  • lol. um. no. robin tunney does not look like kristen stewart. tunney is much hotter and a much better actress.

  • Muy buena versión y la mas hermosa Kay Hanley que haya visto

  • Wow is the Blondie influence ever apparent. Great song… loved this soundtrack

  • It is still a great movie, I like it a lot!! And the soundtrack is fabulous :)

  • I LOVED THIS SOUNDTRACK, IT HAD VERY GOOD MUSIC.

  • Kay Hanley is so fucking adorable <3

  • bra-less nipple bounce scene. :D

  • I love how they cover so many awesome 80's songs!

  • i love this movie so much and song

  • YEESss...Beatches!!!

  • Although nothing beats The Cars' original......this cover isn't half bad. Note former Car Greg Hawkes on the keyboards..........

  • I always wondered why people thought 'Chris' in the movie was hot. He's about as hot as a refrigerated flannel.

  • @electrokittie I agree.of course I'm not female so my opinion as to some guy's "Hotness" may not be of any consequence..lol....I did think he was rather unattractive and disliked his character, which reminded me of so many jocks types in high school. After this he was cast as the main character in the TV series "Jericho",which I enjoyed very much..go figure.....

  • TNT Plunger 8 Track Tape Player

  • This girl is awesome!

  • Hey misterpress...I was at that Peoria show too. They totally rocked. Unbelieveable. We went down to Big Al's and partied with them after the show. Great bunch of people. They simply don't make bands like this anymore. It is revolting for me to hear Kay does backups for that talentless, soon to be skank Miley Cyrus.

  • im the dangerous type

  • I love Kay voice too!

  • Love this cover...I saw them in Peoria IL in 1997....they f***ing killed, totally brilliant. All I remember is me and my buddies hoisting people up in the air and on stage and it being as hot as a furnace. Great band!

  • yeah it's slightly different that the sdtrk version, missed the intro, will give it another listen. only a little different, still AWEsome.

  • OOOH MY FUIUHFIUDHFIUDHFUDHFIING GOD!!! I BEN LOOKING FOR THIS VIDEO FOR LIKE A WHOLE DECADE!!!!!!!!!!!!AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH awesome.

  • I don't like covers but I love this version well done Letters to Cleo

  • Love You Kay...

  • I normally don't like cover songs, especially of classics... but I actually really like this version... (and I'm a HUGE fan of The Cars!)

  • Who were the Cars?

    JK :P

  • @rekkof if oyu are talking about the band, they have done the songs: my best freind's girl, drive, and also let the good times roll.

  • I was just kidding, they were one of my favorite groups in the late 70's and early 80's.

    :)

  • Cars keyboard player Greg Hawkes is playing keys in the video, nice touch.

  • saw the original cars backin boston in 77 or 78 they were awsome

  • i've been looking for half an hour to figure out what song this was from the craft... thank you!

  • Actually, it screams late '70's...but, you know. HAWKES RULES!

  • this song give me a lots of energy...

  • me too..I love it

  • OMG i heard this song before but didnt knew the singer, damn shes kinda hot lol

  • Wow, this just screams mid 90's...love it!

  • We are the weirdos mister lol.

  • HAWKES!!!

  • She is sooo hot! Like a Mandy Moore from the north side of Melrose...

  • I love this song. The first time I heard this was when I watched THE CRAFT for the first time back in 1996. Great memories.

  • the music video version is different from the soundtrack version totally different intro and beat is slower also the way she sings it is different in "some parts". anyone else notice this or am i the only one who has noticed the difference between the two songs for the last 13 years! you can tell the difference if you play both songs the soundtrack version and the one off here side by side at the same time then you will see. :)

  • like at 3:02 that little part she says "yeah" that isn't in the CD soundtrack version of the song among other parts. how i hate! when record company's release "music video versions" you cant get on CD :(

  • @tromeoandjuliet i have the soundtrack on my ipod and listen to it all the time... you're right. the video version of this song is different for some reason.

  • @tromeoandjuliet absolutely, i only have ears for the soundtrack version! definitely a different version, paced and sung differently

  • @tromeoandjuliet No, you're not the only one, I noticed that right away as well...

  • @tromeoandjuliet depends on what type of drugs im indulging in at that moment.

  • @tromeoandjuliet I agree it is different(:

  • @tromeoandjuliet I notice...

  • @tromeoandjuliet I believe this is the version of the "When Did We Do That?" b-sides collection. The version from the soundtrack is so much better and it's the one in the movie. So, why there are multiple versions is beyond me.

  • I love this cover and Kay looks spectacular here.

