i love heelflips. this guy helped. if you dip you head over the board you will either land heels on board with major toe drag or not atall. if you dip your weight back ollie dont remove back foot, just flick front foot forward 75% you will land it sooner or later

i can barely heelflip and can't get close to kickflips, im 13 and can only heelflip,fakie pop shuv and shuv, regular shuv and pop shuv and sometimes nollie shuvs so i suck... took me a year to learn to ollie but now i can ollie over a foot so yeah.. best friend started at the same time and he can varial kickflip,tre,heel,kick.. makes me wonder if i should quit or not

@Sk83r4lyf31996 man, i used to b like u and ended up quiting... after six years i startd sk8ing again and now im MUCH better than i used to. My style got better, enjoy the sport more than b4 and im still learning new tricks...& im 29!.. so... if u really like it, dont quit, ur still in time 2 get better @it... id recommend just havin fun sk8ing around (no tricks, just chillin). Poppin faster/jumping higher, paying attention to your shoulders/head and back foot, is also key..

I learned heelflips way before I learned kickflips but once I learned kickflips my heelflips became fuckin crappy! I barely do them now, I do them rocket style and sometimes I get credit carded! I fuckin hate them but I want to have them down so bad!

so stop bitchin about him not actually clearing the car or using a bump - which makes it actually harder to catch the heelflip properly - as THERE'S NO CHANCE IN HELL you'll ever catch a heelflip like he does.

actually i can land heelflip now for almost a week i've ben knowing :)...

try putting your foot in middle of board at a 45 degree angle wit your heel hanging off NOT toes and when you pop try flicking your ankle...it took my friend only a couple hours i taught him :)
