i want to change into aspen

but i have a glass viv nd the heat mat i have dosn't have a sticky bit on it

will i place the heat mat in the tank and then put paper over it and then put aspen in

because i read on internet that lots of baby corns borrow and stay on the heat mat and can die

no dont put it in with the snake cuz they will get lazy and die. if ur heat mat dont stick and still works, just tape it on the bottom of the tank, i have a ball python and my heat mat is under the tank, even the pet store should say dont put it in with your snake.

Now... as for the listerine, we saw the pure pour work, but doesn't discourage a bite. I don't think anything does. I keep rubbing alcohol on hand for the big guys who get a grip. Is this not the standard operating procedure anymore? Is Listerine safer for the snake than rubbing alcohol? Someone tell me, please! I want it off when it latches, but I want it off with as little harm as possible.
