  • Guess he's feelin' pretty blue..

  • FREE BORN BLUE!

  • @akrapley Free born blue brother!

  • This has become one of my favourite songs! Great music must be broadcast worldwide! Greetings from Mexico

  • probably CCR's most under-appreciated song.

  • great music will live on... until the US department of "Justice" starts cracking down on free music like they have on poker/sportsbetting sites... Call your congressman and tell them to stay the fuck out of our computers!

  • I've played CCR about 100 times in a row... why haven't they lost my interest yet? lol

  • nice video....!!!!!!!

  • Just plain boogie woogying music. Makes you want to get up and juke.

  • probably just nit-picking, but I believe John did all the backing vocals(not Tom) on this album himself. That was one of the things that was irking the other guys in the band.

But man...just listen to the harmonies on Cotton Fields ,Midnight Special and Down on the corner.. there's at least 4 or 5 voices in the "choir',and they're all John.

The guy was on fire, they should have just let him go for it.. instead of being jealous and wanting to change the dynamics of the band..

  • always the best

  • Can four middle-class white dudes from San Francisco play truly authentic American roots music? Damn straight they can. As well as ANYBODY, ever.

  • @utoobia Actually they were from EL CERRITO, Ca. Don't you forget it! ;)

  • CCR is #1!

  • thank you for sharing

  • That Fogerty lick at 1:40 is absolutely simplistic genius!!

  • @crayhead Yeah I know John Fogerty is such an awesome guitarist! He really inspires me to play more like him.

  • @johnIemon, Yep. The man understood minimalism and the importance of the spaces between the notes. Soulful player, soulful singer.

  • Bluee bluee blueee bluueeee bluuuuueee!!!!

  • One of my favorites by CCR along with Run Through the Jungle and Graveyard Train.

  • this music, by ccr could carry me forever

  • ey look over yonder, ive always loved that line

  • ccr is da bomb gotta love it lemme take dat gyard train!!!!

  • yeah creedence

  • the people who vote for ''thumb down'' are just provocaters(or 12 year olds, basicly the same) just leave those dickweeds alone. And what i mean by that; stop saying stuff about thumbs down, so songs have a cool ass ''thumbs up-streak'' like this sweet song, it just deserves the ''thumbs up-streak''!

  • @jasper2252

    you have right

many teenes are listen techno (i'm not) but techno is very very shit!!!

i love creedence clearwater revival so much

and i don't understand why teenes don't can ccr!?

and i hope ccr become also youth fans

    don't forgotten ccr

    ccr for ever

  • @MrStepu born in The Netherlands, 18 years, and i'm lovin it^^ But we definetely need some sweet blues/rock artists to compete what the ''music'' that they call pop... So stuff like this won't be forgotten.

  • 3 Never felt blue

  • Keep on play'n dat rock n roll.

  • How could someone NOT like Creedence?

  • I really want to thank my dad for introducing me to CCR at a young age. Im doing the same to my nephew and to my kids. That is when ever i have kids.

  • 3 people didnt felt blue

  • Creedence Clearwater Revival just the name make me feel GOOD Thanks for all the good music

  • this is real music...

  • Es de mis preferidas, su melodía es espectacular, mezcla de rock, blues y country

  • fogerty is a bad mutha fucker, and i mean that in a good way.

  • Blue = sad?

  • @stonechater Yets

  • One of the best grooves from a band known for grooves. From 1969-1971 no-one touched Credence. Sound as good today as then. Cheers to John!

  • SEE MY CREEDENCE BASS COVER OF THIS SOG AND MORE

  • @ccrstucook I've seen it!

  • Comment removed

  • @TeamMastaPr2 Hello , Im sorry I dont speak English very well , I dont understand you very well , but the song is in F# , Im going to Upload a video of this song in a 4 string bass Greetings

  • @ccrstucook Yeah, I know that, I just figured it out, the TAB was inaccurate, I just have problems with the solos!

  • @TeamMastaPr2 Play in the key of D7 on a detuned guitar like he did and stay in the box with a lot of bluesy soul and you will find it with out tabs. Play with a groove!!!

  • @flymonkeys3 If you talk about the solos on "Travelin' Band" I figured it out, I posted the TAB on bigbasstabs com

  • que du bonheur du grand CREEDANCE...........!

  • THE PERFECT DENITION OF SWAMP ROCK CREEDENCE ROCKS

  • John Fogerty RULES !

  • Bellissima!!!!! Beautiful!!!!!!!!!

  • oh what a song, what a rythm when it begins. great !! (great original slideshow too) ... out in the rain.....

  • quel groove !...

  • CCR......it's in your vanes

  • This song is, like, a perfect mix of soul and swamp rock!

