Well done mate... even though anyway you spread the gospel is a good way i think this is one of the coolest ways yet... i have showed this to many of my mates and some of them are non - Christians and they seemed to enjoy it a lot... what you've done here is awesome.
chapter and verse please... I need to see in the bible where modern music is Satan. I need to see in the Bible that the G note is from Satan. I can't wait for your response....
Christian rap---James 4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
@filoIII I have to agree with you!! Rap is of the world, and there's no such thing as "christian" rap!! It's either worldly, or it's christian! There's no middle ground with God!
Kingdom songs; sung unitedly all over the world by true Christians, aka Jehovah's Witnesses. All the songs in the book are pure expressions of worship to the true God, Jehovah and were written as such from day 1.
@LetsTalkTrueFaith I don't think you quite understood my question - my question was not about the lyrical content of the music, but the FORM. The musical form of the kingdom songs is congregational singing, which is not a musical form invented by the Watchtower society, but it probably doesn't really matter very much, as we're a bit off topic now, as regards the video.
@LetsTalkTrueFaith Day 1 was when? The WT has no real connection to Christian history. It is the invention of a man you would now consider a rabid apostate according to your present teachings.
The subject of James 4:4 was adultery not music. So in order for you to make a case, you must take the verse our of it's original context. 1 John 2:15 isn't about music either. You insert your meaning into it, then interpret the verse with your inserted meaning. I too can do that watch...
@pretoshohmoofc Can I become a drunkard again to try to supposedly win drunkards? How bout fornication? Can I go rent me a hooker so I can win her to Christ. P.S.-it's committing adultery against God by cheating on Him w/ the world. He who gives himself to the world divorces himself from God, and breaks the band of that holy and spiritual marriage. It's all encompassing.
@filoIII You are comparing apples to oranges. Known sins to something that is not forbidden in the Bible. In order for you to make your case, you MUST show me that music is wrong. Or modern music is wrong. Or you have no case. That's why I said, "I too can do that, watch..." THEN,,,I quoted 1 cor 9:22.
Music was NOT the subject of 1cor9:22. Anyone can take 1 John 2:15 out of context. Mennonites use this verse to justify not driving cars or using lightbulbs.
@pretoshohmoofc I can show you how worldly musick passed off as godly is wrong. Let's start w/ "Christian" rock. To "rock n' roll" is a slang term for fornicating in the back of a car. Does God endorse fornicating musick? “Listen, rock’n roll ain’t church. It’s nasty business. You gotta be nasty too. If you’re goody, goody, you can’t sing or play it.” "It's better for me to play with guys because Rock 'n' Roll has such an aggressive attitude."--Lita Ford
@filoIII I'm really not interested in your opinion. Just chapter and verse please. If you can't give me any biblical proof of what you are saying is true; then you really have no argument.
@pretoshohmoofc 2Cor 6:14-15 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?--God brought me out of it. You say it's ok to go back to? There's your book, chapter and verse. You're an example of Amerikan Christianity at it's finest. Being like the world to get them to church isn't biblical.
@filoIII Of coarse this is based on the assumption that Christian artists are yoked together with unbelievers. Which is untrue. Which is based on the assumption that Modern music is wrong. You are also basing your coming out of secular Rock music as being the same as Christian Rock music. I too, came out of secular Rock music, but I did not go back into it. One does not give glory to God, the other does. So again, you are comparing apples to oranges.
@pretoshohmoofc Yep, body-surfing, moshing, taking off clothes, and head banging are definately Christian traits. Really makes one want to repent and become a Christian no doubt. When Little Richard and David Bowie say Rock is of the devil, they're not talking about the words, but the style of play. The beat. The back beat. You made another faulty assumption that everyone in the realm of Christian musick are actually Christians. I've warned you, but you're ripe for the devil's picking.
@filoIII Look, as I first stated, either show me a verse where music is wrong, or I've proved that you are not bible based. You didn't.
All you did was to base your beliefs on a Allegorical interpretation in which I too can use 2Cor 6:14-15 to prove that Christians shouldn't go to disney world. You're not Bible based, and you are trying to defend a position that was refuted 25 years ago. There are millions upon millions of Christians who have proved it to be Godly and a great ministering tool.
