  • In a global catastrophe Vancouver Island has 2 weeks before food sources are exhausted. Then 750,000 humans (think about that) are scattered around looking for food where there is none (because we destroyed the wildlife long ago). You won't be trading liquor you'll be hunting other humans for there meat. It's a fantasy that you can survival civilization ending, its totally unpredictable. Be prepared, but instead plan to heal the planet and continue the plight to bring forth true democracy. Peace

  • @razorbrainsandwisdom Don't forget the "walking dead" as I like to call them. A group of those will be close to a "28 days later" type scenario. It will be interesting on our little Island. I'm partial to grain fed human as opposed to "rotten ronnies" fed humans. Peace to you.

  • @BluntTrauma621 Yes many are sleepwalking, even worse, comatose. We can't allow this to blind us from choosing the higher ground. All life deserves dignity and respect so lets encourage our troubled brothers to change thier ways, to eat healthier, to walk more alive. If we focus on doomsday, the gravity of those thoughts moves it closer. Don't lose sight of a more compassionate human race peaking up on the horizon. You're prepared for the worse, please, also prepare for the best.

  • @razorbrainsandwisdom I have worked in the downtown core here in Victoria. Compassion and understanding go along way. I try to stay positve and realize that when all is said and done, we will be on equal footing more or less. Thanks for reminding me we are pretty much all in this together. Maybe even for the species. Who knows.

  • ive been using some of your ideas they work well for me,cheers

  • 'You can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself..." a quote from a Rick Nelson song on the "Garden Party" album...a long time ago...I'm a Viet Nam era vet and everything I'm packin' is military issue...it worked back then, and it's still workin' now! If it ain't broke, don't fix it...as far as the trade items go, some of those Naysayers will probably be bummin' smokes and whiskey from you because they couldn't get nothin' together...keep up the good work! John G.

  • @BluntTrauma621 I also have days that get me down and tears fill my eyes....My children keep me grounded but still there is so much muck to wade through

  • I'm slowly making a few bug out bags ... you're right ... zillions of ways to put them together. I think you are also right about the internet. It's days are numbered as a way do disseminate info ... it will be dumbed down to the state of interactive tv ...another way for people to spend money and listen to state propaganda.
