Spacebar is your friend if you do not want to hear story, although it does make questing more enjoyable. Honestly the quests are ten times better than the old wow quests and its like playing any other bioware game where choices effect your outcome.

I played some ToR in the test they had last weekend. The story elements are great, but the game play could not be more bland. WoW had more exciting combat in 2004, I have no idea what the designers were thinking.

@Whambow not entirely. It is an MMO yes, which means its going to have the same feel. The same way that BF3 has a similar feel to MW3. But the cutscenes add alot to the game giving you a sense of purpose, breaks from the grind, and immersion. There are also some other major differences with the game that make it unique to wow.