@pretoshohmoofc You would be right about Disney. Their movies are steeped in the occult. Reject it if you want. I never said musick is wrong. You're the one saying all musick is right, which is false. Remember, Lucifer had instruments inside him. He knows how to fool people w/ it. Eph 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making MELODY in your heart to the Lord-your beloved rock & rap don't have melody. I'll take the old paths-you do whatever.
@filoIII No, you are saying that a STYLE of music is wrong. This is the basis of your argument. And Disney wasn't the point, I already showed you that you can take lightbulbs, cars, etc and insert it into any verse that you want and interpret it anyway that you want.
This is another good reason why you are not bible based. You get this idea from Ezekiel 28:13 KJV “The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created,”
But the Hebrew word neqeb translated as "pipes" is A STONE!!! Not a musical instrument
the ESV translates this verse as "every precious stone was your covering, sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, emerald..."
@filoIII ePH 5:19 Is using the word "Psalms". Psalms in greek is psalmos and just means to sing along with musical instruments. Which is exactly what we are doing. The very same Psalms 33:3 also tells us to sing to him a NEW SONG!! Or do you excusively just play Hebrew music? Which I doubt.
"Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts."
@pretoshohmoofc "Rock 'n' roll is 99% sex."--John Oates of Hall and Oates
"Rock has always been THE DEVIL'S MUSIC . . . I believe rock and roll is dangerous . . . I feel we're only heralding SOMETHING EVEN DARKER THAN OURSELVES."--David Bowie
"I’M TRYING TO LOOK SEXY to sell a record..."–Amy Grant----You mean sweet little Amy Grant is a fraudster???
@filoIII You quote secular artists to make your case against Christians? Well, sex has destroyed millions of lives so, we Christian married couples shouldn't have sex? No, Sex within the right context (married) is quite pleasing to God. It was HIS idea. So too is his creation, Music.
I also noticed that letsTalkTruefaith agrees with you. Newsflash. He is a member of a non-christian cult. So who is NOW in bed with the enemy?
@pretoshohmoofc I quoted "Christian" musick's beloved Amy Grant, who said she's trying to be sexy. Is that of God. The creators of rock said it's of the devil. Who are you to disagree w/ them?
@filoIII Army Grunt? Never judge something by it's abuse. Or in other words, You cannot blame the game of soccer based on the hooligans that follow it.
I personally believe that this quote was taken out of context.
Rock music came out of Gospel music, So If I use your logic, Taditional Gospel music is the root of evil music. Wouldn't I be right? I AM using your own logic.
@pretoshohmoofc Jerry Lee Lewis was asked, “Are you still playing the devil’s music?” He replied, “Yes, I am. But you know it’s strange, the same music that they kicked me out of school for is the same kind of music they play in their churches today. The difference is, I know I am playing for the devil and they don’t.”
2Cor 6:14-15 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers...what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial...
@filoIII And again, music which was created by God, has fallen into sin. I too can compare sex, another of God's creation being pervertide and abused. Jimmy Swaggart came out of this very same family. Jerry Lee Lewis was his cousin. So I too can say the root of Jimmy Swaggart's gospel (which I do like) music is based on sex and rebellion!
The apostle Paul compares those who forbid what isn't forbidden as "doctrines of demons". Why? Beacuse these men were telling the church that it was wrong to get married or to eat meat. I asked you to show me ONE SINGLE verse that tells me that music is wrong. You couldn't.
@filoIII In order for you to make your case, you MUST first insert your meaning into the verse, THEN, interpret the verse WITH that inserted meaning. Menninites (Amish) do this all the time. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers. Unbeliverers drive cars and use lightbulbs. So YOU are yoked together with unbelievers. See the logic?
@filoIII Paul even finishes off 1 Tim 4:4 with "for everything created by God is good, and nIther is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.
The word of God does NOT FORBID MUSIC! And it is God's creation. God is the creator, not Satan. In order for you to argue this, you must elavate Satan to the position of Creator. Giving Satan the status of the almighty.
