Hey murmanarng05 im not knocking you at all so dont take offense to this when i ask cuz this is a serious question but is firing your weapon with the buttstock at the top of the shoulder like that something that is taught in the military? Or is it just that that paticular gun is made for shooting prone or somthing? I'm only asking because i've seen several people shoot like this and can't figure out exactly what advantage it has? I'd appreciate it,and i bet that sass is a blast to shoot...
@gander15 its just because he's standing. if he were to be kneeling or in prone it would be easier to put the butt-stock in the pocket of the shoulder without having to put a crick in your neck to look down the sights. same shit happens with the m4/m16, they dont sit as high off the shoulder as the m110 though because the butt-stock is straight back unlike the m110. but standing does take away about half of the butt-stock. at least in my experiences it has. it veries base on the weapon setup.
Well obviously you never learned to spell. But no, I learned to shoot in Infantry School at Ft.Benning Ga in 1983. You were still on your mothers breast back then.
I like it, how does the soldier keeps the rifle hehe ;D

@gander15 I have no military training but I think that it is so he have the scope at eye level.

@4jai2brons0n That's *mostly* right -- the issue is getting the a good cheek-to-stock fit so that his point of aim is consistent.
