@PerryHacksApples eh its an ok tab, he plays the first note twice each time, not just the once that you tabbed, only its slightly muted. Play the first note with your thumb while muting the string with your index finger and immediately play the same note with said index finger to achieve the effect Meric is using.

So I saw The Dodos tonight. FANTASTIC SHOW. After they played this song, I mustered up the courage to ask Meric about the video and what it meant. I asked, "Can you tell us about the video for that song?". He replied, "What do you want to know?". All I could think of to say was "What the fuck?". He laughed and then told me that he would talk to me about it after the show was over. He didn't :( but it was still really funny.
