I agree that using fingers is harder but it does give you a little diffrent sound. I think jason was really good and would better without the picks. I play a Rogue 5 string and playing with a pick just dosnt feel right. But to all their own.

The reason they went through the whole process to find a singer is the same reason all talent shows (american idol, xfactor etc) are pathetic. THis is the same, only with a rock theme.
