Sorry to disagree my little man, but this country is reliant on a free press, even if you disagree with certain things they say. Nothing is any more biased than MSNBC, but the President LOVES them. You need to "grow up"and understand that the people of the USA all are under a "BIG TENT" where everyone should be allowed to speak their mind.

That's just the thing with people like you, you accuse the president of trying to infringe on free speech rights. But no one says Fox doesn't have a right to exist. They can lie and distort all day for all I care. All I'm saying is that they then shouldn't be treated like a legitimate news network. MSNBC has opinion journalists just like Fox does but their news reporting isn't slanted or biased like Fox's is and I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.

Also, my little woman, try staying within the framework of what is actually being proposed. No one is denying Fox their right to exist. All we're saying is that they shouldn't be treated as a legitimate new source and that the Obama administration is correct when they don't grant them interviews. No where in that discussion is an attack on free speech. So maybe you should grow up and learn how to discern what the argument is before responding.

Do you know who else Matthews had a high opinion of? George W. Bush. Here's a quote from Matthews on Bush:

"Women like a real man like Bush in the White House, a guy, who stands strong against terrorists."

He said that right after 9/11. So what exactly is your point when you bring up his Obama quote? Plus, MSNBC hasn't lied or distorted anything that I'm aware of. Perhaps you could point out a specific lie they are guilty of.

I brought up Matthews' quote to let you know that he isn't biased towards Democrats. You originally brought up a quote of his to show a bias. If you didn't bring it up to show a bias, then what was the point in bringing it up. Also, I asked you to give an example of MSNBC distorting the truth. You haven't provided one so far so I can only presume that you can't. If you can't then how am I "certifiable"?
