  • what kind of film did you use?

  • What a camera to buy as your first Polaroid! And from impossible, too. They charge you a ton!

  • My dad has always been an early adopter and he bought one of these when I was just a little kid. Everyone wanted to play with it and like most early adopters he loved showing it off but rarely let anyone else have any fun. I have it now and I'd about given up on finding film for it. Nothing is more fun on a summer day than whipping this thing out while everyone else is sporting poncy little digital cameras. It's suave, retro and still impressive, even 40 years later. Enjoy it!

  • @polaroidinstantfilm the sx-70 he was using does not have a tripod socket, only the model 2 sx-70s have that.

  • Awesome camera

  • How much did you buy the sx 70?

  • @vickzter around 260€

  • @iRaymond OMG! you paid that much and they didn't even clean it?.....you can get them on ebay for alot less.

  • @franscartoons what makes you think they didn't clean it? it's been refurbished and is in perfect state.

  • @polaroidinstantfilm Thanks a bunch for your tips, I need to learn a lot, I'm a true newbie to Polaroid.

I have a tripod btw, too bad the camera doesn't have a mount I can attach it too, guess I'll need to buy a special tripod huh?

    Thanks for watching!

  • @iRaymond @iRaymond The model 1 doesn't have built in tripod mount, but you can buy the mount separatly.

the model 2 has the built in tripod mount, and is using plastic instead of metal.

  • The price of film, for the quality of it is rather poor - just hope they can get better batches out in the future.

  • @nerdishcouk yes, that was my thought too. I'm pretty sure that the Impossible Project will make better film soon, they're still experimenting. The guy I spoke with at the Impossible Project factory said it won't take more than 2 months till a new film is gonna be released. Can't wait!

  • Omy! It's so pretty I want one, I think I should look for a poloroid camera alone for the prettyness I would buy one.

  • vet jaloerssss !
