I grew up in the space age and it is so sad not to see another liftoff. A dream died today. No more will we hear NASA's famous liftoff sequence. Many children dream of becoming astronauts. Now all they can do is look up at the stars and wonder what it would have been like.

@MaryMacElveen You do know that it was not the last of it right? Think you need to do some research into why it has stop. did you know that NASA is working with GMC for robot technology and are in the process for developing a new shuttle.. 1981 was just a pin prick. This is the beginning.