@pretoshohmoofc "I'm the Rock 'n Roll singer that you heard about through the years. . . I was directed and commanded by another power. The power of DARKNESS. . . The power of the DEVIL. SATAN."
"My true belief about Rock 'n' Roll — is this: I believe this kind of music is DEMONIC. . . A lot of the beats in music today are taken from voodoo, from the voodoo DRUMS."--Little Richard
Shall I continue. Leave the world's musick to the world and stop being like the world to get them to church.
@filoIII "...stop being like the world to get them to church."
Again, you're just begging the question. Either show me a scripture verse that supports you, or,... I'll consider you unable to. I need a verse that connects "world" to "music".
This is no Christian. Not with hair like that!! 1 Cor. 11:14.....He would not be acceptable for baptism until he decided to cut it as short as every other true Christian male......plus, the beard, while not being against scripture, gives one the appearance of being VERY worldly....God's people in this part of the world do no wear them for that reason....
@LetsTalkTrueFaith You judge hypocritically. I know this man and you clearly don't. If you knew your scripture, you'd know God judges the heart, NOT the hair. As far as 1 Cor 11:14 goes, how about you continue reading through vs 16. Paul was addressing their local customs but clearly pointed out that he had no such practices nor ANY of the churches of God. Jesus said in MT 12:33-37 out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks & that your words either justify you or condemn. Where you at?
@Shiloh2rtn Jesus did not have long hair. And it was part of being a Jew that he had a beard. But, like the old saying, if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck-----it's likely a duck! I would not peg this person as a Christian if I met him on the street---first appearances say a LOT......plus God's people do not have long hair (the men, that is), and we generally do not grow beards as it gives the appearance of contradicting Jesus' words of being NO PART OF THE WORLD----Satan's world!!
@LetsTalkTrueFaith He may well have done, if he had been a nazirite, (devoted to God) which he may well have been. What you are saying is so off course, I suspect that all may not be what it seems here.
@LetsTalkTrueFaith He may well have done, if he had been a nazirite, (devoted to God) which he may well have been. What you are saying is so off course, I suspect that all may not be what it seems here.
@LetsTalkTrueFaith Can you point to one example where Jesus was rough on someone for how they dressed? Yet we have oodles of examples of Jesus being tough on the ones (Pharisees) whose dress would have been impeccable.
Do you know what a Nazarite vow was?
Jesus said to one of those Pharisees, "You must be born again."
@LetsTalkTrueFaith You are dense. Rom 10:9,10 "...with the heart one BELIEVES unto RIGHTEOUSNESS and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." It's FAITH not hair! You are so stuck on external appearance that you are blind to the Word of God. He does not call you to "peg" who's a Christian but to proclaim the Gospel. Why don't you just try listening to his artistic way in which he does this? Jesus declared the Pharisees as white washed tombs externally but rotten bones inwardly.
@Shiloh2rtn Wrong. Appearances say MUCH. You have two men who are coming to you for an interview, both have identical backgrounds and qualifications. 1 wears a proper suit and tie for the interview, and the other wears something more like what the clown in this video is wearing......which one would you be more likely to hire, since they are both equally qualified? The statistics don't lie: The neatly dressed/groom one. He dresses as tho he wants the job, not the nattily, sloppily dressed clown!!
@LetsTalkTrueFaith You make a straw man argument. You say that both men being interviewed are equally qualified in your example yet you said of the man in the video - he can't possibly be equally Christian to the JWs - because of his hair and of how he dresses. You went from a top-down argument to a bottom - up argument. Holds no water.
@LetsTalkTrueFaith Jason is not on a Job interview. Your red hearings don't deter me. But I'll end it here. All that can be said at this point is that it appears you have joined the ranks of the new Pharisees and seem clueless to fact of it. Your "job interview" before the Almighty is coming soon.....hope you fair well. I shall leave you to ponder the meaning of Luke 18:9-14. What you place your trust IN... will determine your ETERNAL destiny. This fact is inescapable. Consider this well.
