she is better than vanessa imo.. this song is not a "hit" but it is a good album song. she needs one or two solid hits. her voice is pleasant to listen to over and over again so she can certainly do it, but the material needs to be there. question is, would pharrell give it to her or someone like popular Rihanna which will guarantee units sold ($)

See, the neptunes need a good manager. They write good music but they're bad at being successful in the music biz. They produce good songs for obscure, unpopular artists instead of producing only for top acts. Pretty much all the albums released on their record label have flopped. It's not like the music is not good, it's top-notch, but they just don't know how to promote albums properly.

I agree with you up untill you spoke of "top acts". Im all for exposure, but the industry is OVER-EXPOSING us with the same artist. I would prefer an obscure artist to ... lets say that weak as Leona Lewis tune, 100 times a day on FM radio. but thats my opinion. :)

By 'top acts', I mean popular artists who, if the neptunes produced for, would make hits out of neptunes productions.

The neptunes waste such good songs on obscure artists who have no hit-making power, so you have all these incredibly good songs that never even chart, and if the same song was released by a more popular artist, it'd top the charts easily.

There's more to topping charts than making good music, you also need the star power of popular artists to propel the song up the charts.

Did you ever think that maybe The Neptunes just want to give new artists a chance instead of brushing them to the side like people like you would? Maybe they like what a lot of these "chart topping" artists lack: creativity. Plus, The Neptunes have so much money and have done so much with so many artists that they now know that they only have to please themselves and NOT the industry. It's not always about chart topping, people. It's about good music and what's good to your soul.

Her project was dropped and the Neptunes used it for "Seeing Sounds". As far as how I feel about Natasha Ramos. Her vocal range and style is in the same vain as Vanessa Marquez's. Why have two artist that are similar on your roster???
