REAL national health care has no Insurance companies. Here in England, care is not "rationed"! Our tax money goes straight into the system, not the pockets of Insurance and Pharmaceutical companies! Socializing health care is not the answer, you can look at the poor quality of healthcare for military/dependents and see how bad it is. Obama's plan is worse. As a dependent, if I need to have a Pap smear and also have another medical issue, I have to make 2 separate appointments, and not back-to-back either. Eash appointment cannot last more than 15 min. and the emphasis is on pushing drugs to treat symptoms, not diagnosis and treatment of underlying cause. To make it worse, I am an RN!

Me paying taxes in my city/town to ensure a fireman will put out a fire in my town\city is not the same as me paying HIGH taxes so a state like Cal [going bankrupt because of astronomical taxes] can continue to a waste money. Or states like Nebraska that under the current bill are exempt from paying the increasing cost that the states will be taking on. These were side deals done to buy off a few Gov's. So depending on what state your in you may or may not be paying your "fair share"

If you want another example of failed "socialized health care" look at any community clinic or hospital. They are underfunded, understaffed and dirty.
