  • Using both compartments for recycling eh?, good video

  • we have a truck just like this at our division here in PA the shutes dont split like that though. The driver that uses it now keeps the shute over on the passenger side so that if there is cardboard he can use the panel to get rid it. We went single stream last year so now the split body is all but obsolete. I guess you could use one side for trash and the other for recycle....

  • In march we are coverting to the single sort recycling. There have been talks of using this truck on a small subscription route to collect trash and recycle like you say.

  • Thats what we use ours for. Trash on the 60 side and single sort on the 40 side.

  • What kind of side loader is this? Two side packer?

  • One packer just like a normal side loader except this one has a divider in the middle. Google "labrie waste" to visit there website. They have pictures of how it works.

  • can u get more of this truck

  • I can although i do not drive it very much. Only once in awhile on a holiday i get to use it.

  • what truck do u usually drive

  • The Leach Rearloader with the Mack cab as seen in the other vides. My computer crashed and I cant upload any new vids till i get a new computer but i do have others

  • cool.tht suck ur comp crashed.were in ny do u work

  • thats soo cool! please make more! im subscribihng! hey, what do you do wit the contamination? ie the plastic bag. the contamination rate looks pretty low.

  • Thanks. All non recyclables collected go into a 30 yard compactor and then hauled to the incinerator.

  • sometimes you can use move the splitter chute back and forth to help push the materials into the packer blade

  • I'll keep that in mind next time I use it and if the shutes are fixed

  • that packer blade should go further into the body than that...it probably needs to be adjusted....is this a new truck?

  • there is that little wire on the switch which controls how far the blade moves which can be adjusted with the touch of a finger but its not my truck and i didn't want to move anything

  • That is about how far the blade extends on the Expert 2000.

  • suks that the crusher panel dosnt work

  • Hey nice work, love this split body, recycling MSL action!! Hope to see more after this series!

  • The camera did move making it look upside down. I've modified my mount so it doesn't happen again

  • it better not happen again..my neck is so fuckin sore! Just kidding..I worked on a truck exactly like this one..Labries are great..what are you packing ..about 2-3 tons of recycling???

  • there was about that on the truck at the time. Completely loaded it hold around 7 or 8 ton

  • Nice! Its a new truck, i think, so much color in the compactor.

  • its about 8 months old

  • Ever use that cart tipper? great vid

  • Did not use the cart tipper but I should have got video of it. Its a weird design

  • Don't think I've seen a split Labrie MSL, cool truck! Do you sometimes find it hard loading these? Guess jams like shown don't help.

  • Its alot easier than it looks. Bins full of paper that have been sitting in the rain can be somewhat difficult to throw down the shoot.

  • Oh I guess it's really just loose loading, maybe I'm thinking more about carts.

  • loved it

  • Never seen a truck like this. Cool

  • Because most companies are going to "Single Stream" (no sorting) these trucks will always be a rare find. They remind me of Shu-Paks split body MSL's

  • Cardboard jams suck but at least that cardboard is being recycled.

  • I feel like putting a match to the paper side and just letting it burn as i throw it in

  • What about the comingle side? it seems like it would all want to fall back down again until you really started to fill up.

  • It gets wedged in the opening pretty good. Some will fall back but its very little. Actually the more full the comingle is, the more fall back you get because the plastics act like a sponge
