  • I have a PAL-to-NTSC commercial import VHS that's uncensored, however, the picture quality is much less than that of the Tales/Vault DVD. Somewhat washed-out.

  • Fenton suffers the same fate as Franklyn Marsh in Dr. Terror's House of Horrors; blinded art critic.

  • 5:23 - 5:27 BANG! You're dead!

  • 5:05 - 5:23 Everybody hit the dirt! It's pointed right at you!

  • 4:38 - 4:42 I love the exprssion on his face. It's like he's saying, "There's no way out for you, man! There's no chance in Hell of you getting out of this one!"

  • 2:11 - 2:15 Look, Ma! No hands! Remember, Mr. Kill...gas: use your intelligence. (I know it's Gaskill! I'm making fun of his last name. He deserves it in my view.)

  • 1.34 a guillotine its never going to end well

  • Ok, no, I've changed my mind. This is my favorite segment. The beardy guy has a great intensity. And it cracks me up how that lady in blue just kept her back turned when the guy got his hands chopped off and was in need of serious, urgent medical attention. And her back was shaking kind of like she was laughing.

  • @bribabytt I loved the line "You're doing it all wrong"... and then got his hands chopped off...

  • @DarkCK05 If that's the right way to do it, they must have high turnover in that job.

  • Never piss of the Doctor!

  • @sofasport the liquid in that jar was green, so i would imagine it's some kind of alkaline solution

  • The part where Arthur's hands are cut off has to be the most disturbing movie scene I've ever seen.

It's also kind of weird seeing Tom Baker play a vengeful character, but awesome all the same.

  • It's funny that the censored version took out the punchlines of each of the segments, leaving the viewer with a sort of dark and confusing movie, not a faintly comedic one.

  • erm. I just watched the movie on TV and it was the same.

What was cut out in the censored version?

  • @koggi242 The cut version is missing the scene from the first tale, "Midnight Mess", where Daniel Massey is upside down having his blood tapped from his neck.

  • It wasn't deleted here!!!

    I just saw that scene!!!

  • @bvseediermedia7 Also ISTR they censor the part where the guy's hands get cut off.

  • I love how the two people just ignore the man when his hands have been chopped off

  • @dramaticguy yeah lol the guy next to him is like "whoops, there go your hands" lol

  • Funny, I was expecting Denhol Ellit to turn into an Indian woman after Tom Baker, drew the red spot on is forehead :)

  • Sulfuric acid No5, was hit as perfume those days...

  • FOX, you cheated me out this awesome uncensored version of The Vault Of Horror. Now I shall have revenge.

  • @DefLeppardVanHalen hahah, a lot of us would like to have our own revenge. nice username.

  • FOX is a s-hole!!!

    TV for reactionary morons!!!

  • I thought the second guy would be disembowelled. Oh well

  • Hehe, that is some FAST-acting acid :)

  • He should've kept his self-portrait in the TARDIS =p

  • @4:16 "Must...get...marker...must doodle on...forehead!"

  • @Civanfan Or, "How strange...for some reason I feel compelled to convert to Hinduism!" :D