  • Everyone has said so many times that "sarah" look like "bella"

    i see no resemblence.

  • @RainKrewskater Nope Tunney is stunning. She looks like herself not some kid. I also see no resemblence. Especially with Robin having that very distinctive dimples(s) on her face.

  • @RainKrewskater I think Robin Tunney (Sarah) looks more like Alexis Bledel.

  • she kinda looks like kate moss

  • a little like Mandy Moore

  • still love this song!

  • Hmmm, the keyboard player looks a bit familiar....

  • I believe the keyboardist is Greg Hawkes, of the Cars, giving a flavor of the original.

  • Yes it is Greg Hawkes!

  • thank ya so much

  • This is such a cute video. It's not like the filth older generations lathered themselves in like "Elizabeth Montgomery in BEWITCHED" or THE EXORCIST" lol@u

  • Great version.

How hot is the lead singer?!?

  • she looks like scarlette...

  • wow cool ^_*

  • I love this song, LOVE the band. I just have to ask.. How come you cant find "Alouette and me" anywhere on you tube?? My fav song by them.. :-/

  • Surprisingly not a bad take on a classic Cars' song.

  • I really like this song and I'm also a fan of the Movie and it's soundtrack.

  • I've loved this song ever since I first heard it in the movie THE CRAFT. Thanks for posting.

  • the vid looks a bit strange with clips of a bright glittery singer and clips of a dark gothic film.

but i love them both still!

  • its not a "gothic film". quit lableing it man

  • i was not labelling it, i was refering to the gothic imagery and dark portral of wicca

  • It is sort of gothic.

  • The fact that it was an 80s song done in the 90s and sounds 90ish just makes it timeless, especially since every thing sounds like in was made in the 80s now anyway

  • kay hanley is hotness

  • The craft. Great movie

  • great song......great movie

  • the name of the movie is the craft

  • hi can you tell me the name of the movie???

  • Freakin Kay Hanley ....I STILL wanna get with her...

  • supa cool

  • Can i touch u? r u 'out of touch' ? uknown like "E" on the fuel gauge?

  • If you've no memories that cause your tongue to part your lips, -------i------pity u

  • Kay HAnley

  • This song's got a real good 80's feeling! :)

  • This cover is from the 90s.

  • I know. But it sounds so cool like the 80's! ;)

  • no offense but....this sounds nothing like an 80s song hahah

    but w/e thats your opinion

  • it was actually released by the Cars in 1979... so in actuality ..it really IS an 80's song...considering it didn't get major airplay until the 80's ..

  • really haha but wouldnt that make it a late 70s song? and when i posted that i was being stupid, if she wasnt singing it, it would song like an 80s song haha

  • This song rocks, the movie rocks, and Fairuza stole the show (delightfully so)- 5 stars, man... :-)

  • im sorry, which movie is this again??

  • The Craft

  • I love Letters To Cleo :)

    xo

  • Kay and Mike rock. I went to a Red Sox game or two with Mike and used to hang out on occasion with them back in the day in Boston.

    I wish you continual success.

  • Kickass song, kickass movie. How I yearn for the 90s to come back!

  • im there with u

  • les smith45 you took the words right out of my mouth lol :))) the more i do listen to this song the better, sexier, and more delicious this song sounds :)) very rare for an original song to be remade and be this gooooood !! :P

  • i like!

  • The more and more i listen to this version the better it gets. Just goes to show you how great a song it really is.

  • patriotsbiker great thoughtout comments good to hear someone that agrees that making comparisions are a waste of time. I am a huge thorogood fan and most of his songs are covers and i (being bias) think his versions are way better than the originals (forgive me chuck berry) George's slide guitar makes the originals better. But i have to disagree on them making the song their own. Thorogoods cover of Move it on over is still Hank Williams song. I do think this is a good cover of the cars song.

  • great comment see my reply to it :))

  • I don't know who Thorogood is; But I do know that I disagree with you. Some artists like Thalia have covered a whole bunch of songs (Just like you claim Thorogood to have done). Thalia covered Alaska y Dinarama's song "A Quien Le Importa?" Yes Thalia made the song more famous, because she sang it in modern times, with more tech. to promote the song, and for the new generations. Even then Alaska y Dinarama's version of the song still has better rating than Thalia's. Hank's song has better rating.