  • great song...love all ccr....and i like all the newer cd's john put out....I heard he is getting ready to release a new cd ...does anyone know if that is true?

  • I only heard that he plans on another rock album next...don't know when though.

  • mean and simple soul. to the point and played like masters of rockin' blues.

  • anyone got the tabs for this ?

  • ahh someone should upload poorboy shuffle an this together...blend of the two is wickkked

  • I don't feel as blue after I listen to this song.

  • The best segway in rock music is "Poorboy Shuffle and Feelin' Blue."

  • gets me right in the gut, and a great freaking gutiar solo

  • I always wondered what song followed Poorboy Shuffle...I think this is it.

  • Feelin blue is song, which followed poorboy shuffle...Willy And The Poor Boys-album..track 4. Poorboy Shuffle and Track5. Feelin Blue

  • I haven't heard this in YEARS and I still know every note. Even every word. And it sounds GREAT.

  • My preferred from CCR! John Fogerty does not seem to sing it back again in any of his concert though... I asked it for tonight's show "Live by Request", but I'm not sure he'll get the message. If anyone can let me know. I am based in Europe, so I will not be able to see the broadcast...

  • Creedence Clearwater Revival first, Beatles second,Rollings Stones Third and The Monkees Fourth place

  • are you becoming diesel? ...what's that Monkees 4th place?

  • the beuty of creedence is that they have alot "unfamous" songs that are great!

  • @hnh4 amen to that well said, this song is a testament to that, my band plays this, I just got into it about a week ago or so

  • i cant stop dancing :)

  • CCR is one of the few bands I can listen to anytime, anywhere. I never have to be in the mood for them. When they're on its all good.

  • I couldn't have said it better! Saw them back in '70 at Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis for the princely sum of $3.25!

  • @Weissmenchland So true any ccr song anytime

  • @Weissmenchland I agree with you. I never get tired listenning to them.

  • Every time I listen to one of their songs I love it. I can't say that about the Stones or the Beatles.

  • now don't exaggerate my friend!...i love credence but the bands you mentioned are best anyway!!!! easier to listen...that's what credence have!

  • .......y e a h .....!!!

  • this is a bad ass song...♥

  • I LOVE HOT MOMS, WHO LOVE THIS SONG !

  • CCR RULES!!!!!!!!!!

  • Je neskutočne že po toľkých rokoch je táto hudba tak fascinujúca .

    JARO

  • i agree completely dude

  • thats what SHE said!!

  • Old school bayou boogie. Nothing touches this band.

  • a profoundly accurate statement my friend and in short.......I totally concur!

no one sounds like creedence.THEE definition of unique inspirationally adept groovitude...i said GAWD DAYUM! 8)

    hahahaha rock on my brotha!

  • Man CCR was so great because they could tap into those bluesy rock roots. Awesome

  • Somebody please tell me there are songwriters out there today of this caliber that just don't get heard because they don't "look good on video". If not we are on the road to a horrible place for music.

  • Yes there are, but a few actually ARE getting heard. Check out "Lies" & "I Got Mine" by The Black Keys. Then check out "Shuffle Your Feet", "Devil's Waitin" & "Ain't No Easy Way" by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

  • Sure are: Grayson Clapp, Wilco, Mad Highway. Look 'em up!

  • oops what i ment to say wes im in ti blues. an i love this an hooker an heat . by canned heat john Lee Hooker. check it out

  • that didn't make a whole hell of alot of sense

  • Haa yeah that's what i thought when i read that same comment. Someone must be high .

  • What he said is that Wes, I'm into blues. And I love this and "Hooker 'N' Heat" by Canned Heat and John Lee Hooker. Check it out! Which means that he's into blues. He loves this song by CCR and he loves the "Hooker 'N' Heat" album by Canned Heat and John Lee Hooker.

  • the cronic

  • im in heat

  • feelin blue.... not anymore, I am feelin' funky, Thank you John!!

  • John Fogerty was very under-rated as a guitarist. Ranked #40 by RollingStone...should be higher for sure. To bad there's no ranking for song writers. Or is there?

  • Just looked...ranked #49 songwriter by RS. Hmph.

  • HMPH is right! he has to be in the top 20 i don't care who has to be left out.

  • I think when he is dead and gone he will reach the top of ALL charges ! So many timeless songs.......unbelievable what this man made !

  • pure blues that...

  • fucking groovie...

  • Around about whenever it was in the late Sixties I went to a "social" in someone's house around the left-wing group we all beloned to in London. We were told that only the music of one band would be played. Good people, great women & Creedence in a darkened room. You had to be there...

  • anyone know the chords to this song, I can't find it anywhere.

  • Holy shit! Thought I'd heard all Credence from way back, but never heard this track. Which LP did this come off? It's a kick ass awesome Bluesy Rock! Rock on John!
