Hey, if you're looking into a Republican candidate. Look into Representative Ron Paul M.D.

He's never voted for congressional pay raise - in fact, he returns some of his congressional pension to the US treasury every year! He takes government spending very seriously. He's participated in the debates, but he's one of the very few that actually has a voting record to refer to. He's not all talk. He's the real deal.

Congress getting a raise? With the Mess they're causing? Give me a break! They should receive raises based only on the economy. In a way, that's rewarding their performance, i.e., the declining economy of which they have a tremendous part-should mean their salary goes down, not up, relative to the economy.
