keep the cheerleader on the side, along with a couple other chicks. Plus he legit feels bad about hurting Ginger by breaking up with her; most guys aren't that sensitive. Darren isn't a bad person.

A great show as this should be out in a DVD box set season 1-3. If enough people ask for the series to be out on DVD then they will do it. A LOT of people asked for Danny Phantom to come out on DVD and all three season are out. ^_^
