All you retards asking what it has to do with DOTA. Its because in DotA you need good timing in getting the last hit on a creep kill. Although not the only custom map that requires this skill, it is the most popular.

The HU was planning to fast creep to 3 and probably fast expand. With the loss of the Golem, he falls significantly short of achieving a fast level 3, severely increasing the chances for the UD to win. However, he did get that lucky experience tome, so he didn't have to quit yet.

If the Human wasted time in killing the aco, it would've delayed his creeping. And if that was the case, the UD's Death Knight would've arrived in time to wreck havoc. Resulting in at least 2-3 peasant kills and possibly a creep coil.

While the aco creep kill required good timing, theres also a large factor of luck. So as HU, usually theres no need to bother killing the aco until after you finished the creep camp as you must clear it asap before DK arrives.

i think playing ladder games makes u good at dota. not the otherway around. many of the skills, strategies, and modes of thinking applied in ladder game are quite easily transferable to the dota playing grounds. managing one hero doesn't give you making good at commanding an army.

Teh reasons dota could help you is...

1. Deny, you can kill your almost dead units to prevent XP gain for the enemy

2. Teaches you how to last hit and shit and to kill almost dead units

3. Since some dota heroes summon you have to micro them fairly well which you require to do in a ladder game

Well really in late game for instance eginma. The conversion really those die way to fast late game so i just send them along a creep lane to the Scourges base.. Really no micro just hotkey "A" and click.

Nice moves, blocking always discourages his creeping and the main creep steal should prevent him from hitting 3 when he creeps the GM (sad tomb of XP luckdrop though)

But I can not agree that dota makes you better at warcraft.

Last hit + block were first found in wc3. take for example the blademaster . He has wind walk and he waits untill the other who is creeping to put the creep in low hp so he can take the creep
