  • You can also have the barrel magna ported which reduces the recoil significantly and does not lengthen the desert eagle any more. it's bad to the bone and looks good also.

  • Where can I get a de with a compensator like this one?

  • @baseballCR2nd You can order it with the compensator from the factory.

  • @baseballCR2nd You can get it from magnum research. Go on their website, or give them a call, they will install it on your barrel, or you can order a barrel from them.

  • Iv been looking into desert eagles for some time now and iv been trying to decide on either the 357 or the 50ae. The massive recoil that iv seen in the 50ae is what made me look into a lower caliber but if the compensator reduces the recoil on that monster by that much i just might get the 50ae.

  • @bruklnbldbrother Why not a 44 mag? The 50AE with the compensator has similar recoil to that of a standard DE 44 mag (Mark XIX). Magnum Research also offers the 44 mag with a compensator (shoots like a 357). The 357 barely has any recoil to begin with, and Magnum has not offered a compensator for that caliber.

  • The whole gun is a compensator lol.

  • wow im getting mine done not much recoil at all nasty just plain ol nasty

  • can this compensator still be purchased anywhere?

  • @therealpimpchimp You can get the compensator from Magnum Research, it has to be installed by the factory, so you can just send the barrel in and they will install it for you. Check their website, or call the factory for info.

  • Nice.

  • dat was sexy

  • Questions. I have a mark 19 also. Im thinking of getting the muzzle brake. Is the gun as loud as before? Still a big huge boom? I just want to make sure the only thing that is affected is that it kicks less. If it lessens the boom and noise, i dont want it. Half the fun is seeing the WTF look on peoples face at the range....

  • @Lyrikz74 If anything it is louder because it is directing the gas straight out the sides rather than straight out the muzzle. This will turn a few more heads.

  • @joby369

Straight out the muzzle can't be entirely correct seeing as most pistol bullets are flat at the rear which would cause some part of the gas pressure to escape to the sides when it exits the barrel.

  • @VicariousReality7 True statement

  • does adding it change anything to the speed of the bullet?

  • How would you say the .50 DE recoils compensated VS uncompensated? Like a .44 magnum?

  • @stealthbeast Compensated it is very similar to the 44 mag, maybe even a little less recoil. The compensated 44 mag is like shooting a 22 lr pistol though!!

  • That is a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the idea.

  • @joby369 really, like a .22, whered u buy urs, ive been looking for one

  • Is it normal for my to get turned on by that kinda fire power?

  • ok, now thats a good video showing how effective the break is. I just uploaded mine shooting 300 grain HP at around 1475 fps, and it has significant jump and flash as seen in my slow motion video. seeing this I think the break may be worth it to hold the nose down a bit for heavy loads,

  • does anyone know where i could get a compensator for my .44 mag desert eagle???? i really want one but magnum research does not sell them anymore :(

  • @spaderacer07 If you have a Mark 19 you can buy them directly from Magnum Research. They are on the website.

  • @joby369 lol shit thanx, guess i was not looking hard enough and i forget they are also called muzzle breaks (duh) but thanx for the help

  • well I also wish I never saw this vid, because now MRI is going to get more of my money! that break makes my glock 29 look like it has more recoil!! it also seems to actually suppress some of the flash, which is useful for magnum calibers... awesom vid BTW 5*

  • i think the recoil is what makes shooting the desert eagle fun. i would never put one on my .50 cal. i am impressed with the compensator but i think it just takes the fun out of shooting it.

  • great! now make the desert eagle's mechanism stop jamming every few mags and it might actually be more useful than looking cool.

  • The jamming issues can be caused by a bad magazine, my gun is very reliable. BTW AWESOME video! 5/5

  • then my uncle has a SHITTY magazine. it keeps jamming every other mag.

  • Yeah, put a bullet in his magazine and look at how straight it sits, my magazine lips used to hold the bullet so crooked that it caused the gun to jam. Not anymore.

  • great idea, but my uncle sold his because he told me it was a waste of money, and his berreta m9, usp .45 and 1911 is good enough for home defense.

  • @rickthegunslinger my eagle used to have similar problems, what eagle does your uncle own? mines a 44 and has become very reliable with the right ammo. ive never had a failure with federal, magtech or fiocchi with the latter 2 being my choice for plinking and hydra shok for defense. IMHO whas lacking is the same thing that 1911 owners had to put up with for years, and thats a selection of aftermarket gun smithing services. the Eagles operation is basically a gas carbine, a very reliable design>

  • @Defconfx

i dont remember. last time i fired it i was like 9 years old and i didnt know anything about guns. all i remember was the fact my wrists hurt like hell.

  • the areas that need refining on the eagle are magazine, springs, and extractor. a slightly larger claw with a stiff extractor spring would make FTE's a thing of the past,, A thicker mag base to tighten up the space between the mag well and base plate would prevent too much movement and overinsertion which can happen with a full mag. finally, more fine tuned spring rates for different power levels of ammunition, some different spring rates would help. BTW u can see me shooting my DE in my vids

  • @rickthegunslinger check the mag springs, for what ever reason all my mags had weak springs. heres what I did to make my gun reliable, I called promag and ordered some of their mag springs which are a few coils longer and thus stiffer. IMHO the MRI springs are not up to the job of lifting all that heavy lead reliably. another issue I'd like to see addessed is the bumper thingy in the extractor, mine took a set and caused issues, which I fixed by shimming it. finally look at ammo...

  • @rickthegunslinger you have to use factory mags and choose your ammo carefully and it will not jam, plus you have to make sure you hold it correctly..... went to shoot mine about 4 days ago, put 200 rounds through it flawlessly, not one jam.....

  • @spaderacer07 like i said before, i cant do anything about it. my uncle already sold his desert eagle.

  • what, where the hells the recoil!! haha. That compensator really works. I've heard about it but was having my doubts about it

  • dude... Yes!

  • Thats Awesome
