can someone explain to me how having an unloaded gun that is registered in your name is against the law? He did not threaten anyone with the gun, he simply told his teammate to pick one as a joke. I know that it is against NBA rules but that has nothing to do with him going to JAIL. It is obvious he is allowed to have guns but not in the Verizon center..

Hear this- If a sports player legally buys handguns (which range in price from $200-2,000 each,) he should have the common sense to buy a $500 gun safe/know the DC laws/then abide by them.