  • @TITANICLUSITANIA Thanks for the reply. Hank's song no doubt has a better rating you call it. It is a country western song & had a huge following. Though most of the old country & western fans are dying every day & not many people listen to it. George took the country song & turned it into a rock song. Same lyrics completely different sounding songs. Still Hanks song, but George is keeping it alive with a different generation of listeners. I love rock music, hate country so GT version is better

  • @LesSmith45 I'm not too sure of about this situation regarding Thorogood, but I am assuming that the same thing happened to him as Thalia. Alaska y Dinarama's version of "A Quien Le Importa?" Received better rating, and performed better in sales. Was this the same situation with Hanks?

  • The only group to ever do justice to a song from The Cars. Kudos.

  • lol she has the same hair colour than geri haliwell from the spice girls

  • i love this song

  • I love this song! Great job Kay and crew. BTW-It is cool seeing Greg (from The Cars) in the video.

  • love this song

  • Kay looks absolutely beautiful in this video. I've loved this song since the first time I've heard it.

  • I've listened to The Cars version countless times over the past 30 years and never really noticed any mistakes.

This is a nice remake. Cool to see Greg Hawkes in it.

  • bueno, buenisimo lo de las letters to cleo , hace mucho que no veia un video tan nineth , que linda chica la cantante exitiran todavia letters to cleo ? I dn´t know

  • To me, this band's strength was always being able to take a song and make it their own. "Cruel To Be Kind" and "I Want You To Want Me" are very good examples of their skill. Whether this is better than the Cars' version or not is a waste of time. I will say, that for being 20 years apart, their music is quite similar.....and they were both good bands.

  • god i LOVE 90's music...

  • stacey jones American hifi is in this video as the drummer

  • I can't believe I'm hearing such B.S. about the CARS... the whole garage sound of the CARS is what made them special...and the "mistakes" you speak about are non-existent...this shitis an insult to any true CARS fan...

  • I think you are over valuing the term "mistakes". A missed note or a partial chord strum is flavor, not error. It's what takes a boring studio effort into a somewhat live band setting. A nice break from the over-engineered works of so many acts. I have no idrea how they recorded the first album, but I'm willing to ebt that after Candeo, they put a lot more time and effort into the studio. Hence, a lot of lost flavor.

  • awesome

  • This is better than the original by the Cars. At least LTC doesnt make any mistakes (there are several errors in the Cars version).

  • Good but not better.

I guess you had to be there the first time around.

    Great keyboards though. ;-) :-D

  • Yeah, I was there the first time round (I'm 44) and if you listen to the Cars yo can hear Greg Hawkes making many mistakes on the keyboards. Kinda like watching the same movie 100 times, you forget the movie and start seeing the screw-ups. The Cars made a LOT of them on their first album, but more on Candy-O (I have all the early Car's stuff....I love them)

  • I love that movie.

  • The sins of the Father are "RECOMENDED BY DOCTORS" !

  • i couldnt hear how this chic did josie from the josie and the pussycats movie, but now i do....

  • Cool version, nice vid, awesome Band & again great Singer. the movie is WILD! =0O TANKS!

  • her tattoos just keep changing places!HAHAHAH

  • yeah...? reversed shots?HAHAHAH

  • my fav part is with the synthesizer part

  • yeah thats the awesome part

    i agree

  • wat is the movie called that starts the video

  • It's called "The Craft." Came out in 1996.

  • id hold her snatch tight lol

  • Damn..shes so HOT...Love the way she moves!!!!!!!!

  • yeah she is quite nice on the eyes

  • love itt <33..

  • oh sweet sweet kay! i crushed sooooo hard on her back in the day:-)

  • un video clasico de los 9o´s, que me recuerda a los locos años del secundario ,de estar mirando tele hasta las 5 de la mañana ,juntamente con los de hole pixies y kurdt - thanks

  • I've actually been trying to figure out who did this version and I went all this time without knowing it was them. Love this version and the original.

  • wow! She Is HOTT!

  • yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is it just me or does her tatto switch arms? like in one scene it's on her left arm and then it's on her right in the next one ... maybe I'm just losing it.

  • She has tattoos on both arms.

  • But they do switch ars, when she's on the spinny chair and she says "The dangerous type" they switch. Or something like that, point is, they switch...

  • ....Wait. Yeah, they do switch arms. The tribal's on the left on one clip, then it's back on the right in another part. Good eye!

  • Yes, you'll notice they mirror & repeat the footage on all the members in the band. It's just how they edited the video. I'm sure in real life the tattoo stayed right where it was.

  • This is brill thanx for puttin it up

  • I like listening to the music video after I listen to the song on C.D. it refreshes it.

  • ii l this Song && ii L the craft =]

  • Love this song!

  • Well , well , well. Now when you compare Kates eye language to Susan Hoffs of the Bangles, Kate wins hands down. There's alot going on in there.
