to play on live you can use lt frimware thats what its made for to bypass live checks but thats if lt was the only frimware mode you did on your console if you had ixtreame 1.6 below or up then im sorry to say that you need a new console that has lt frimware

@devrian Firstly which drive are you using? And did you flash it yourself?

1) Make sure you flashed the right drive with the right brand(liteon,samsung etc) firmware.

2) If you are 360 has aged like 1 year or more, there could be a possible lens failure. But if it still runs originals then its ok.

3) Lens get burnt all the time when flashing.

4) Play dvd also occurs when using older firmwares, without activate iso.

no activate iso needed and there is no wave restriction with this firmware. Plays every backup regardless of wave number.

You can get the discs in stores in asia or buy em online from certain pro piracy asian websites.

I can personally vouch for LT being safe on XBL. I connect to Live every time I use it, and I have been using it since a couple days after it's launch.