@The1hope4all People like letstalktruefaith need to be packing their you-tube bags and getting ready to stop posting comments on these videos. The July Study edition of the watchtower counsels against posting comments to apostates blogs. I think videos would be viewed the same. We'll see how many are willing to obey the "Slave"
@LetsTalkTrueFaith People who wear suits and ties, that abuse Children, aren't christian either. Don't be so quick to judge, lest you be judged in the same manner. (see Matt. 7:1-5)
@LetsTalkTrueFaith What does his appearance have to do with his beliefs? NOTHING. You cannot tell the heart of a person by how they dress or the length of their hair. It's like that old saying - don't judge a book by its cover. T-shirt & jeans or suit & tie, long hair or short - makes ZERO difference when it comes to belief. Crooked lawyers, corrupt politicians, shady business men also wear a suit & tie - this doesn't necessarily mean they are Christian.
Outstanding Brian ...Thank you very much...all our fees is like spraying Cologne on a corpse ..It stinks..like filthy rags our deeds are without Jesus Christ.."God in the flesh" giving us a chance at righteousness by the blood of Jesus...praise the Lord Jesus Christ..Amen
@LetsTalkTrueFaith Oh sure, NOTHING Christian about it - only that Jesus ROSE FROM THE DEAD to open the gates of Heaven for us. Yeah sure, nothing Christian at all. You know what's not Christian? Not believing in the divinity of Jesus. THAT's un-Christian.
@LeftyBlue Jesus never commanded his followers to observe his resurrection...but he DID command us to observe the anniversary of his death....neither of which have anything to do with the pagan holiday named after the false god ashtoreth/ishtar.....the one called "Easter"!! Look it up......it's all pagan.....it comes from pre-Christian times and is TOTALLY offensive to the true God and His Son, Jesus!!!
@LetsTalkTrueFaith Actually the word "Easter" came from the name Estre - meaning "light, day or spring". Who said we couldn't name something from another language? It doesn't change the celebration that is the resurrection? Do you think that Jesus wouldn't want us to celebrate his resurrection after the long sorrowful season of Lent?
In The Two Babylons, by Hislop, we read: “What means the term Easter itself? It is not a Christian name. It bears its Chaldean origin on its very forehead. Easter is nothing else than Astarte, one of the titles of Beltis, the queen of heaven, whose name, . . . as found by Layard on the Assyrian monuments, is Ishtar. . . . Such is the history of Easter. The popular observances that still attend the period of its celebration amply confirm the testimony of history as to its Babylonian character."
What he says at 3:45 is something that's been on my mind this week, in relation to the JWs and Paul words at Romans 10:3. It will be the subject of my next you tube project. God bless Brian, and happy Easter.

LetsTalkTrueFaith 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith You judge hypocritically. I know this man and you clearly don't. If you knew your scripture, you'd know God judges the heart, NOT the hair. As far as 1 Cor 11:14 goes, how about you continue reading through vs 16. Paul was addressing their local customs but clearly pointed out that he had no such practices nor ANY of the churches of God. Jesus said in MT 12:33-37 out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks & that your words either justify you or condemn. Where you at?
Shiloh2rtn 10 months ago

The1hope4all 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith Can you point to one example where Jesus was rough on someone for how they dressed? Yet we have oodles of examples of Jesus being tough on the ones (Pharisees) whose dress would have been impeccable.
Do you know what a Nazarite vow was?
Jesus said to one of those Pharisees, "You must be born again."
mtcanz 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith You are dense. Rom 10:9,10 "...with the heart one BELIEVES unto RIGHTEOUSNESS and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." It's FAITH not hair! You are so stuck on external appearance that you are blind to the Word of God. He does not call you to "peg" who's a Christian but to proclaim the Gospel. Why don't you just try listening to his artistic way in which he does this? Jesus declared the Pharisees as white washed tombs externally but rotten bones inwardly.
Shiloh2rtn 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith The point being...Appearances say little!
