i wanted to see the itialian bar, i can't imagine having a few drinks and then driving... brought back good memories, i went to columbia college many years ago.
This is actually NOT the road to Italian Bar, but it was right around it. My TomTom said "Logging Road" for a while. I'll have to revisit that area and see where the heck I went. I *think* it was called Five Mile Creek Road, right off of Big Hill Road.
yeah i used to live like 30 seconds from the road. i lived at the top of big hill. and that is 5 mile creek. and those guys in the truck are always there with those dirtbikes. hey you sound cute. i live in jamestown. check out my video and tell me what you think.
I'm trying to figure out what road you were originally on. I recognize Italian bar immediately. I lived off that road for about fifteen years and learned how to drive on it when I was 8 years old in a toyota camery. All wheel drive would have been nice. My mother taught me how to drive in case something happened to her because as you said it would probably be a hundred years before help arrives. The roads out side of Columbia can be deadly. I have listened to the tow trucks pull cars out.
OMG me and my wife got scared crapless on that road and it was dry. There is like noware to turn around you have to drive down to a camp spot to do that!
nice vid. i've got 2 tagged ITALIAN BAR ROAD IN POLARIS RANGER. I've lived on that road 7 years now and never get bored.

That moment at 2:22 would have scared me a lot more if I had been paying more attention and not just filming. :)

At the end of the road was a giant 4x4 F350 with 4 dirt bikers sitting around looking pretty surprised. :)

Yep, once you start down that road, there's only one way back. Two, if you count that long, long drop into the canyon. :)
