probably just nit-picking, but I believe John did all the backing vocals(not Tom) on this album himself.That was one of the things that was irking the other guys in the band.

But man...just listen to the harmonies on Cotton Fields ,Midnight Special and Down on the corner.. there's at least 4 or 5 voices in the "choir',and they're all John.

The guy was on fire,they should have just let him go for it.. instead of being jealous and wanting to change the dynamics of the band..