Shiloh2rtn 10 months ago
@Shiloh2rtn Wrong. Appearances say MUCH. You have two men who are coming to you for an interview, both have identical backgrounds and qualifications. 1 wears a proper suit and tie for the interview, and the other wears something more like what the clown in this video is wearing......which one would you be more likely to hire, since they are both equally qualified? The statistics don't lie: The neatly dressed/groom one. He dresses as tho he wants the job, not the nattily, sloppily dressed clown!!
LetsTalkTrueFaith 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith This character looks like Sideshow Bob or something!!
LetsTalkTrueFaith 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith You make a straw man argument. You say that both men being interviewed are equally qualified in your example yet you said of the man in the video - he can't possibly be equally Christian to the JWs - because of his hair and of how he dresses. You went from a top-down argument to a bottom - up argument. Holds no water.
LeftyBlue 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith This confirms what the bible says: Man looks at the outward appearance - God looks at the heart.
The1hope4all 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith Jason is not on a Job interview. Your red hearings don't deter me. But I'll end it here. All that can be said at this point is that it appears you have joined the ranks of the new Pharisees and seem clueless to fact of it. Your "job interview" before the Almighty is coming soon.....hope you fair well. I shall leave you to ponder the meaning of Luke 18:9-14. What you place your trust IN... will determine your ETERNAL destiny. This fact is inescapable. Consider this well.
Shiloh2rtn 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith Are you really a JW? Something not quite right here. You are - quite literally - unbelievable.
The1hope4all 10 months ago
@The1hope4all People like letstalktruefaith need to be packing their you-tube bags and getting ready to stop posting comments on these videos. The July Study edition of the watchtower counsels against posting comments to apostates blogs. I think videos would be viewed the same. We'll see how many are willing to obey the "Slave"
earnestlyseeking 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith People who wear suits and ties, that abuse Children, aren't christian either. Don't be so quick to judge, lest you be judged in the same manner. (see Matt. 7:1-5)
earnestlyseeking 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith What does his appearance have to do with his beliefs? NOTHING. You cannot tell the heart of a person by how they dress or the length of their hair. It's like that old saying - don't judge a book by its cover. T-shirt & jeans or suit & tie, long hair or short - makes ZERO difference when it comes to belief. Crooked lawyers, corrupt politicians, shady business men also wear a suit & tie - this doesn't necessarily mean they are Christian.

21crosscheck21 10 months ago
@pande4509 Easter is pagan!! Nothing christian about it.
LetsTalkTrueFaith 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith Oh sure, NOTHING Christian about it - only that Jesus ROSE FROM THE DEAD to open the gates of Heaven for us. Yeah sure, nothing Christian at all. You know what's not Christian? Not believing in the divinity of Jesus. THAT's un-Christian.
LeftyBlue 10 months ago
@LeftyBlue Jesus never commanded his followers to observe his resurrection...but he DID command us to observe the anniversary of his death....neither of which have anything to do with the pagan holiday named after the false god ashtoreth/ishtar.....the one called "Easter"!! Look it up......it's all pagan.....it comes from pre-Christian times and is TOTALLY offensive to the true God and His Son, Jesus!!!
LetsTalkTrueFaith 10 months ago
@LetsTalkTrueFaith Actually the word "Easter" came from the name Estre - meaning "light, day or spring". Who said we couldn't name something from another language? It doesn't change the celebration that is the resurrection? Do you think that Jesus wouldn't want us to celebrate his resurrection after the long sorrowful season of Lent?
LeftyBlue 10 months ago
In The Two Babylons, by Hislop, we read: “What means the term Easter itself? It is not a Christian name. It bears its Chaldean origin on its very forehead. Easter is nothing else than Astarte, one of the titles of Beltis, the queen of heaven, whose name, . . . as found by Layard on the Assyrian monuments, is Ishtar. . . . Such is the history of Easter. The popular observances that still attend the period of its celebration amply confirm the testimony of history as to its Babylonian character."
LetsTalkTrueFaith 10 months ago
So this thing goes all the way back to ancient pagan Babylon......that's it.

What he says at 3:45 is something that's been on my mind this week, in relation to the JWs and Paul words at Romans 10:3. It will be the subject of my next you tube project. God bless Brian, and happy Easter.
