@PurpleStrawz It means you're actually able to use the iDevice to it's full extent (ie. get apps from outside the App Store and install themes). It's easy and quick. Be careful though - it voids your warranty. But don't worry, if your iDevice ever stops working, open iTunes on your computer and restore it before returning it to Apple to get it fixed.

The DemoApp is basically an app that repeats a .mov file when it's placed in the correct folder in the iDevice.

It's mainly used for iPod Touches/iPhones on display at Apple Stores and such.

I know ppl keep talking crap on this video but I have come across this "Demo.app" in my applications folder while in SSH. I have seen what is in it. all thats inside is just, demo pictures or screenshots of the calculator app and the notes app. There is nothing in the app that will allow it to function like a real app. That is why it keeps crashing in Springboard. I'll make a video showing the files and the pictures/screenshots inside and post a video response about it.

Ok so the app DEMO APP is not corrupted in your case. I have the same and what it is is a resource that Mobile Substrate(your jailbroken code processor) uses for more ram and processing power. Its not going to work because all it is, is pure code. Nothing special. So yeah hope this helps! :)
