There is a reason why Health Care should be available to everyone. This is just an extreme example of what could go wrong when people, especially those with a mental disability, are not treated correctly.

I know there are a lot of homeless people in Canada and the United States that are there because of mental illness, some are there because of poor times, but many just cant cope and find it easier to not have an address.

I hear ya. The problem with people with Bipolar disorder is that unexpected life events can trigger a cycle. If she were monitored correctly a change in dosage could have helped prevent this tragedy. Family members and friends should know the signs of an episode so that they can intervene and help. I'm not blaming anyone except her for her behavior, but if people are informed this might have been prevented.
