  • I LOVE THE KILLSWITCH WITH THE FREEZE!!!!!!!

  • Very nice video, thanks for sharing.

  • I was looking forward to hearing the neo mistress, but it now sounds kind of dull. The killswitch seems kind of limited, as well.

  • it sounds like thier booth was right next to the cat choking booth

  • I like how you can hear "Chain of Fools" playing as he's talking about chaining pedals into the fx loop of the delay pedal. I take it as a warning, pedals are great but when a player has 50 pedals and spends the whole gig tap dancing while the playing suffers kind of takes the soul out of music. And in my experience EHX pedals fail a lot. I've lost a Holy Grail, a POG, and a Memoryman in the space of 6 months and my repair guy won't fix them because they aren't designed to be fixed, disposable!

  • @duanedetaub and even funnier, is the vocalist is using some sort of vocoder a little later.

  • EHX: Delivering fucked up pedal wankery that you'll never REALLY use in a song since 1968!

  • @SwampAshSpecial Except for people like David Gilmour (big muff, electric mistress), Andy Summers (electric mistress), Jack White (big muff), the Edge (deluxe memory man). But no one has ever heard of those people.

    Don't forget Kurt Cobain.

  • @tcbswampy Just pointint out... ALL of them use the more 'moderate' EHX pedals - delay, fuzz and flanger. When have you EVER heard something like... an envelope filter... or a ring modulator... used MUSICALLY in a song?

  • @SwampAshSpecial

Loads of times. Env Followers are used in 70's pop, funk and soul. i've heard Mars Volta use Ring Modulatotors. Presidents Of America, Sonic Youth. Devo, Kraftwerk and any prog/kraut rock stuff tends to use them. Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, Stockhausen, At The Drive In, Flaming Lips, Queens Of The Stone Age. Jesus, loads!

    Listen to more music.

  • very cool.

  • TTK, review the talking machine PLEASE

  • Loud stompbox switches. Quiet ones exist. Manufacturers: USE THEM!

  • Probably the only time I've heard anyone call you Lewis.

  • Looks like a solid Rosewood neck.

  • That POG 2 is badass.

  • In my oppinion he is using the "killswitch" pedal wrong when I think Killswitch I think buckethead and tom morello and creating a effect where it actually kills the sound this kill switch pedal however adds more "sound" when it should actually reduce the amount of "sound" I'm thinking if they want people to use their pedal like this then it should not be called "the killswitch"

  • @Esparoba1 then dont have anything plugged into its effect loop and it will cut the sound like a regular killswitch.

  • @MrCwillies Yes I knew that but still it's called killswitch but demo shows the pedal bringing in an effectsloop I'm still finding the name wrong

  • @Esparoba1 You Could put two cables that are going through nothing to cut the sound, Right?

  • @Esparoba1 if you set the lowest volume on some effect in the loop i will kill :D

  • @Esparoba1 It's not killing the entire mix, it's killing the other pedals going into it. I'm sure the killswitch could be used to act as your aforementioned Tom Morello style kill-switching.

  • @SaurianSoul You're quite correct with that. Check out - ehx.com/products/killswitch

  • @Esparoba1 It would have been nice to see him do that but if people are buying the Killswitch because they aren't smart enough to turn the neck pickup down then they probably shouldn't buy the pedal in the first place. I would personally put a DL4 into it and make some fluckin' crazy tunes.

  • Autotune singing in the background

  • Can you please tell everyone in the background to STFU!!

  • Thumbs up for Larry, he did a good informative demo this time.

  • I loooooooooooooooove EHX

  • the freeze would be excellent for sustaining a note at high gain without getting feedback.. ive never heard of a pedal like that.. do other brands make something similar? anyone know?

  • So... The tone kings real name is Louis something something jr.... Hmm

  • All these pedals are just more reasons to love Electro Harmonix.

  • I wish EH would have brought Bill Ruppert with them.

But they know what they're doing, maybe Larry's awesome at selling their stuff to stores, which is really what NAMM is about.

  • Great products by great people.....

  • One mans music is another mans noise. Larry didn't do the boxes much musical justice, but thanks for the video Tone King. \m/

  • Got the memory toy for christmas. Great sounding analog delay.

  • cool
