  • Hey Satch....Yep tuning arghhhhh I have tried everything and so did everyone else...I am going to add the original and go from there...the axe is freaking awesome and plays so well with 11 thru 52's on it I just have to get it back on the road.....Thankx for stopping in and saying Hi....

  • Have a wonderful Thanksgiving !!!!!

  • Good job! That's one great lookin' axe too, by the way!

  • Beto thank you very much ....feel good to finally posting something....

  • 4. As I'm sure you know,a proper intonation and action set up can do wonders for small problems such as this.. Make sure everything is up to spec!

    5. Check the string block clamps on the trem body for creases made by the strings as well. These also can be ordered new from various places on the net...

PS... Great playing as well! Always enjoy your videos.. Keep pickin'!

  • Thankx for the great info and input..I have checked and recheck added grapgite everywhere and the guitar was set up at guitar center and plays wonderful and is in tune all the way down and up the neck...I may just order another trem and go from there and if it still goes out of tune out on inter state 77 it goes lmao.....Ray PS: Thankx for commenting on my playing..

  • 2.Many times floating trems develop tuning probs from dull or damaged "knife edges" (the trem part that pivots on the large mounting bolts). Also inspect the actual mounting bolts.

3.Old trem springs can get "hung up" at times".If they are pretty old.replace as needed.

  • Mr. Mullins,

Just some random tips with trems when they have tuning problems..

    1. Check for creasing on the nut below the locking blocks and under the locking blocks. This occurs from putting "The Grip O'Death" on the locks when tightening. If creased, order new blocks and/or a locking nut.

  • Hey now....lol it's got problems..won't stay in tune at all...keeps going flat..I tried to send it to jackson and they said the warranty had run out and no one I know can get this thing to stay in tune or set it up to stay in tune...I was going to block the trem but I love to use the bar alot..... any help will be greatly appreciated.....Ray

  • Dude I want that axe!

Oh well, it's in good hands ;)

    Nice jam.
