we goin to do this on my dads 69 gmc 3/4ton, my mom has a 5.3 in her 2000 truck so we goin to take that bore an stroke it to a 383, new cam, new heads, new intake, get a custom wiring harness, i figure bout $3500 in the motor an trans then bout another 3500 to get the truck restored.

I have a 1979 chevy pickup c10 5.7diesel it has a 350 in it now but I want to put a ls9 or a new camaro motor in with a cam how hard is it to do thank you for your help

I wish I could see where you relocated the computer. I had a friend help me install an LS with the original Auto Transmission with overdrive in my 68 GMC 4X4. My other friend who had the Tech, fuel, and electric know how dropped out. Know I am slowly trying to figure how to make everything out. I have installed a fuel tank with a pump inside at the rear bed. Now I need to figure out how to connect the lines correctly and then the electrical along with replacing my gas pedal / drive by.

I located an LS1 w/ 300hp and am getting everything together to work on it in the garage during these chicago winters. Ha ha.

I did this same swap in my 84 GMC Sierra Classic 4x4 with a 6.0L out of a 2000 Silverado that was wrecked. Wow what a difference the 6.0L was from my old 350. If your thinking about doing this too, just do it. It's so worth it when your done. You'll get frustrated but thats half the fun! lol If anyone has any questions about it, feel free to message me.
