The 360 version feels far more emotional, almost reminiscent of U2's past. Even Bono's childish antics with the microphone add to the feeling of awe. Bono's action of hanging up the flashy coat on the microphone while both rise into the center of the claw during WoWY add to the feeling of reminiscence.

The truth is, what they had previously was better than what they had become.
They don't teach parody, instinct, or life experience at school. Nor proper capitalization, punctuation, and spelling (i.e. - 'carrer') evidently. This is such an amazing song. I actually have to say though I'm a little dissapointed in this performance. It's still an 11 by any other bands standards, but I think it sounds a lot better now on the 360 tour, maybe they jsut hadn;t figured out quite how to play it love yet, that could explain why it was only played a few times during zoo tv and then seemed retired until they brought it back for this tour.

U2 used to be a really committed band when the time to take action was needed; Bono always said what was needed to say, not only in the poverty issue (which is now the only thing he speaks about), but about the injustices of war and the need of proper civil rights. You had bono waving a peace flag, singing for Sarajevo, dressed as a soldier. With the most combative songs in music since The Clash... then the Iraq war exploded.. did Bono said anything? Did he complained? That's how I feel betrayed

I understand what you mean. I seriously miss this era and swagger about them. Very sarcastic, somewhat personal while also being political. I wish they called this current Bush administration just like they did the first one.
